Mark snorted and turned away, pacing a little "How can you learn about the forest when it's not here anymore?"

June carefully carried her coffee to the bed and sat beside him.

Carrow giggled at his question. "Those massive monsters that humans use to move around in. Those are cars. I had told Nix, I didn't need one. But he insisted I buy one anyway. Then taught me how to drive it. As I have mentioned, I have been in this city a while. My wilderness is just a memory. After all, what good is an eagle who could not fly or a defencless human, walking alone in the woods? So I came here partly, so I wouldn't in danger the others. But mostly to live in my stronger form." She explained finally.
