Buchanan was quiet as he tried to store all of Carrow's knowledge in his head. He looked around his room please, and turned to Carrow before she left. "This will do, thank you."

Astrid grinned, but wondered quietly if he had made a decision yet.
(It should took them a really long time before they start to like eachother, since their different species.)
Skye jumped back in surpise. She squirmed when he pinned her against the ground and whimpered. Pulling her body backwards from underneath him on her elbows, she tried to get to her feet. Yet her legs shook with fear, and even though she wanted to run her whole body remained limp.
Carrow cocked her head intrigued by his choice of words. She then smiled and stepped out of the room quietly, while closing the door. She slowly walked back down the hall to go back to her studio.she needed to work a little on the painting in progress. She picked up a brush , but put it back down again. She sat quietly looking out the window. She had begun to feel sorry for herself the past few days. He agent had been asking about her progress on her new series. She had soothed his words and told him, art takes time. But she had lied, she just hadn't been in the mood to paint. She stood up and went to go out on the balcony. She unlocked, then opened the sliding glass door wide. She closed her eyes and extended her arms. She slowly walked out to the rail. In her mind she was flying. But she knew, this was as close as she was ever going to get to it. She was very thankful for the wind that dried her tears, as fast as they fell.

Raine was going to ask Astrid the big question, just as soon as they were alone. He didn't want to have to watch his words or actions. But for now, he walked along with Astrid.
