Cole was busing shoving food in his mouth when she asked. He froze and swallowed. "I was exploring."
Dust smirked. "Wolves are weak and foolish. They get in the way."

"How so?" River asked him.

Taylor peered into her glass with one eye. "Maybe I'll eat some stir fry before I drink anymore." She dished some food onto her plate. "And I'm not high strung I'm just a little......everything."

Nashton chuckled softly at her words. He shook his head and went back to eating.

"Have they ever gotten in your way? Because they never got in my way." She said, curious to know why he thought they were so bad.

Azure quieted at his bitter words. "I was brought up as a warrior. This is my chance to prove myself. If I fail, I fail my purpose in life." Her words made her anxious at the thought of letting her family down.

Degan glared at Azure and said in a dead tone. "I too was a warrior once. But that spirit has all but died, in my long captivity." He walked over to his chair, sat down and picked up his book.
