Navar and Zypher were excited to hear the bit of information. But they looked to Garth as he explained the loophole in Jackie's warding and how she'd strengthened it to Kallen.

Garth sighed softly and looked over to Kallen as he continued. "Jackie set it up that shifters could cross onto her property. But others had to be invited. Now she can uninvite anyone she chooses. I've seen that with Chaos. But I wasn't seeking sanctuary, I attacked first the Oilins, then Bertram and Jackie. They tricked me to land in the water and I was drowning. They didn't have to save me, but they did and I've been loyal ever since. I'm ashamed to say, I was a created shifter assassin. " He confessed miserably.

Xatia picked up on Shaylee's discomfort and looked around for her. She soon realized her mistake. "Cicero come, Shaylee needs to find water. We'll head back to the walk-in fountain if need be. I'm sorry my friend. " She spoke through the common link.

"Of course, by all means. Keira stepped forward and offered herself completely. She thought of Anna and Zypher's penthouse apartment.

Ember nodded and picked up one that had one big pocket and several small ones around it. She put it around her neck and looked to him. "What do you think of this one?"

Kellan listened then nodded. "We call that a life debt. Sounds to me like you found the perfect people to be indebted to and that their kindness has taught you to be a better person." He said then smiled and looked to the others again. "That spell is a known one, only allowing invited creatures into a specific place, but it is one that can be countered if they have anyone that is invited to bring them in. The weakness of that spell is that they do not have to be in control of their actions to bring others in. A control spell on an associate of hers is the easiest key." He said thoughtfully.

Shaylee shook her head and smiled at them both. "Do not be sorry, it is a wondrous sight, just not one I can watch for long. You can continue to watch, see they have water right here that I can use." She said kindly, motioning to a concession tent nearby.

Fay nodded and smiled at him gently then took Kiera's hand to transport them to the place in her mind. One perk of being a goddess was that she could go wherever she wanted to and with whoever she wanted to bring.

"I'm glad it doesn't matter, because you lover her. I've known what it's like to keep your true self hidden way from the world. So I knew her struggle hiding it from you." Carrow answered truthfully.

"That one looks very nice and it looks good on you. I like it a lot." Cadeon said truthfully.

Garth agreed to the truth of Kallen's statement. A life debt, he like how noble that sounded. Just as he'd gladly lay down his life to protect his friends, especially Jackie.

They all drew quiet and thought that information over. Zypher was the first to break the silence, "So far all our people are accounted for. If they had such a spell on someone, it would be either on Garth or Jaxon. They are both former Menagerie converts."

Cicero hurried over to the tent to get Shaylee some water. After a breif discussion with the woman, he bowed as she handed him a large cup of iced water for her. "Here, she said it was on the house. Whatever that means?" He said.

Xatia grinned and said, "I believe it means free. But why they would charge for water is beyond me? It's a basic element that is necessary to sustain life."

Nashton and Taylor jumped and screamed at the sudden appearance of four people in the room. They settled a bit when they saw Keira, but not by much. "What's going on? " Luce asked confused as she looked out of the kitchen. She frowned as she saw the new guests. "Oh, hello, how can I....Keira?" She asked politely.

"Hey, Luce, is Jason and Anna in. I have a goddess here needing to speak with them. Fey, this is Luce. This here is my long lost brother and (don't know wolf's name. Lol.)

"A goddess? Oh, my I haven't cleaned, this place is a shambles. Please excuse the untidyness, you highlyness." Luce said embarrassed, as she curtsied.

They'd came out of the front entrance of the hospital. Carrow looked around cautiously as they headed to the parking lot. "She is a very sweet girl, I'm relieved that she got free and came back to you unharmed. Has she talked about where they were taken? " She asked curiously.

Ember smiled and modeled the purse a little before placing it in the cart and nodding "Yes, just need to make it fireproof and it will work perfectly well" She said then reached for his hand to go to get some kids clothes.

"No one was left at the property? All they have to do is catch one over the borderline and they can ensnare them." Kellan said then shrugged lightly and looked to Garth again, studying him for a long moment "I do not sense any such spell on Garth" He said then frowned and looked up "Though someone did just come in up there with a high arcana." He added with a wince as he reached his free hand up to rub his temple a little. He just had to be searching for hidden magic when the goddess appeared without warning.

Shaylee smiled and drank the water to replenish herself. She listened to them talk as she started to feel better. "Humans do not have the means to create more when they want it, perhaps there is too little clean water that they ration what they have here?" She said thoughtfully though the fountains would beg to differ on that guess. Humans simply didn't make sense sometimes.

Fay smiled at Luce, turning to look at her when she spoke. "Oh, do not be bothered by that young one. I lived on Earth in roman times. Romans and Greeks were not neat peoples. Better than the Huns though. This place looks very nice as it is. It is lived in and comfortable." She said then shrugged as she looked to Nashton and Taylor then smiled at them "I should have sent a warning chime, but it has been so long since I have traveled like that that I did not think of it, and I doubt the living today would understand the significance of it. All the more reason that some of the gods should return to Earth again." She said thoughtfully. "That is neither here nor there though. I must find and speak with the alphas

Cadeon chuckled lightly as he walked with Ember. "Alright, I want to know what is your favorite color? Mine is purple. Our little guy has to represent our likes in clothing choices. " He teased mildly.

Zypher's heart sank at that thought. He'd thought of the wolves as beyond reproach. They were so warrior like. "We'll have to let the wolves know then." Zypher said with concern. He was relieved to hear about Garth, but grew alarmed about the latter. "Wait, what?" He stood up, though he was in human form, his hackles were up and a growl escaped from him as he looked to Axis, who was already on his phone calling Ackley.

Navar stood up as well, ready to defend his pack mates.

"That would explain the clear bottles of water everyone is carrying around. Perhaps buying water is prestigious. Especially since I saw some drinking from a small fountain earlier. " Xatia stated absently.

Cicero agreed to their assessment. It made sense to him that humans were strange creatures that defied their logic. But then perhaps, like Navar had pointed out, they also have very strange customs and rituals. So there may be a reason for theirs. He reasoned with a smile.

Nashton and Taylor just stared at the goddess awestruck. They'd never been in the presence of a god before. She spoke, but they just nodded like bobbing heads.

Luce, however was functioning fine. "Anna said she was getting more rest. Jason, I haven't seen him. But she is likely to know where he went. I'll go wake her, goddess. " She said then curtsied before heading down the hallway.
