Dawn barked loudly again.

Aeval relaxed as the smell faded. "There must've been a portal back there. Have you ever met a fay creature?" She asked conversationally.

Navar had cleared the cave when something pounced on top of him. He yelled out is surprise, because he started attacking the large mountain lion. He was sure to keep his throat away from the snapping jaws.

Navar had cleared the cave when something pounced on top of him. He yelled out is surprise, because he started attacking the large mountain lion. He was sure to keep his throat away from the snapping jaws.

Dust shook his head. "No. I haven't."

Dawn attacked. Her body ramming into the lion's, throwing it off balance.

Rosie smiled and nodded then glanced over to check on the meal she was making "Yeah, I love fritters, they are my favorites" She said warmly then cam over to sit at the table "This is nearly done, if you want to eat before you sleep or leave, whichever you are planning" She added and smiled. "Chicken fried steaks with mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans"

Angela smiled and nodded "I would like that, and will try to come see you everyday" She promised softly.

Jason nodded then looked to her and smiled "Yeah, I think we have more here than most anywhere else" He said then kissed her temple before he moved to get up and talk to Jackie to take her to the room to sleep since it was so late already.

Zypher closed his eyes and took in a deep breath. "Oh, I do believe that is heaven in that kitchen. I'm going to have to have some of that. Well, if there's enough. If not, I'll live." He said that last part with a pout.

Nektar hugged Angela in pure happiness. It wasn't until he had her in his arms, did he realize, he should have asked permission to hug her. He released her, then stepped back, "I am so sorry! How truly rude of me to violate your personal space. Forgive me. I shall be better behaved in the future. I promise you Angela." He said solemnly.

Arran was laughing silently. He took everything so serious. But she waited to see what Angela would do.

While Jason was gone, Luce pulled out the mattress from the sleeper sofa. She got the pillows and blankets from the closest and made it up. Luce looked out side and grinned. Cadeon and Ember were out like a light in the chaise loungers. She shook her head as she climbed under the covers and got comfortable.

Kyra huffed and blinked, looking around herself groggily. She growled at the needle and her fur all poofed out as electricity built around her. If he touched her, he would get a shock. She couldn't direct the electricity yet, so it just built around her for the moment. 

He opened the cage and took some blood, not paying attention to the shocking. He withdrew his hand and closed the cage, glad that he successfully took her blood.

Aurelius slowly touched hie tail. She smiled at the feel of the scales. She hen withdrew her hand and rested them both in her lap. She watched him moving around and smiled again.

Graydon stepped out and went to go see Kyra. But the pen was empty. He looked to Luis alarmed. "Where is she?" He asked.

Rio just noticed how hungry he was. There was no sign of him eating at all in his snake form, which meant he should probably eat something. Being in a straight jacket and in a tiny cage made him completely ignore his hunger or thirst until now.

Luis looked alarmed for a moment, but calmed down quickly. "They must've taken her to the lab to take blood and such." He said simply.

Aeval sighed, "Then you are very lucky. The tried to capture me once. But that was when iron was everywhere. See iron is poisonous to the fay. It makes them weak and I ate them. But they were not that savory. So I avoid them now." She explained as they walked.

With the weight of the mountain lion off of him, Navar charged in for another attack to help Dawn.

Kyra growled at the man as he took her blood, standing wobbly then having to sit again when that failed. She hated these sleeping drugs that threw off her usual clarity. She let her tails touch the metal of the cage around her, making the whole thing electrified around her.

Aurelius was wondering what he was thinking. She sat quietly enjoying the moment when she got a vision. She gasped at what she saw. She couldn't see Markus's fate, but so many others she knew were now dead. She started crying uncontrollably. She crumbled to the floor and curled into a ball of pain and misery.

Graydon felt sick. He wanted to rush in there and save Kyra from that horror. But on the outside he remained calm.

Dawn locked her jaw's around the lion's leg. She looked at Navar pleadingly. She wasn't much of a fighter when it push came to shove. 

She smiled at Dust devilishly. "Hey, Dust. What's the strangest thing you've ever eaten?" Aeval asked curiously.

Navar went right for the back of the neck. He was no match for those claws and teeth. But breaking the spine, that was a safe way yo kill it. His hunger had set in. This was more then just protecting Amar, this was also survival. He grabbed ahold of the neck and started throwing his full weight into it, but he was to light to break it.
