Calum wrote a few numbers down on a piece of paper and handed it to him.
"It's scary," He said truthfully, though he tried to understand how it could be fun.

Astrid handed the tickets to a man as they entered. "The thing you smell is popcorn, would you like some?" She asked, noticing his interest.
Skye awoke. Feeling something at her feet she sat up to see Mark. She sighed, and laid her head back down.

Carrow slowed down to make a turn off the highway. She said absently, "I'm sorry, Buchanan. I could have done this alone. You could have stayed at the penthouse. I find, I keep forgetting that you are not accustomed, to the human ways." She paused as she looked behind her, seeing if it was clear to cut over into the right lane. "After all, a pocket knife is a fairly simple thing to get." She stated quietly. After a moment Carrow smiled at him and said, "It would seem, I have high-jacked your life and for that, I must apologize for." She then turned to looked out at the road, watching traffic. Mindlessly doing all the required lane changes and the proper turn signals to get them to their destination safely.

Raine smiled brightly at Astrid. then looked a little unsure, "I don't know, do you eat it? Does it taste as good as it smells?" He asked enthusiastically.

Tuktu woke up behind the hotel. "What had happened?" He asked himself. He was in his animal form for some reason, why? Faline was also in her animal form lying next to him. A small snip went through her ear, what the? Was that a mark? He looked closer at the snip in her ear as she slept. What is that from? Tuktu shook his head trying to remember what had happened last night. The memories weren't coming as fast as he had hoped but we're coming back to him. He was going to walk Faline about the park, then decided to go around the corner toward an alleyway... He spotted a group of men, scars and tattoos along there arms... tuktu stepped in front of Faline in case they decided to harm them... one the men looked at the both of them and gave a devilish grin, walking toward them, tuktu began to panic. He didn't want his fawn to get harmed so he head butted the man who was beginning to pull out a knife before being knocked down... automatically the leader knew they must have been shifters because, well what man headbutts another? The leader went at them both injecting them both with some sort of drug he kept in his jacket pocket. Both tuktu and faline automatically shifted to their animal form and couldn't turn back... the men held down Tuktu desperately trying to get to faline who was being held down by the leader, he took the knife and cut a small snip out of her ear. She winced in pain but thankfully there wasn't any blood. Tuktu also had his ear cut, then the leader stood while theme held them down. "You are animals and should stay that way! Stay out of our human lives and stay where you stinking animals belong!" The leader yelled at them both then lead his men away down the alley... Tuktu tried desperately to shift back but couldn't, he looked at faline who was shuffling toward him and snuggling into his fur...

Keira awoke with the sun on her face. She reached up to rub the sleep from her eyes. She slowly sat up, still stiff from the hard surface. She then looked around at the roof in the daylight. Well this was a good place to stay, for now anyway. She slowly stood up and stretched out her back muscles. She picked up her backpack and put it on. Okay, she had to find a few things before night fall. She headed over to the ladder to climb down, but she carefully peeked over the ledge, first. Not seeing anyone around, she quickly climbed down, until she reached the end of the ladder. She then dropped the last few feet to the ground, she landed with a grunt. She straightened up and started down the side street, until she came across a mainstream sidewalk. She then folded into the foot traffic. She looked all around her, in order to memorize landmarks, so she could find her way back.

Skye rolled over as she began to awake.

(Alright.)

Mark watched her then stood and moved off the bedding then stretched out before padding to the waterfall
Skye couldn't find her book when she reached out for it. Opening her eyes, she found it lying near her feet. Drawing it closer she held it to her chest, and then looked to where Mark had walked off. Did he read it? If so how much does he know about me? She wondered, worriedly.

Raine smiled brightly at Astrid. then looked a little unsure, "I don't know, do you eat it? Does it taste as good as it smells?" He asked enthusiastically.
Buchanan shook his head in disagreement. "I'm am glad to accompany you, though I am not used to riding in this 'car'. Please do not worry, Carrow, you have nothing to be sorry about. Besides, I would like to pick out the pocket knife myself." He thought for a moment, wondering if he should continue or not. "I have tried your way, Carrow. Now you must try mine. After we pick out a knife I would like you to walk me to the city border, then I can carry you to the mountains in my natural form." He smiled, remembering how much he missed traveling on his paws.
~
Astrid grinned inwardly, but told him in a very serious voice, "Yes, it is very delicious. Definitely something you must try." Walking over to the counter she ordered some popcorn, and after giving the man some money received a bag. She turned to Raine, and held the popcorn.

Carrow remained quiet until she reached the strip mall with the pawn shop. She glided into a parking spot and cut the engine off. She sat there a moment before replying, "Buchanan, I must be honest, I'm not sure you'll be safe around me. That human I was talking about, Nix. He could become a problem. I just don't want you to get caught in the crossfire. I really don't know what he's capable of. The look on his face tonight.....that has bothered me ever since we drove away. You tempt me greatly, but it has been so long since I've lived in the wild. I'm very worried about you and very scared for myself." She looked over at him, with a light sheen of tears in her golden eyes.

Raine watched Astrid's face, as he reached out and got one yellow ball thing. He slowly brought it to his mouth and placed it on his tongue. His eyes went wide and then closed in pure enjoyment. He slowly chewed it, when he swallowed, he smiled again. "Wow! You were absolutely right. That is so delicious." He said happily.
