Luce got up from the bed and went to wash her clothes out. In the process, she found the oak stick she had put in her pocket from the woods. She smiled and set it aside until she finished washing out her clothes. She then hung them over the shower curtain to dry. She then grabbed the stick and went back to her bed. Nashton was sound asleep in his bed. So she quietly got on top of the covers and set the stick down. She then changed into a squirrel and started chewing the stick. She enjoyed doing this, but this time she had a reason to do it.
