Demeter quickly noticed that she was accidentally choking Vasper and let his neck go. "Sorry." She told him quickly before focusing on the enemy.

She rolled her eyes at the humans that were shooting at her. But once Demeter actually got hit in the chest with a bullet, she winced and was extremely angry. Demeter couldn't die, but she could still be hurt and feel pain, and the fact that humans were shooting at a goddess was unacceptable in her book.

Golden ichor dripped from the wound, and she walked closer to the humans. She started speaking, and it was somehow loud enough to hear over the fighting.
"I cannot die, fools. But unfortunately, you can. I can starve you, I can poison you, I can curse you. If you want to starve for eternity, that is perfectly fine. I will gladly make that happen if you shoot me or these shifters again."
She raised her scythe and slashed at the nearest human.
"And I promise you, I'm not something you want to capture."

The humans that had recovered had started shooting again. Not believing her.

Can we get out of here now? I say as I put my gun back in my pocket

Vasper coughs to catch his breath as he looks between Demeter and Jahab.

Demeter heard him and looked back at him (forgot his name, LOL). "Yes, leave with Vasper. No one needs to get wounded anymore than they already are." She said.

Vasper tried to stand, but collapsed as he put weight on his shot leg.

Vasper appreciated Jahab's assistance, as he balanced on his good leg and wrapped his arm around his shoulder.

Jason accepted the help of Navar to sit on the couch then reached for his cup to down the juice. "That does take it out of you, at least for a first time thing." He said and looked around at how the fey reacted to Bardou.

Anna was content to stay in his arms despite feeling much better already. She glanced to Jason and nodded "Having a third form is something to get used to but soon it will feel just like your wolf form.


Aurora said something quietly in another language then nodded "Interesting, it will be good to have them back once more." She added in english. She thought of something and looked to Maxton, softly calling him over for a moment.

Bardou greeted the sylphs too and smiled, glad to see them once more. He was glad they would no longer be hunted by those who had been his friends at one time. Jason has been informing me of the current state of affairs here, it is good that you are all here now to help with this battle.

Navar as on the arm of the couch and listened to the siblings talk.

Zypher looked smiled to Jason and asked, " So do you have the markings or is Anna the only one? "

You will live for eternity, weak, starving, and dehydrated. No amount of pitiful ancient magic can save you, you won't even be able to be put out of your misery."
Once Demeter had cursed him, she let him go. She didn't want to curse too many humans, because they'd end up being hard to keep up with, so she decided to leave the warehouse with Vasper and whoever else he was with now that one of the mortals were punished.

Troy stared st Demeter wide-eyed as she spoke. But as soon as she released him, the curse began. He looked around confused about why him. He had to follow orders.
