Fable swung her head violently and let him go. She backed up and barked loudly to scare them off. She started feeling tired but she didn't stop barking just yet.

The worker stumbled backwards, clutching his arm. The other worker waited, knowing she would fall asleep soon.

"Okay. Here's what it says; Beware, kelpie's may appear as a tame mare beside a river or lake. But take care, once your are on her back, its sticky magical hide will not allow you to dismount! Once ensnared, the kelpie will drag you into the water and drown you or eat you. They love to lure young men to their death. They possess magical powers to summon water to sweep humans to a watery grave. They also make unearthly wailing or howling sounds that warn of approaching storms. But they have a weak spot – her bridle. Anyone who can get hold of a kelpie’s bridle will have command over her and any other kelpie. For a captive kelpie is said to have the strength of 10 horses and the stamina of even more, so they are highly prized.

Danika smiled and went to the stump then looked at her before focusing on the finish line tree. "Ready?"

Castiel turned to look at Arran surprised by what she had said. "This Markus will not know I did this. I can keep your secret." He explained to Arran. He nodded to Angela and Andromeda as he cupped his hands in front of his mouth. He then started whispering fay softly into his hands. As he spoke the words, a bright golden light started to glow and form a small sphere. "Now Arran, you simply have to open you mouth wide." Castiel whispered to her.

Arran looked at his hands nervously. She found herself reaching out and taking ahold of Angela's hand, for courage. She then, very slowly opened her mouth to him.

Castiel smiled reassuringly at them, as he tipped his hands towards her. To guide the golden sphere as it floated into her mouth. When it reached her throat, it's light erupted into a pulse of bright light. Which caused her throat to illuminate from within. When the light dissipated, Arran gasped out, "That was the strangest feeling I've ever felt." At her own words, she covered her mouth with her hand. She then giggled in merriment. "Thank you, Castiel. To me, you will always be a angel to me." She said softly.

Castiel smiled and bowed his head. "I was a pleasure to help you, Arran." He said with respect. He then went back to the cart to sample more food.

Angela grinned happily "This is wonderful Arran. Thank you Castiel" She said. She was excited that Arran could speak now. She shifted to fly around a little before landing on her shoulder and nuzzling close to her.

Lyra heard a barking dog in the forest and flew closer for a better look. She saw a couple of men fighting off a big white dog and landed in a tree to watch curiously.
