It's just for training, once I'm through with Thorn, I'm done. I could return it afterwards."

Taylor laughed at his expression,"Well Mr. Optimist, I'll do my best. And my best is pretty good. It's just cutting hair, right? How hard could it be?"

Kristen smiled,"You're loosening up but put one foot in front of the other! Girls generally walk like they're on a tightrope. Just pretend you're on a tightrope."

Elina stopped suddenly. She then tipped her head and asked, "When you're through with Thorn? Is that the only reason you are taking this undertaken?"

Nashton grinned widely at her and said, "Alright, Captain! If you think you can do this, then I'm game."

Orson looked at Kristen dryly and asked, "A tight rope? Is that how you get that sexy shimmy? " He then smiled happily at her.

"Not necessarily, but when I beat him then I think the rest of my problems will solve themselves. I am considering trying to become a general but that's not going to happen." He confessed and stopped with her,"I don't have the stomach for it, and even if I warmed up to the idea, the king would never choose me. After I beat him I guess I'll go back to being a servant." He shrugged,"And that's not too bad right?" He sounded like he was trying to convince himself more than anything. "I want the respect that comes with being a general." He couldn't believe he was telling her all this, but he felt like he could trust her.

Kristen blushed,"I'm just giving you an idea of what to do. Just do it and stop teasing!" She massaged her forehead to hide her blush and smile. She liked it when he teased her but she had to act serious.

Jackdaw frowned as he looked around. The levity had changed slightly. Something had happened. He looked over at the group around the Queen. He looked to Dawn concerned. "You don't think they know about me do you?" He inquired quietly.

Degan walked over to that table and chairs. He took a seat and waited for the rescue.

Pandora released the control to her sister as Aeval glanced around them. She stepped back and shifted. She stumbled a little, still a little uncoordinated. She went to the cage wall and tested the metal.

"I hope not..." Dawn said, although she was ready to shift and protect if something happened. She looked at the Queen and wished Absmi was here to possibly explain what was happening.

Zia dropped to the floor and shifted. "I want to leave. Why are we still here?"

Dust got the last of the chains off and stood. He walked over to them and studied their cage. "What's with the dogs?" He asked glancing at the pack.

Graydon was fascinated by all the information. He intently listened to Kyra. "Druids? What or who are they? I apologize for my ignorance on such matters." He replied softly.

Falkirk looked up to Star and said, "That we can't understand. Just as his presence was not at the formal meeting. As far as Avalon can decipher, the spell he tried to used was a trance spell. It would have left you unaware of what was happening to you. That is why the pendant protected you. It is considered unfavorable to use such a spell aginst another fey, but it's not punishable. I honestly don't understand why he would do that to you."

Ender spoke up and said, "That prince has no honor. He isn't well liked among the royal court. That's the thing about being invisible, Sylph's can hear all kinds of things."

Ericsson chuckled and shook his head. "You have no idea about how determined I can get. I don't believe you. You are hiding your tickle spot. The question is where. I think the feet is the next obvious spot to check." He said with determination.

Aurora stood and walked over to Orson "If you two are finished, we should get going" She said then looked over to Estelle, who would be staying behind here.

"Dryad, not druid. Dryads are forest spirits to the humans, while druids are humans with some magic abilities." Kyra explained and smiled "How would you know, humans don't talk aout either much and what they do know is mostly twisted around"

Star shook her head and frowned "I don't understand, but I don't like this" She said and went to Falkirk's side "If he's my intended, why would he use any spell on me?" She shook her head again then looked to Falkirk again "Can we just go to the waterfall again? He's likely gone for now, isn't he?"

It's more then we had a while ago." He looked at her with caring eyes. Captivity was so new to her. He could understand her hurry.

Aeval glanced at the pack of dogs and sneered. " I suppose it's either be killed or be eaten. I'm not sure yet. But the Romans had games like that. But they were mostly lions and humans that were pitted aginst each other." Focusing on the cage metal again, she said, "I believe my acid could eat through this metal in time."

Orson obediently followed after her. Still holding onto His own hand that was now his beloved Kristen. He made sure to walk like he was on a tightrope with extra flare. He grinned up at Kristen/Orson.

Falkirk frowned again, not sure how to answer her questions. He decided upon, "I know not, why he would do such. You will have to ask him, when we find him. It was said, that he grew to be furious and bitter when you're parents fled. Maybe he is still angry and is taking it out on you now." Falkirk grew silent as he stepped back. Gathering himself, bowed his head and snapped his heels together, in a formal gesture to Star. After a moment, he said with great hope, "Please, Princess Star, let me be your champion. For if you allow me the right to fight for your hand. Even if you didn't feel that way about me. I would fight to free you from this fey. Then I'll step aside, so that you are free to choose your hearts choice. " He stayed in that position, waiting for her reply with baited breath.

Ericsson smiled widely. Her response was promising. He had struck a nerve. "Yes, obvious spot. My mother had very ticklish feet. Almost to the point she would kick you through a wall, if you caught her unaware." He explained as he slowly moved after her.

The Sylph stopped in front of Dawn and bowed his head. "Lady Dawn, I'm to serve as you personal Sylph. There has been an attempt on Princess Star. So Avalon is taking no chances with any of you." He raised his head and was about to hand here a protection pendant, when he noticed she already had one. "From where did you get that?" He asked curiously.

Jackdaw held his tongue. He didn't want to draw attention to himself. He just hoped she didn't say from Jackdaw. He hoped she would call him by a different name.

Degan looked at Zia in pure shock. "YOU DON'T SAY!!! I never would have guessed that about you." He replied stunned. But he broke out in a little chuckle.

Aeval waited until Dust shifted and then started spitting the acid upon the joints in the cage welds. She was pleased to see it bubble up white and making that telltale sizzling sound.
