Aeval glanced back up and looked down again. "I can't see any sign of them from up here. They had to have ran the whole way." She stated simply.

"Exactly like that, you're a natural!" Aurelius said proudly. She smiled reassuringly at Zia as she went back to looking for more pieces that fit, as she laid out the pieces from the box. "It is sometimes easier to build the boards first. But you don't really have to." She explained further.

Degan watched them in silence for a while. Before he inched over to them.

"I found out when I was really young. My mom was a shifter and did her best to keep it from me for my protection. She was really good at it and as far as I knew, I was only a dog. One day, we were walking next to a road...and she got hit...I guess my emotions took over and that's when I first shifted. Mere words cannot convey my sympathy. Fay's are Immortal. So any act that causes loss of life, is dealt with harshly and swiftly. Which consequently, make death felt more deeply." She explained to Dawn.

Aeval circled around in an attempt to try to find them. When she was over head again she asked, "Where do you think they are going? Surely their not going back to the city."

Degan reached out and placed a piece in place. He smiled at the simple joy of it. Sad that he felt a sense of accomplishment. It was a simple puzzle for goodness sake.

Aurelius smiled at Zia in a conspiring way and winked at her. She then looked at her watch and said, "My, look at the time. I'm going to have to leave you to it Zia. I promise to stop back by real soon. I'll be anxious to see your progress." She got up and head for the door, but paused and watched. Degan soon took the chair she had been using. She waved goodbye to Zia, before she left.

Cadeon grinned at the two youngsters. He was happy for Taylor and Nashton. But they were so Awkward together. But he could see they were good for eachother. "Yeah, I've noticed that." He watched Nisha walk away. Cadeon looked back at Ember and said, " It seems there will always be another fight. The humans have a phrase, 'freedom ain't free.' Now I understand it." He looked back out the window," But with the help of dragons, we may stand a chance. First Nightmare, now these."

Aurora dipped her head "I must make a spell to block magic from you. It won't last forever, but should give you time to do what you need to. It depends on his true strength." She said then smiled "It won't affect your shifting, since that magic is a part of who you each are"

Rosie nodded and moved to help him up so she could take him back to his bed for some rest.

Nisha nodded, sitting down on the couch. "Don't worry about me walking on it. When I get hurt its only in one form thanks to whoever genetically mutated me." She rolled her eyes.

"That is odd, but good, you will need to be in your hurt form though, so get comfortable" Jackie said and brought over a bowl for her to drink the potion from 

Nisha nodded and shifted. She hissed in pain and tried not to move. The bone had snapped clean and the end was trying to break through her skin. She lapped up the potion and quickly fell asleep.

Nashton's eyes flared open briefly at the feel of Taylor's lips. He had hope she would kiss him, but the reality of her sweet kiss, was soul affirming. She was his reason for living, his everything. When the kiss ended, he looked at her breathless. Shaken to the core of his being. He smiled sheepishly at Taylor and uttered the only word on his mind, "Wow!"
