Angela moved over to her to cradle her head in her lap. She shook her head sadly even as she stroked her hair back softly. "But they are dead too" She whispered then started to hum gently, wanting to make her feel better.

Anna smiled and nodded. She buckled and glanced back at the others again. 

Ember looked around the van as they prepared to leave the mountains to go to the city.

 
Jason glanced to him then started the uhaul to lead them back home again. 

Aurelius stilled and looked up at Angela. "Amar is the key. She is the last pure blooded unicorn shifter. Her bloodline goes all the way back. Markus must not get her." She pleaded softly.

Zypher followed after Jason. He was ready to get home.

Navar felt in his heart he was making a mistake. He looked over at Jason and said, "Stop! I can't leave her." He reached into his pocket and pulled out his apartment keys. "Here, take these and use my place until I come back. I have to stay with her. I feel it deep inside. I have to keep her safe." He explained to his friend as he got out of the Uhaul.

Zypher followed after Jason. He was ready to get home.

Navar felt in his heart he was making a mistake. He looked over at Jason and said, "Stop! I can't leave her." He reached into his pocket and pulled out his apartment keys. Angela frowned then nodded, accepting that as she glanced tot he black unicorn and the phoenix then looked to Aurelis again. How would this help? She was as trapped here as the others were. She was frowning then shook her head "Where's a snake when you need one?"

Anna frowned when Jason stopped,wondering what was going on now. She smiled a little when Navar got out and headed back to Amar then looked to Zypher.

Jason took the keys from him and watched him leave, frowning but making no move to stop him from leaving. He understood gut instinct more than some and wouldn't stop the other male from following his. He set off again once Navar was clear only to stop and park, leaning out to call to Navar "Hey, you taking any weapons, just in case?"

Mia walked beside her.

They arrived at her house. Carly was on the porch reading the newspaper and she saw them. "Carly, this is Mia, a ferret. Mia, this is Carly, my best friend." Ember said. Carly got up and walked over to them, "Hello Mia. Nice to meet you." She said nicely and held out her hand.

"They want humans to be able to shift, likely to make warriors for this country" Angela said and shrugged, sitting down also. 

"I wonder why they didn't just get us on their side. Plus, it was done on animals, not humans." She said. Lots of humans weren't too bright, she noticed.

Angela frowned then nodded, accepting that as she glanced tot he black unicorn and the phoenix then looked to  Aurelis again. How would this help? She was as trapped here as the others were. She was frowning then shook her head "Where's a snake when you need one?"

Zypher grinned happily at Anna and said, "Smartest thing he's done all day. You never leave the girl. Not once you find her." He smiled knowingly at Anna.

Navar turned at Jason's words and pulled out his two 38 specials. "This is all the firepower I'll need." He said confidently. "Hey, you stay away from Eleanor! She's not a two guy gal." He teased him.

Aurelius looked at Angela wide-eyed and said, " Rio is a snake. But he has turned his back on the spirit snakes. Maybe he could get the message out. I don't know. I can ask him." She said quietly as she closed her eyes to stop the screams.

Arran looked over at Angela and signed. "Do you think the snakes will help?"

Aurelius slowly sat up. Testing her control. Feeling much improved. She stood up and looked at them all and said, "I shall go talk to Rio now. I'll be back with what ever news I have." She slowly walked to the cell door to leave.

Arran looked over at Angela and signed. "Do you think the snakes will help?"

"Be careful" Angela said as she watched her walk out. She hoped she would be alright. "The snakes help themselves, and this affects us all, so they should help" She said then shrugged.

Anna returned his kiss before sitting back in her seat and glancing to Cadeon. She blushed some, but held his gaze "Yes, I suppose it does"
