"Wonderful. Follow me, then. I'm sure you'll like it." Islanzadi said pleasantly and started walking, leaving the small clearing they were in. "You may think it looks rather boring at first, but it has quite the history."

"I am certain I could never think that. I don't think I've ever found anything boring. " Cicero said with humor.

Lexi beamed proudly at the brothers and savored every moment of her freedom, now that her conscience was clear. Her guilt had been eating her alive.
~~~
Falkirk looked to the queen and replied courteously, "Thank you for you kind offer and hospitality. We would like to retire there, so we do not take up any more of your valuable time, your grace. "
~~~
Maxton nodded agreement, "Then I shall go get King Racine for you, then." He said as he stood up.

"No, I'll go. You stay here with Princess Sorcha. I'll be right back." Jackdaw replied as he went to the mirror portal.
~~~
Xatia followed Kellan as he moved along.
(We can fade to the background, unless you have something planned? )
~~~
Ravek smiled and pointed, "It's just here." He explained as he opened the portal onto the beach.
~~~
Sandor chuckled lightly and admitted, "I did have my face buried in your feathers."
~~~
(Not when she lives in a cave. Lol!

I'm only teasing. )
Markus shook his head as he led the way again. The floor was cleaned from incineration and had been readied for new inhabitants.
After the meal was done, Shane stood to wash the dishes since Ian had cooked and Lexi was a guest.
~~~
Nabal dipped her head and smiled at that then turned to walk along the hall again "Did you want to see the young with me or go to your room?"
~~~
Sorcha watched them both then looked back to the stone and sighed softly as she waited.
~~
Aurora smiled at him then stepped through, looking around warily as she did. Once she was sure it was safe enough, she shifted to her dragon form and went to the water's edge to bring the hades hound up in his bubble still.
~~~
Rana chuckled and nodded "Yes, but you were not scared of falling." She said then shrugged
~~~
Shaylee sighed softly and looked to Marcus, following him to the room in question. At this moment she had no way to get free on her own, so she would cooperate so long as it wasn't harmful to anyone.

"Umm, sure! Do you know of a place where we could get something to eat? I'd like to buy you breakfast." He offered politely.

Aurienne looked at him curiously. None of the humans had ever been so kind to her without expecting repayment. "No, thank you. That is very kind of you but I won't be able to repay you." She answered, stubbornly. Though she was grateful for the offer.

"I am certain I could never think that. I don't think I've ever found anything boring. " Cicero said with humor.
She smiled. "Well, that's good." She said and continued walking.

They reached a spot near the castle that had a large, ancient tree with a small home sitting securely on top. And near the tree house was a willow tree with small groups of sage growing around it.

"That's the Mourning Sage." Islanzadi told Cicero. "It is said that when the war between elves and dragons ended, the last sword maker, Imra, came here to mourn. Her entire family had been killed by dragons, along with her husband, and now that nobody had much of a use for swords, it was likely she would become poor. She then did not believe that there was much of a point in living, so she sat here and cried.
Imra then turned herself into a tree so she could mourn forever, and her tears that hit the earth turned into sage." She sighed once she had finished.
"This story hasn't been proven to be true, but after the war ended she came here and suddenly disappeared, and while it was an extremely uncommon spell, turning yourself into a tree was still, for some reason, a possibility. She was never a very joyful individual, so everyone who knew her did not think this story was so far-fetched.
And over many years, this place became more peaceful than depressing. She ceased mourning, I suppose, and there's a legend that says she enters the minds of those who are desperate, so she can help them avoid the depression she trapped herself in."

(And, here's what the tree house basically looks like: )

"Hey, I'd like to give these dishes a try. You both Ave been so generous, let be earn my keep. Please? " Lexi asked politely.
~~~
Falkirk glanced to Star surprised by the offer to be around their precious young. He smiled as he returned his gaze to Queen Nabal. "That would be an honor. We'd very much love to see the young." He said with enthusiasm.
~~~
Racine was about to start the spell, when Ender came for him, saying that Princess Sorcha was in need of his help. He closed his eyes briefly before he turned to go to the tree of life. He'd simply do a direct portal, it would save time and energy. With in minutes, he was stepping out and looked to Sorcha lost in concentration. "We meet again. What is the assistance you require of me?" Racine asked curiously.

Maxton looked up at Racine's voice and move back out of the way. That's when he noticed Ibis has left them.
~~~
Ravek followed Jaeger as he stepped through and stayed close to Aurora, until she shifted. He looked at her with wide-eyed wonder. Ravek shut the portal and stepped over to Aurora with a smile. "How do you want to do this?" He asked uncertainly.
~~~
"No, because you lovely scent calmed me and gave me something else to focus on." Sandor stated unabashedly. He then took an exit off the freeway to an industrial part of the city.
~~~
Markus glanced back to them as he stopped by the large door to the massive salt water pool. He unlock it and held the door open. " Here we are. Please, make yourself at home. If you need anything, don't bother to ask. We'll get around to you... eventually." He said with a chuckle.
(She can smack him if she wants. :lol: )
(Nicky, did you answer my post and it got lost in the shuffle, or.....)
Kyth's expression deflated slightly, but he hid his disappointment behind his hand as he rubbed his chin. "Oh, okay. I understand completely. Well then, I suppose I should be on my way. Goodbye, Aurienne. Try not to fall off of any roofs. " He replied softly. He smiled warmly, as he but his hands in his pockets and walked down the street.
