He blushed a deeper red but he kept eye contact this time. He protectively stroked her cheek then grinned,"But I think I did okay."

Taylor sighed,"Who wouldn't like you? You're cute, attractive, funny, smart, kind, gentle, and you make me ramble on about how great you are! And I need to have you forever, so don't you think I'm going to let my guard down!"

Kristen stepped through the portal and glanced at everyone. "Okay let's go!"

Elina smiled reverently. "Aaran, you did more then, 'Okay'. You delivered the best kiss I have ever received. " She admitted on a whisper. She then nuzzled her cheek into his palm. As she looked to him, she placed a velvet kiss on his wrist. "You have done something to me, I know not what. But you draw me to you. Like a moth to a flame. She knows not why she seeks the warmth of the light, but that she must. Will you be my destruction or my salvation? Only time will tell. But with you, Aaran, it will be worth the wait." She whispered softly.

Orson followed after Kristen. He looked over at the others. He saw Aurelius and it began to make sense. But he was confused by Ashton's presence.

Not to mention Thorn wants you." Aaran said darkly, trying to hide his anger. "You should try to stay away from him. He has something planned." He was feeling so possessive of her, she was his now and he wouldn't let one stupid General change that. He protectively wrapped an arm around her so that no one could take her.

Taylor scowled teasingly,"Don't try me. But yes, that is a good guess." She smiled,"Hook, line, sinker, the fishing pole, and the guy who was holding it." She laughed unable to keep her face straight,"That's more accurate."

Anna looked up and smiled "And here's our exit" She said then looked around at the others in the room with her. She would let them leave first, since they were civilians, and she wasn't done here

Estelle stood, hiding a little behind Bertram when the portal opened. She had never seen anything like this before. 

Ember chuckled and went to the portal, going through and looking at the rescuers "Hello again" She said cheerfully. 

Angela took Arran's hand and stayed close to her human friend. She didn't want any misunderstandings to bring her harm.

Zypher exhaled a breath of relief. "It works! I had my doubts." He picked Anna up and twirled her around excitedly. When he set her back on her feet, he kissed her passionately, before walking away calmly.

Bertram smiled at Estelle and said, "Shall we leave this dungeon? " He gently took Estelle's hand and slowly walked over to the portal.

Cadeon caught sight of Ember and ran for her. "Oh, thank goodness you're alright! I was worried sick about you. I couldn't find where you had gone." He embraced her tightly.

Arran appreciated Angela's thoughtfulness. She was very sacred of the rough looking shifters that were coming into the room.

Calystia looked up from her food to try and figure out why he was so thoughtful, then got up and took the dishes to the kitchen.

"How, how do I change?" She asked curouisly. "I wonder why I changed that day a few months ago, when I didn't even know I could, or how to..." She thought outloud as the thought came to her.

Calystia's movement pulled Raymer out of his thoughts. He got up to go help. "I'll do that. You shouldn't be up on you foot. I apologize, old memories got hold of me. Who knew, I was a sentimental sob. " He said jokingly.

Sandor glanced around them before continuing, "You probably shifted because you were scared and felt like you couldn't protect yourself. So your animal form stepped forward, to do the job for you. As far a shifting, it's better to know what you are. That way you can envision your animal self and shift into her."

Navar was glad to see the sky finally starting to lighten. He watched in wonder as the blackness gave way to magenta. It was very strange to not see a blue sky. But at least it was a visual reminder that they were definitely not on earth any longer. He walked back into the bedroom and plopped on the bed.

He was feeling so possessive of her, she was his now and he wouldn't let one stupid General change that. He protectively wrapped an arm around her so that no one could take her.

Elina smiled devilishly at him. "I am not a typical princess, Aaran. I am lethal as well. Thorn has wanted me for centuries, but I have never encouraged his advances. As he knows better then to push the issue." She said as she sighed softly at his embrace. She snuggled her head just under Aaran's chin and laid her palms flat on his chest. She then closed her eyes.

Nashton burst out laughing at that visual image. "Oh, my! Dramatic much!" He said with humor.

Ashton caught sight of Kristen and ran to her. "Oh, I was so worried about you! Markus never said where you went. I feared the worst." She said in a rush.

Orson tensed as Ashton hugged him. He panicked just a little, but managed to pull it together. "Oh, Ashton. You are such a good friend. Well it's a very long story. But sadly, we don't have the time to broach the subject now. A conversation best left for later, when we are all safe." He said with his best Kristen impersonation.

Ashton nodded, "But of course, how silly of me." She said softly. She had a slight frown on her face. "Are you sure you're alright?" She questioned.

Orson tensed and looked to Kristen. Then looked back at Ashton. "Yes, I'm peachy!" He said with confidence.

(Ummm, how about it has a grumpy old regular squirrel living in it.

Where he likes Kyra, but strongly dislikes Graydon. Where he'll slowly come around to liking him. But for now, throws acorns at him. I had a squirrel do that once, it was hilarious. Does that sound good?)
Graydon flinched as a small projectile bounced off his noggin. "Owch! What was that?" He asked curiously as he looked around for the cause of his discomfort.

Ericsson was recalculating his plan. Rosie seemed to be three steps ahead of him. "Oh, I'm much improved. So that won't be a factor. I assure you, you will know my tickle wrath." He said like the Dark Lord.

Ember grinned and ran over to wrap her arms around Cadeon "I got hit with a sleeping dart, but I still managed to get one of them before they brought me here."

"Come on Arran, we should go through before the battle starts" Angela said, gently moving for this new exit. She looked to Don and dipped her head in respect "Thank you Alpha Guardian, there are some here who are kind, please be aware of them"

Don looked to Arran then back to Angela "We will young dove. Go now"

Estelle looked again "Mother?" She moved then, going over to a surprised Aurora to hug her.

Aurora was stunned, looking at this version of Estelle. "What? How? Estelle?" She dropped to a knee and looked at the girl before her, very confused.

He is vile and cruel and..." He sighed again and enjoyed her warmth. This was the first time he had pleasantly experienced heat. It was curious, it felt so different from the cold.

"Maybe just a little..." Taylor admitted with a smile,"But it's not very dramatic compared to some things that I've done." She pointed out.

Kristen/Orson glared at Ashton. He was hers! Ashton had no right to hug him like that! Then she remembered she was supposed to be playing the part,"Kristen. We don't have time for this." She steered him away then hissed,"I do not say peachy!!"
