Fay looked at the screen then patted Ackley's shoulder "Thanks" She said before vanishing again, this time appearing near Ravek "Ravek, I need your help" She said, glancing to the soldiers then taking something out of her pocket and throwing it towards the group. "That will slow them down for five minutes, use the time wisely" She said to tZypher then focused on Ravek again "We found Shaylee but she's trapped in her mind. She needs you"

~~~
Shaylee looked at their joined hands then back to his eyes again "I know you are real Anton, I can feel your hand in mine." She said then winced as pain hit her. She felt someone holding her down, though there was no one there? She didn't understand what was going on now, then the pain eased as did the feeling of being held down, leaving her gasping for breath and scared. What had that been?
~~~

Aurora saw the helicopter too and grinned, glancing to Aeval "you want that, or can I have it?" She asked teasingly. Oh, she had found she liked making that thing into a useless pile of metal scraps. She came down to land and allow Garmr to dismount before they would attack the building

~~~
Kellan looked at the scientists as they worked then to the group he was with "Want to sleep-spell them or take them and tie them up?" He asked softly, watching the workers curiously. What monstrosities were they cooking up in there?
~~~
Jason led his group through the portal, looking around before shifting to his wolf, the normal one, and making his way down the hall, scenting for recent smells that would indicate if anyone was here. Ugh, this place smelled like cleaners more than anything else. He moved, checking the doors then pausing to let his wolves clear the room before going to the next.
~~~
Sorcha smiled at him and reached for his hand, gently testing to see if Avalon was still busy or not to ask her and Spyro in a more round-about way. She was glad that she and Racine could work so well together
~~~

(lol, yep)

When they arrived, the male landed outside the castle, dipping his head and neck so Jackdaw could get off and be able to go inside. "I will wait here if you need a return flight" He offered. Yeah, he liked his dragon form and didn't want to go inside since that meant shifting.

~~~
Foneth smiled at his words, letting the flow of knowledge end when she had given him as much as she could. "There, now you and Ender will be able to give this knowledge to the others as you want or need to." She said then looked over to the other dragons standing or flying around excitedly. Now they had nine great dragons here, even if they weren't fully ready to fight.
~~~
The dragonkin called out then grabbed her by the back of the neck, using her ice breath to try to knock out the baby with shock at the quick strike to the back of the skull. She would then ice over the acid injury before trying to take off with the baby's weight to head for the humans and rest, hopefully.

~~~
The dragonkin male growled as he searched for the infant, not liking that he couldn't find him here. He started searching in a circular pattern, going both up and downriver to try to find the young beast.
Ravek was surprised by Fay's arrival and even more so by her first words. Why would a goddess need his help? But the words that followed after her assistance to Zypher's group chilled him to his very soul. What had his mate endured at the hands of Pariah that would have her retreat si deeply into her own mind? Or what could be keeping her there?" Please! Take me to her. " He said urgently. He had to be with his beloved.
Zypher dipped his head to Fay with appreciation and gratitude. "Believe me, we won't waste a second." He assured her as he joined his group in neutralizing the threat.
~~~
"Shaylee, are you alright? " Anton asked concerned. He had to keep her with him.
~~~
Aeval could tell the shiny object ment more to Aurora. She explained simply, "I think you should deal with it. I've never came across such a strange thing before. "
Garmr had taken off for the entrance in the tunnel. Her invisibility would allow her to get in under their noses as well as keep them busy on all fronts.
~~~
Degan look to Kellan with appreciation of that idea. "Oh, I like that very much. There's no telling what type of biological weapons they're cooking up in there." He said with trepidation.
~~~
Keira and Vasper trotted along with Jason in their maned wolf forms. They kept watch as the others cleared each room. The both paused as they came to the door of the far end of the hallway. Behind the glass double doors was a room filled with rows upon rows of cryogenic chambers and artificial wombs.
~~~
Avalon greeted Sorcha mentally at her gentle probe and informed her of Spyro whereabouts. She agreed to part with him as her personal guard for the duration of this vital defense aginst the Hythishens.
~
Spyro who was speaking with Foneth tuned into the conversation between the two. He then politely made his excuses to Foneth. "I will share this knowledge to all of my brethren I can. Thank you princess Foneth. Now, you must excuse me, for my services are required elsewhere at the moment. I hope to see you again. Thank you for all you have done for Sylph kind." He said with a formal bow.
~~~
(I bumped this down one. )
"Thank you, my friend. " Jackdaw said in parting as he hurried into the castle. He slowed at the throne room and looked to the guards imploringly. "My I have an audience with Queen Nabal? " He asked quietly.
~~~
As expected, Nevitha fell limp from the blow from the larger dragonkin.
~~~
Razeth knew enough to know that the slow moving brackish river would not clear quickly. He'd bide his time and wait the dragonkin out. The thing about slowing the heart rate, you oxygen lasted for a long time.
(Done! ;) )
The dragonkin there would go to grab the infant, carefully making sure it couldn't turn and spit acid at him as he did. He would then let the humans tranq Valstrath and put him with the other infant, ready to be transported back to base.
So stunned by his sudden exposure, Valstrath was incapable of putting up much if a fight. He wailed piteously as the dragonkin caught ahold of him and flew away. He looked to the humans and wondered where their brood mother had gone.
Slygotha glared at Markus. " This is my home, my life. I am connected to the very stones here, the plants and animals. I am queen here. In the world, I am nothing. I have nothing out there, especially now. I've lost my life's work in an instant." Her long hair obscured her features, falling across her face. "Even my mate is gone." The hot tears flowed, leaving a trail down her ivory cheeks.
She stood, her head down.
Markus stood up and looked around the various caverns unimpressed. "Queen here? It doesn't look like much. Your life's work, really? Nice to know you didn't set the bar very high. As far as you being nothing, out in the world, you're worth far more then you had in your hoard. You've just financed the next phase of my biological weapons. I don't need my government connections anymore. I'm independently wealthy thanks to your hard work. " He called back to Slygotha as he headed for the mouth of the cave.
Slygotha was not used to being talked down to. She didn't like it. She was practiced at manipulation, but it wasn't easy to let Markus's comment slide. It wasn't like she had a choice. Her teeth were set on edge as the anger rose within. She watched Valstrath crying out for her. She knew she had enough magic for just one last big wave of Darkness, and she had been saving it for an opportunity. She continued crying, gathering her magic. She had to regain composure without revealing it, and save her last offspring. After following meekly behind her captor, she closed her eyes for a moment, stopping, then opened them as they turned jet black, the blackness radiating outward and enveloping the entirety of the cavern. Slygotha hoped the suddenness would be enough to distract her captors long enough to slip out with Valstrath. She lunged towards him in the darkness, knowing every nook within the cavern by heart. She tried to tear the chain from her holder's hands as the enveloping blackness spread just outside with Slygotha at its core.
Fay reached for his hand to take him out of there and to go back to Jackie's realm so they could get to Shaylee once more. She had to take a seat and call up a cup of Ambrosia after all this running around through so many realms, but she watched Ravek and Asclepius work.
~~~
Shaylee shook her head, looking to him with worry "No, I don't know what that was. It felt like an attack and someone holding me down?" She was worried and scared but she had no defenses left.
~~~
Aurora grinned, dropping the cloak of water just before landing on the helicopter and crushing it's propellers then throwing the thing into the building to cause chaos and possibly an explosion. She liked that he wouldn't be able to fly after them now.
~~~
Kellan nodded and stepped to the door of one room, using his magic to make them all sleep then glancing to Degan and the others before moving to the next door to do the same.
~~~
Jason looked through the doors with a frown before sneezing and heading in. Yeah, they couldn't let this just continue. He looked for an 'operations' room to find out what was what in here.
~~~
Sorcha sent the information to Racine, thanking Avalon then looking to Racine as they waited for Spyro and his general to arrive.
~~~
Foneth dipped her head then looked to the new dragons,smiling at their enjoyment of their first flight. She would let them keep flying as they wished, retaking her natural form to rest and watch them.
~~~
He would be bowed through to the throne room. Nabal was there, talking to her people informally. She looked to the doors as they opened then smiled st Jackdaw as he came in "Hello and welcome."
~~~
The dragonkin called out happily and started back to the main group with her prize to add this baby to the others captured.
~~~
The male continued his circling, getting further away and concentrating more on the water as he looked for where the infant had escaped to. He had expected the baby to keep running, not to go to ground.

Asclepius turned as a concerned man was brought in. "Thank goodness, you must be the psychic! Please, there is something blocking her recovery. She needs someone who can reach her where she is. I can't proceed further without removing it!"

Pariah felt the chain slip from her grasp and watched calmly as Slygotha moved away in the center of her darkness. A little known fact about Pariah was she didn't only rely on her traditional vision, she also had serpentine vision. It was similar to that if most Pit Vipers. She saw heat signatures in the absence of all light. She was in no hurry to chase after the broodmother and her wyrmling. She'd soon find that collar was nearly impossible to remove without the release spell and she'd be forced to stay in her human form until it was removed.

Slygotha felt her captor let go, and bolted towards her wyrmling, whispering comforting words to him as she approached. She knew if she didn't convince him of her true identity, he could damage her fragile human body. Curse its squishy nature! She whispered urgently," Valstrath, you are the last of my wyrmlings. Please, let me carry you to safety, we can escape together!"
She knew there was precious little time before the hunt started.

The drgaonkin didn't like the darkness, holding the infant and growling as he looked around for light. He heard whispering and hissed, turning that way and blowing his ice breath
