Keldwyn stood up and smell the air. "This place has an odd smell, doesn't it?" She said off handedly.

Keely hid her smile. She was going to enjoy working with Marilyn. She often wished her horses could have talked with her, but now she has that opportunity with this amazing Pegasus.

Marilyn set the bottle of water down and went over to the corner. This is where she spent most of her time in the lab, sitting in the corner.

"All kinds of deceptive and nasty things. I believe it's right up your alley. But mainly human domination or destruction. You both have the temperament and the appetite for it. " Racine said with a sinister smile.

Aeval tipped her head with intrigue, "So I take it, you're not human and I don't think you are a shifter. What are you and why can't I get a scent from you?" She asked curiously.

Racine looked at her and said, "You're a Balaur. An eater of my kind, can you blame me for being cautious. I'm a Fairy, but I prefer to be called Racine. I know his name is Dust, so what is your given name?" He asked.

Aeval frowned a little as she looked him up and down. She smiled victorious at him. "Well, Racine, this Balaur, quite likes the taste of Fay. So keep that in mind, if you ever contemplate the thought of crossing us. My name is Aeval. Now drop that shield thing, I don't like being caged in." She said sternly.

Racine smiled pleasantly as he once again waved his hand to remove the barrier. "Done." He said with respect.

Dust trotted up to Aeval and sat next to her. He stared hard at this Racine. He like the idea of eating humans.

Earl hadn't noticed how many shifters there were until they were gone. No mythical creatures, either. His family would not eat enough without them, he had over 200 daughters and sons, one meal was more than 20 elk. He sighed and walked back to his cave, and his daughters and sons were confused when they saw no meal. "I have failed to get my family fresh meat." He began, and Eleanor noticed that he sounded disappointed in himself. "We need more food, for I refuse to rid this forest of its animals, because that would just be terrible, so I'm sure you all know what we must do." "Go to the city!" One of his sons said, sounding pleased. "Yes. Very good, Aragog. You all have been waiting for this moment. We will go tonight!" All the Acromantula's cheered, happy that they now could invade the city like house spiders...deadly, giant human eating house spiders. Eleanor couldn't wait, she had always wanted this moment to come. Earl's sadness was lifted off of him when he could tell they were happy and excited.

Luis unlocked the pen door and walked in. "I have good news, Kyra." Luis said as he placed a bowl of meat on the ground. "Would you like to hear it?" He asked.

The two guards quickly shut the cell door behind Vorsicht and locked it. They then escorted her to the waiting vehicle. Larks opened the back door and then the other caged in compartment, right next to Orson.

Orson looked over at her as they secured her in the seat. "Hello, there. I'm Orson. I'd shake your hand proper, but they seem to be shackled together." He stated plainly.

Keely frowned as she watched Marilyn. She had all the signs of a animal scared of large spaces, because it was closely confined into a small cell. She shook her head at that revelation, it also explained the feather picking, boredom. The only question was, how long had she lived like that? If she had to guess, she'd bet too long.

Aeval leaned into Dust. Comforted by his massive warm body. "Oh, now you have my full attention. Oh, how I miss medieval times. But we are not dealing with the arrows, swords ans spears, here. Their weapons are far more advanced." She pointed out the obvious.

Racine smiled at them both and said simply, " I have and endless supply of dark magic. They have to be at a certain range to use most of their firepower. Mine...not so much."
