Aaran finally sighed and drifted off to sleep. More training in the morning.

Taylor grinned and reached for his hand.

Kristen waited quietly beside Orson.

Enoch went back to the war room. As he walked in, a few of the other generals looked over at him. He didn't acknowledge them, he simply went to his spot at the long table and sat down.

Tutus excused himself from the others and walked over to Enoch. "I've heard you're taken on a fledgling. If you need a spearing partner, all you do is ask. The kid has potential, it just needs a direction. I'm glad you are teaching him and not someone else. " He knew that Enoch would get the underlying meaning.

Enoch looked up at Tutus and nodded his gratitude for the offer. "Thank you, that is generous of you. I may take you up on that." He said quietly.

Tutus moved to take a seat beside him. He glanced around before he spoke again. "The rumor is that Racine wants him to cross over with him to Anstopfia. He'll stop at nothing to get that unicorn back. Beware brother, Thorn has it out for him and now you. You don't want to be on his list. You seen how it worked out for Avdnck."

Enoch looked over at Tutus and said, "I know well his deceit and wrath. But I must do right by Aaran. He is a good kid, stuck in a bad situation."

Tutus nodded his agreement with him.

Nashton squeezed her hand affectionately and said, "That was quite amazing how toy can separate your forms. I wish I could do that."

Orson smiled sweetly at Kristen as Jackie explained the portal.

Taylor laughed,"Trust me, it's cooler to be normal. Being normal would be like a dream!"

Kristen smiled back at him, happy to now have his attention. "Ready?"

Jackie took a moment then stood up to rejoin the others. She greeted Don like he was an old friend then listened to the repeated question. "No, portals are just like stepping through a door, they don't have a physical effect other than that you are in a new place, and the fey portals have an inbetween space, a white nothingness." She said then shrugged "Or so I have heard."

Anna looked to him and smiled a little then leaned over to give him a quick kiss. "I don't think their spellcaster is here, otherwise they would already be on us" 


Estelle nodded and smiled at him again "You met some? That's cool, I never met humans till I came here"

"As you pointed out, fire is destructive too, and they might have been trying to protect their homes, I do not know" Kyra said and shrugged "Though, being humans, they might of been just trying to control it"

"I don't, it just caught me off guard" Star said and sighed then tilted her head a little "She tasted the magic?" She didn't know how that had happened, since she only touched the amulet

Rosie flushed and sighed "I'm glad we didn't, but we could have been. I'm not good at the guarding part, father always said so" 

Orson listened intently to Jackie. An inbetween space? That sounded interesting and useful. He then asked, "So when do we do the perception glamor? I'm not sure I can act feminine, but I'll give it a shot." Orson stated with some humor. He then grinned at Kristen.

Zypher nodded, "Yes, they are probably fortifying the entrance. If not evacuating. " He said in thought.

Bertram smiled as he said, "Kelpie, especially the males move around a lot. The females usually stay in the waters of their birth."

Graydon gently put do the pinecone and walked over to Kyra. "The humans are arrogant enough to think they control all things natural. But really it's only a lesson in futility." He said quietly.

Ender thought of a way to best explain it to Star. "When I said, 'tasted the magic', I ment that she drew some of the magic from the amulet within herself and analyzed it." He said.

Ericsson scoffed at her words. "I don't believe that for one second. Now stop being so hard on yourself. You have been, go, go ,go, since I've got here. There is nothing wrong with taking a break." He replied honestly.

Calystia gratefully took the plate handed to her.

"Thank, you." Idris couldn't bring herself to look at him, no one had ever done something like that for her. She wondered how she could repay him, because she didn't understand friends did things for eachother, without payment. She quickly looked up as the last sentence registered. "What do you mean?" Suddenly she remembered how he had been a fox earlier, and again she was confused as she tried to understand.

"Anyone would have done the same." Azure replied, Vaughan making her feel special even though she hadn't really done anything for him.

(Time skip to morning?)

Raymer reclaimed his seat and started eating. He hadn't realized how hungry he was until now. Then it occurred to him. "You do eat cheese? It's an animal products and some is in this." He asked before she ate too much.

"Come now, you're a smart girl. I believe you know what I mean. Just as you are like me. Well, in the since that you are two natured. The question is what breed. I whish they would have been forth coming with that gem if information. It could be quite useful. They seem to fear it, so perhaps they would run from it again." He thought out loud.

Navar rolled over in his sleep and his half awake state, caught the dark silhouette and he came fully aware in seconds. "What? Who are you and what do you want?" He demanded alarmed.

The Sylph bowed his head and said formally, " I am to gaurd the Princess Amar and her intended. By the queen's orders. I do apologize for your interrupted sleep."

Navar let out a sigh of relief. "Well, it's not to be helped, when a stranger in looming in the corner of the room, in a strange place." He explained nicely.

Andromeda quickly down her food, while Kareena slowly ate like the bird she was.

Castiel looked over at Andromeda and said, "You can have all you desire. You must rebuild your strength. "

Dawn smiled and rolled her eyes. "If you plan on keeping it that long you might as well have Absmi do your hair as well." She joked.

Zia yawned and managed to sprawl out over his shoulder like a sheep on a shepherd's. She soon fell asleep.

Justice opened the heavy iron door and shoved her  inside the arena. Dust was there as well and his chains have been removed. Justice didn't remove her chains before the door slammed shut and locked. Pandora and Dust weren't the only ones in there. A few dogs roamed about, probably there to break up fights between captives or be eaten.

Jackdaw went along with the joke. "Well, if you think there's time." He said as he made to walk back to the room.

Degan chuckled to himself at Zia. He was fine with being her bed. He watch after her while she slept.

Pandora fell to the ground at the absence of Justice's support. Fuming with rage and hatred, she looked around herself. That's when she saw the three dogs sniffing around Dust. She roared at then. It might have seemed strange for such an unearthly serpentine roar to come from such a small human form. But it had the desired effect. The dogs scattered. She then started dragged herself over to Dust. She was exhausted the time she got there. She could only stretch out on her back, next to his Warg form and look at the massive cage.

I can shoot a gun, beat up bad guys, and I have you. That's all I need. It isn't much but it's me. And I greatly appreciate those things."

Aaran sleepily rubbed his eyes. It was still dark, but he couldn't fall back asleep. He had gone to bed too early. He got out of bed and started to walk around the halls, looking for something to amuse himself. He walked along, peeking into doors when he saw Elina's room. He stared in, happy to watch her sleep. Thorn stood in his doorway and stared at Aaran. "Getting an eyeful are you?" He asked darkly.
