Asclepius asked, "would it be preferable for me to charge in with a front line assault? My species of dragon are masters of luck, light, fire, and healing, so I can use my fire breath to full effect if I'm in front, then fall back once we engage the enemy earnestly so I don't roast anyone."

Maxton, Ravek and Xatia glanced to him with appreciation of his most advantageous reveal. "Oh, now that I like. You were holding out on us Asclepius. You never told us you had to capacity of fire. Most definitely an advantage best used to the fullest." Maxton stated with a friendly smile.

Reaper watched the exchange between Storm and Pariah. He tried to warn Storm as the second spell struck home. He launched into the air to try to help however he could, when a thunderous laugh sounded. Reaper was confused by Storm's response. Let alone that he was still alive.

Storm continued to laugh as his depleted body eagerly absorbed the lighting magic. "You don't strike a ice dragon with lighting magic, we are weather! Wind, rain and LIGHTING!" His voice thundered as the clouds started building to block out the sun and the winds built to a brushing velocity that had cooled the air and picked up debris from the ground to make projectiles out of the smallest items.

Reaper seize the opportunity and added his acid to the whirlwind whipping the area. He struggled to stay buoyant within the strong wind currents.

Slygotha could sense the turmoil going on outside. She coiled securely around her wyrmlings, humming to them in order to drown out the battle. Through her intimate connection to the land, she could feel the vibrations clearly. She refused to leave the wyrmlings unprotected at this point, as the nest still smouldered within the cave, though the firestorm outside had ceased. She was low on magic reserves, but would save what she had left to punish any who came close enough. Her crest betrayed her agitation to her young, as it remained more or less extended in a state of alarm and anger.

"One never reveals all his cards at the start of the game, you know," replied Asclepius with exaggeration. "We weren't hunted just for our lovely hides, but because we can be downright monsters to fight. My tribe may traditionally be a good people, but everyone fears and envies the strong," he explained.

Xatia nodded in contemplation, "Very true. Most Fae downplay their talents as well. It would seem certain things are universal among many peoples. " She replied softly.

"It is my experience that the one's who boast overly much, are the ones over compensating for shortcomings." Ravek added.

Navar growled loudly at the abuse of his friend, but rained in his wild dog's protective instinct to focus on what needed to be done. He added the new development and the details Fay noted in the text. Hr then sent it to Anna's phone. He looked to Fay and said, "Ashton is familiar with this facility, so she'll probably be our best bet. But Ravek isn't going to like not being able to be there with her."

"It's worse then we think, there's a ruin upon that door. What it does, we won't know until we can translate it. I'm running encryption scans now, but nothing so far." Ackley informed them.

Navar didn't like that, time they didn't have.

Zypher glanced to Anna's phone as it buzzed announcing the arrival of a new message. "Is it go time? " He asked eagerly.

"My thoughts exactly. But I only wonder if Racine build the void stable enough to support multiple doorways." Maxton voiced his one concern.

Xatia stated, "Then why would he make the void so large if it couldn't accommodate such."

Ravek looked between his fellow Fae and reminded gently, "You know Racine doesn't do anything by half measures. I'm positive it will hold and then some. It's our best shot at cutting the numbers lost. They will not be able to isolate our groups if they have a way out wherever they are or regroup on a safe floor. Especially when their armory of weapons is take from them."

Aeval smiled proudly and said, " I wouldn't miss it for the world. So, are we fly them out there.." Pandora finished for her, "Because they don't have wings?" Ena looked to her sisters and said, "Well need the ground support. One they won't even see coming. Hades hounds are pretty scary. I did some research last night when you both were snoring and keeping me up."
~~~~
Racine grinned devilishly and whispered in her mind, "I must inform you, my darling wife. That statement means something completely different on earth." But all levity fled as he grew serious once again, " But yes, lets! As far as their destination, why to a magic suckling, windowless, doorless cell build within the cells in the dungeon. That way when the occupant is devoid of magic, well crack it open and let them out. Sound like a good plan?" He asked privately.
Spyro looked up with a start, he hadn't realized Foneth was watching him. He flushed in embarrassment and nodded rapidly. "Yes! Of course! " He then closed his eyes and focused on the strongest emotion he'd felt recently. It was vague at first, until he nurtured it into the forefront of his mind. It's intensity stunned him as indignation and fury filled him to almost bursting. He remembered the abject disgust at seeing his brethren slaughtered in such a manner in the dungeon. Now that the shock had worn off, the entirety of his emotions was revealed. His eyes shot open as he gasped aloud. He had a moment of pure panic, before he slammed it all into the mental image of the great dragon. He squeezed his eyes shut at the agony of such a large emotion was focused into a great pressure that built until bursting. Then all at once, it went away. Spyro frowned as he was certain of his failure. But the perspective that met his eyes was proof to the contrary. For he'd indeed shifted into a great dragon of significant height. Startled, he jumped back and lost his footing and fell unceremoniously to the ground.
Ender thew back his head and laughed harder then he'd ever laughed before.
The other Sylphs stared in muted silence at the amazing transformation. It had been glorious, for they'd all had been deeply rooted in Spyro's mind the whole time. He'd opened it to them intentionality.
Markus turned to look at the sound of the logging rig that cut, stripped and stacked the trees that stood in the path of the containment vehicles. It was quite the sight to see how easily and effortlessly it cleared the path.
Pariah tipped her head at the strange equipment for a moment, before turning to face the dragons once more. She called out to Storm in his mind and watched as the ice dragon focused upon her. " My presence in your mind proves I still own you. Fight all you want , you'll never be free of me. Im far stronger than you and your father combined. But he's no longer here to help you. Pity he left you to our mercy, for we have none for you!" She then sent a power orb flying at him.
Storm roared his rage against Pariah and free fell to avoid being struck by her orb. He flared his wings and soared upwards and once it had passed beyond harming him. He focused upon Pariah and shouted, " You have no hold on me demos! You forget, Xavier had the kings spell book before you knew it existed. Do you not wonder why there were pages torn out? Because even my father knew certain spells were not to fall into evildoers hands. He destroyed them in the good conscience. But not before I saw them! You will meet your end! By his blood upon your hands, I vow this!"
Pariah laughed manically, "And who said he was dead?! That was your conclusion, not mine! Xavier lives! Or, at least he was alive when I sent him away to the enemy. " She said with delight.
Storm faltered in his wing beats at the revelation. His father could still be alive? He marveled in shock.
The reaction Pariah had hoped for presented itself as expected and she struck with a bolt spell and hit Storm square in the chest with it.
Storm roared loudly as it penetrated his breastplate.....
Fay nodded and looked to the screen again "I will go and find Ashton to bring her...or would the golden dragon doctor do well?" She asked, looking at the room more closely through the screen and frowning "There are other runes, painted over to hide them, though they show through a little." ya for hi resolution screens, though they weren't quite good enough. "I cannot tell what they are from here, this place has magic everywhere."
Anna looked to her phone, showing the text to Zypher, but not reading it aloud so they wouldn't upset Ravek. She was worried though
"We don't have to arrive at exactly the same moment, we can stagger the portals, do two at a time then close them to let whoever needs them open them back up as needed once inside" Kellan said calmly. He didn't want to chance having the void collapse from too many doors at once.
~~~
Aurora nodded and smiled again "Yes, we can fly the flightless out there. Do a whole 'grand entrance' attack, especially if we go in hidden as the hades hound can do. Though such a spell wouldn't last long." She said, turning thoughtful at that. "Water refracts light, so we could come in under cover of clouds, or have water bend the light around us, making it conceal us until we got too close for them to attack." She said then looked to Asclepius and nodded "That would prove another good distraction
~~~
Sorcha looked to Racine then blushed as she saw what he meant. She covered her face for a moment before nodding as she listened to him continue, though she couldn't make the blush go away that easily. She looked to the mirror then glanced around, picking an object at random to set in front of the mirror to focus the portal spell on. Now they had to set up the other side so it could be activated "Let us get this taken care of, then we can discuss that other more fully" She said, teasing a little as she headed for the door once more.
~~~
Foneth watched Spyro, gasping as he shifted to his dragon form then grinning happily "Wonderfully done Spyro." She said, praising him then trying not to laugh quite as obviously as Ender did as she then looked to the other sylphs "That is the way to break it, strong emotion and will and the desire to take your dragon form, all together as one powerful release." Hm, did that work to shift into the sylph form? She closed her eyes thoughtfully as she tried to get a strong emotion to the forefront of her mind. The strongest she had right then was joy, joy that her people would finally be able to be free and return to the skies and their magic. Will and desire to take the smaller form were simple enough to add in.

She blinked and looked down at herself before promptly falling from only having two legs to balance on instead of four that she was used to. She still had four wings, though they had changed shape they were still white feathered. She tucked them against her back, studying her arm curiously, more concerned with that than trying to stand for the moment.

Xatia nodded in contemplation, "Very true. Most Fae downplay their talents as well. It would seem certain things are universal among many peoples. " She replied softly.

"It is my experience that the one's who boast overly much, are the ones over compensating for shortcomings." Ravek added.

"Exactly! Now we are on the same page!" Exclaimed Asclepius, gesturing dramatically between Xatia and Ravek.
He walked back to reveal his natural shape, that of a 22 foot tall, exceedingly long and lithe golden shape, with elegantly swept back golden horns tipped with patina, and a Cascade of whiskers from his smiling jaws. His golden wings, folded against his body, joined all the way from shoulder to tail tip in a Continuous stretch, like a pair of glorious sails tucked neatly against his glittering hide. The gemstones studding his body glistened with an ethereal glow. His eyes were molten pools of gold. He radiated light and heat from his body, his sides were boiling hot to the touch, but he calmed his aura to not catch anything or anyone on fire.
Leaning back into a sitting position, he tucked his tail neatly against his side, and it wrapped almost all the way around himself. Gesturing dramatically, he clapped his terrible claws. "Tada! What do you think?"

Echo team watched the two dragons, moving to fire anti-magic grenades at them both. The grenades wouldn't last long, but it might be long enough to get a clear shot with electrified nets at the black one and sleeping darts at Storm.

Navar had forgotten about Asclepius. "If he'll help, bringing him. He might know what those runes mean and how to get inside. " He agreed with Fay on her choice.
~~~
Zypher shared Anna's concern as he looked between the siblings before he glanced to the gathered Fae. "Mums the word on that last part. But we'll go with the rest. Get some bottled water from the supplies and send them with whoever goes. He said quietly.
Xatia nodded decidedly at Kellan's idea. "I agree, best to not press out chances." She said softly. She then turned to Asclepius as he stepped back and shifted. Her jaw dropped in amazement as she stared at his radiant splendor.
"Most impressive!" Maxton voiced as Asclepius asked what they thought.
Ravek added, "You are beyond compare to anything I've ever seen on earth. You are a golden statue that moves."
~~
Racine watched her work the spell and grinned at her statement. "Promises, promises. " He replied mentally as he moved to follow her out of the room.
~~~
Ends laughter died instantly as he observed Foneth's change of form. " You did it! You shifted forms!" He said with amazement. The other Sylphs stared at Foneth's new form as if she was the most beautiful thing that had ever graced their eyes.

Spyro fumbled with his new appendages as he finally managed to get back on his feet. He looked around to see who Ender had ment, upon seeing Foneth's new self, he made a soft sound and whispered, "Stunning", which to his horror was amplified by his much larger form. He blinked in surprise, but intended to own up to his now public observation.

Tramsin nodded his agreement with Spyro assessment. "Yes, she is." Dyrus agreed.

Fay nodded and vanished to get back to the group and find the dragon, only to see him in his dragon form. She smiled and walked over to him "Asclepius, we need your medical experience." She said, looking up at him and smiling because he was so glittery. It had been quite a while since his kind had felt free enough to show themselves in the daylight. She was almost sad to see him have to shift back so soon.
~~~
Anna nodded and went to get the water, going over to Fay when the goddess returned to give her the water bottles.
Jason looked to Zypher then over to teh fae and dragons "Looks like everyone is ready to go now" He said then looked back to Zypher and offered his hand to shake "Good luck and let's win this war"
Kellan looked to the golden dragon in awe for a moment before nodding "You are incredible" He agreed Yep, they had a lot of firepower on their side, he hoped it would be enough.
~~~
Sorcha shut the door after they were all out, putting a holding spell on it just in case. It wouldn't last long under attack, but it would give a few minutes and an alarm if it was breached. She smiled to Racine and held a hand out to walk with him back to the dungeons to finish the trap.
~~~
Foneth looked up at them as their focus all shifted to her. Oh. She smiled at Spyro's unintentional announcement and sat up then frowned a little and looked down. Hm, this would take some getting used to. "I did, didn't I?" She asked even as she tried to stand, using her wings to help keep her balance as she did "Two legs is not the same as four." She said, laughing even as she made that observation before looking to the males again. "Spyro, you should be able to shift at will now, just by willing yourself to your other form as Ender can do." Her eyes shifted to the others gathered there "Be certain to give yourselves enough space before you try to shift."
( Sorry for the wait. I was thinking about this one. :p )
Reaper flared his wings and short upwards as he caught an up draft to avoid the nets being fired at him. His tail however did get snagged in one of the highest aimed one. He flung his tail wildly to free it from its hold. The electricity radiated from his tail and surged upwards through his body. He focused a stream of concentrated acid at it in hopes it would free him before he hit the ground due to his wing rhythm being off from the jolts.
Storm knew well the devices they were using aginst him. He'd help make some of them with his father. The grenades in particular were of his design. He definitely avoided them. As far as the tranq darts, his crystalline scales deflected them easily. There were only two spots that were a kink in his natural armor. Every Dragon had its weaknesses that they guarded ferociously.
