As soon at the door was unlocked Nashton ran in, to untie Luce. She looked up and hugged him hard. She stated tearing at the binding at her ankles. "We got to go! We have to get out of here. This guy Axel, wants our ability to shift. He is almost manic about it." She explained. Finally free she got up and started pushing Nashton toward the door. "Hurry!" She then looked at Jason. "Who are you?"

"Jason, now I think that's everyone we can get to here" He said, looking around and frowning "She's right, let's go" He said, looking towards the other door then moving back to the hallway where Anna and the other rescued shifters were (For anyone else who wants their charrie rescued right now, lol)

Mixie did the same. She had never eaten at a restaurant before, it almost completely drove her mind away from the thought of him catching shifters.
(She is easily distracted XD)

Zypher glanced up at Mixie, then returned his gaze back to the menu. As the waitress came over, Zypher said, "Hello, how are you? I don't know about my companion here, but I'd like to try the superior sushi platter, with all the available sauces. Ice water will be fine. Thank you." He folded up the menu and handed it to the waitress. Then asked, "Mixie, what would you like to have? They have a wonderful vegetable garden stir fry, it's very savory." He smiled nicely.

Luce followed after them. "Thank you for helping my brother. It's nice meeting you, Jason." She said with gratitude.

Nashton quietly ran with the group. The couldn't wait to get out of here. He wasn't celebrating anything until they cleared that fence and was in the woods.

Cadeon saw them coming out of the infirmary he breathed a sigh of relief. He then started heading back the way they'd come.

Zypher glanced up at Mixie, then returned his gaze back to the menu. As the waitress came over, Zypher said, "Hello, how are you? Mixie thought for a moment and then said "I think I'll have the vegetable garden stir fry and water, that sounds good." She gave the folded up menu to the waitress.

"But it's my idea," She said, stomping her foot dramatically. She tried to keep a straight face but bursted out laughing.

"Yes," Buchanan agreed, he felt tired, and wanted to return home as much as Carrow did. But knew that first they would have to settle the fawn in.

"About six months," Sonora replied without hesitance. "Mountain lions travel alone, so when the forest was torn down I moved to the city and tried to make a life for myself..."

Amar sat quietly on the log and patiently waited for him. She looked at him scared as she gave him her hand. She trusted him with all her heart now, but she knew that even when he cleaned her hand to help her that it would hurt no matter what... And that made her stomach turn.

Raine tilted his head and said, "Okay, I shall never skip again. That way you can be the sole owner of the concept. " He then smiled proudly at his thought.

Carrow reached the apartment building and pulled into the parking garage. She parked in her usual spot and then got out. She opened the trunk and gathered the bags. She then went aroud to open the back door for Buchanan. That way he could get the fawn out easier. "The poor little dear. She must have been exhausted." She said as she looked at her sleeping form.

Keira glanced over at Sonora, when she stopped. She looked around alarmed. But seeing nothing, she asked, "What is it?"

Navar got the numbing cream and applied a generous amount around the rock. He then gave it time to work. He asked her a simple question, "What kind of shifter are you?" As she answered, he quickly pulled the rock out. Navar put some gauze over the wound and applied some pressure, to stop the bleeding. He then looked up at her and said, "Now, when it stops bleeding a bit, we'll clean out the wound. That will allow the numbing to take effect. You're doing really good. You just have to be strong a little longer." He the pulled back the gauze to check it's progress. Seeing it had slowed but not stopped, he got a new gauze and swapped it out.

"Thank you!" She said sticking out her chin. Astrid began to giggle, then hushed and looked to the humans. But the funny faces that they shot at the couple only made her laugh harder.

Buchanan smiled, "Yes, it must been very scary and confusing to be alone in the world at such a young age." He unbuckled her then held her against his shoulder as he carefully crawled out of the car, making sure not to hit her head. Looking at Carrow he lovingly said in a gentle voice. "I'm glad that she has someone like you to love her as a mother would. I wouldn't know how to comfort her, but it seems to come to you naturally. "

Sonora slowed looked to her, "You remember how you told me that you have lived up here? Well my panther sense tells me that were not safe." She sighed, that must sound very funny. "I know it's weird, but I can sense that something bad is about to happen before it does." She shook her head and looked away.

"Unicorn!" She cried with a squeak as she held back a scream. Looking away she held back tears. Her hand shook furiously, as did the rest of her body, and her hand twitched at the pressure that he applied to her palm. She nodded at his instruction, and bit her lip to keep from sobbing. "I can't move my fingers," She said in a soft, sad voice turning to look him in the eye. "I think a bone broke." With that said she quickly looked down at the ground.

Axel threw her into a cold, dark, empty cell and slammed the door shut behind him.

Axel locked the door and left without a word.

Diaval followed Mariam, slowing to look at everything.

"Mark, I need to tell you something." She sighed again and closed her eyes. There was a lot that Mark needed to know about her, but it was hard for her to put them into words... Or share it with anyone but herself.

 

Mark looked to her then went over and took her hand in his then led her to sit against the wall with him "Well, we have time" He said and smiled at her

She sighed. "When I was three years old my father was shot. The police never found out who killed him, even though there were several witnesses, and later the body disappeared from the police department. One witness was a older man who would come to my mother asking if he could see me, and should would always send him away, and kept me hidden from him. She never told me why, but I knew that she thought he was dangerous." She looked up a Mark to see if he was listening, and took a break to take a breath.

(Of course I do! I love our characters together their so cute. Sorry I missed your posts, whenever I got back on after a while I check every page so that I don't miss anything, yet I still manage to miss a lot :/ It's hard to keep up sometimes. )
