History: Beware, kelpie's may appear as a tame mare beside a river or lake. But take care, once your are on her back, its sticky magical hide will not allow you to dismount! Once ensnared, the kelpie will drag you into the water and drown you or eat you. They love to lure young men to their death. They possess magical powers to summon water to sweep humans to a watery grave. They also make unearthly wailing or howling sounds that warn of approaching storms. But they have a weak spot – her bridle. Anyone who can get hold of a kelpie’s bridle will have command over her and any other kelpie. For a captive kelpie is said to have the strength of 10 horses and the stamina of even more, so they are highly prized.
Personality: I think the history explained her pretty much.

Anna got her glass of tea then some of the food from the meat eaters side on her plate, waiting for the others to get theirs before she started eating.Nashton started bringing out the large bowls of stir fry, fried rice, white rice and fried noodles. He put the meat one by the carnivores and the vegetable by the vegetarians. While the omnivores could sit in the middle. "One fried rice has egg in it. The other doesn't. Vegan this side, carnage this side. Ice tea good for everyone? There is some more juice, if not." He explained.
Zypher nodded and said, "Thank you, Nashton. Everything looks and smells wonderful. Tea and juice sounds good, but you sit down, you've done enough. We can pour it ourselves."
Nashton smiled pleasantly and nodded as he took a set in the middle of the table and patted the seat next to him on the carnivores side for Taylor.
Zypher then got up to get the two extra chairs from the storage room and set them at the table. He always liked the way a banquet table looked when he bought it. Now he was glad he had it, not just for looks, but for his large family. He nodded to the others and reclaimed his chair by Anna.

Cadeon walked over to the table with Ember. "Moment of truth, Ember. What side do you fall on or are you in the middle?" He asked her curiously.

Luce sat towards the middle. Being an omnivore. She glanced around shyly, most didn't know that about squirrels.

Raine insisted on perching on the back of Astrid's chair. He didn't need to eat a lot in this form. Plus, he secretly loved the idea of Astrid slipping him a bite here and there.

Ashton giggled softly at Estelle's expression. "That is priceless. The look on your face." She explained to her.
(So sorry it took so long. Had to wrangle up my wild kittens and put them to bed.)
Ember smiled at Cadeon then shrugged "Omnivore, I can eat either at least in this form" She said. She would sit near the middle

Estelle calmed and looked at her tilting her head a little. "I have never seen anything like what you just did. It was funny" She said and smiled naturally. That showed her teeth but her eyes were still kind.
Jackie had to shake her head at that. She looked at Cole again "You are strange for a human. Most start doing that evil eye thing or run away when I admit to what I am"

Zypher got himself some food and tea. He waited until Anna started eating.
Cadeon nodded and moved to the middle of the table with her. He pulled out a chair for Ember. Then nodded to Astrid and Raine, as he to the seat beside Ember.
Luce dished up some fried rice, stir fry and juice. You did not want to see a squirrel with caffeine. She grinned at the thought.

Though it was really late, River was still swimming and wide awake. She got onto a boulder that was just above the water and looked at the sky which had no stars since there were so many clouds covering them.
