Slygotha nodded approval as she took the lead in the water, her third eyelids filtering out the murky waters. Her body shimmied through the water lazily, letting the current do most of the work for her. Her head only broke the surface to breathe before retreating to the relative safety of the muddy water. Her wings clung tightly to her sides so as not to hinder progress.
Nidhogg paddled after Slygotha, her claws churning the water until she got up to speed while her muscular tail waved strongly from side to side. She was trying to focus as Broodmother had stated, but doubts lingered, nagging thoughts tugging at her mind. Her timid nature would make fear her greatest obstacle in forcing the stone to do her bidding.
Valstrath and Razeth followed at a distance of Slygotha and Nidhogg. Razeth caught small fish that swam to close. Valstrath was partially in his mind. What would it be like living amongst their enemies? When would they see father again? Was their sisters and brother alright? So many uncertainties, it was impossible to phantom their future.

Markus watched as the small dragon's body was slipped into the ocean. They'd harvested all they needed from her and set her back to the elements. The large propellers would ensure that she was ground up beyond identification. After all, he couldn't have everyone knowing dragons existed and shifters were real. His collection was growing due to Pariah's efforts. She seemed intent on making him happy. Which was strange considering her temperament. The captain asked him a question about their next destination, he looked over and stated simply, "Why Russia of course. Let's pay Dominic a visit. "

Kali looked at Aeval and laid down again, sighing. She would rest for now, glad that at least she was here with her. She did look around to see if the guys were here though.
~~~
Aurora sighed and nodded. "I won't be able to hide them anymore. They will have to take their place as queen." She knew that, she had just hoped to have a bit more time.
~~~
Jackie smiled and hugged him. "Good, I'm glad work is going so well. Come over here and let me fix you a plate." She said with a chuckle.

Slygotha kept acutely aware of her surroundings while swimming. She did not want to loose track of any of her remaining wyrmlings, and was focused on her goal. She remained stoic on the outside, but a fire raged in her heart, the humiliation of being robbed stung deep to her core, and she wanted to utterly destroy they who did this to her.
Nidhogg swam behind quietly. She was always afraid of the unknown, but she would do what was nessesary to survive. She tried focusing her stone again, resulting in a shakey blob while they swam.

Aeval scooted over closer and would watch over her friend as best she could while Kali got the much needed rest her body required. She stroked her hair soothingly and hummed softly, more to comfort herself really. She'd been so frightened when she'd been dragged away and was a bit clingy at the moment.

Pyro was quite and looked out at the waves in deep reflection upon Aurora's words. He finally said, "You've taught your daughter well and with you're continued council, she'll be ready for anything. Even this threat from beyond, that dreadful Pariah. "

Bertram smiled happily and walked with Jackie. He glanced to the table and sat down. "You spoil me rotten, Jackie. Not that I'm complaining, mind you.Definitely not ." He teased her.

Valstrath slowed as he got the sensation of being watched. He looked around nervously and tried to find the source of the feeling. That was when he saw a small child in the distance with a red scarf covering most of his hair. He made a soft call to Slygotha in fear.

Razeth swam along oblivious to his brother's concerns, he was focused on controlling his stone.

Slygotha acknowledged Valstrath's warning, turning to look for that which he had seen. Her eyes fell upon an unassuming boy with limpid eyes that seemed to bore through all of them. Though he seemed so harmless and small, the intensity of his gaze made Slygotha's skin prickle. The fact that he was watching them as they swam underwater also seemed unusual to her.
Unsure, Slygotha rose from the waters, blowing water from her nostrils in a fine mist that framed her black skeletal snout in broken rainbows. Her eyes narrowed as she focused on the child. Without taking her eyes off it, she rumbled to her wyrmlings not to stray in case of other humans.
Nidhogg burrowed into the soft mud behind her mother.

Razeth and Valstrath followed Slygotha's instructions. Razeth however, chose to remain close to the bottom of the river instead of in the silt like his siblings.

Anubis followed Slygotha with his gaze as he ventured just a little bit closer. He then spoke with a heavily accented voice, " It was you who has kept me busy ushering lost souls into the afterlife. Just as I have watched the weighing of their hearts, only to find them wanting and unfit for the realm of our dead. Because of you, I am now plagued with their piteous whining. Explain this to me, so I can better understand this unbalance you have caused."

Slygotha's jaws parted, a low rumble escaping. Her brightly colored frills displayed her agitation. Realizing that this one was not what he seemed, she decided she had better feel out the situation first before making any moves. "If you are talking about the puny humans and dragonkin that attacked my nest while I was minding my own business, they got exactly what they deserved. But I didn't send enough to cause you problems, unless my mate wrought a line of destruction between our den and the place where those creatures took my Nidhogg, handling her like some common food animal. I only killed in self defense those that would have harmed myself and my brood." Slygotha puffed out her chest defensively.
Nidhogg, being a timid creature, nonetheless was slightly curious. Her nostrils and top part of her head and eyes surfaced silently, her leathery frill clamped down against her head so as not to bring attention to herself.
