Sandor's ears picked up movement outside his door. He quietly stood up and opened the door. That when he heard the window open and shimmy closed again. He walked over to it and watched Autumn going down the fire escape. He knew he should have answered her question. Now she was leaving. He felt a sadness over take himself. What should he do. Follow her and talk her into coming back, or let her go?
 
"I wouldn't be surprised if you were a bird, you have the brain of one." One of Emerald's cell mates said. "Birds are highly intelligent, more than you think, also, I bet you aren't too smart either." She punched him in the face, he started bleeding. She kept beating him and the other people were too scared to go near her. She was taking all her anger out on a man who wasn't involved in the cutting down of the woods. She beat him until guards came and took her away, throwing her in her own cell. "You're insane!" A guard shouted at her. "You could've seriously injured him! You have no good place in society, you lunatic!" He left to see if her cell mate was okay. She was now alone, nothing to do but sit on a metal bench or a hard bed.

(Now she's alone because she badly injured one, but you can be the cell mate of the really injured guy so your character can think about what happened and why and stuff.)

Emerald grabbed the bars of her cell. "Let me out you animal murder-" she covered her mouth, she couldn't say that they cut down the forest, basically admitting that she deeply cared about that forest. I mean, it had no human life in it, they'd find out sooner or later. She was embarrassed and sat back down. "Ha, looks like that lunatic finally settled down, huh?" Someone said while bandaging up the injured man, another man nodded and smirked.
 
Autumn sat down across the table from the girl."What is your name?" She was sure that she was from moonhaven, but wasn't ready to bring it up yet.

"Hi Natalie." Autumn smiled at the girl. Thinking for a minute she decided to ask, not wanting to hang around too long if she was a typical human. "Where are you from?"
 
It started to get dark. Emerald would be a emu by night when everyone was asleep, she had so many feathers that it'd warm her up in this cold cell.
