"I'm glad you aren't someone who catches shifters. I had a nasty encounter with one, they're probably the only humans I've met that have the scent of shifter on them besides you." Arya said. "Anyway, why are you in the woods? Oh, here's your axe back." Arya picked up the axe and handed it to Cole.

"Thanks." Cole said taking the ax. "I'm getting wood for a project."

Graydon stood and help with the net after it was safe to release the tension. He pull the rope out of the loops in the net, so they could open it up. "I like having a team as well." He said as he got an armful of bedding. "Now, where do you want this?" He asked curiously.

"Absolutely! I was just telling Ender here, that we can stop off at this orchid and eat some fresh fruits for breakfast. How does that sound to you?" Falkirk asked eagerly.

Ericsson laughed, "That's the wonderful thing about family. The can say the strangest things, but to the family, they just make sense. It was a stupid joke, but it was our stupid joke. She's been gone almost two years now. But I still feel her loss profoundly. A mother is the heart of the family, while the father is the backbone." He said reflectively. He shook his head and looked over at Rosie. "Sorry, I got a little sentimental." He apologized.

Ra flung his head in annoyance. He tried to get Ember with the horns on his head. Her claws were doing some damage to his face, now. If it wasn't for his double eyelids, he would have lost an eye by now. Just as the bullets were starting to wear down his skin. Creating open soares on his shoulders and legs. But the water was the thing that stopped him cold in his tracks. He looked over at Aurora with pure hate. She may have put his fire out for the moment, but not for long. He was 1/14th fire dragon. He opened his mouth and shot venom at her. As it left his mouth, he coughed a spark and lit it as it flew out. Sending a stream of fire venom at her. He made a sound of glee as his fire reignited and was restored.

Anubis was growing weaker by the second. The wolves would latch onto his massive hunches and weigh him down. They had found out early that he had a certain radius that his jaws could reach. So he had resorted to using the walls and doorway to dislodge them. But they just kept coming at him. It wasn't long before he found himself completely immortalized. For as he had slowed, the wolves had moved in by the Horde. Grabbing him by the legs, belly and back. Anubis glared at his tormentors with anger. Panting heavily as he heard his master yelling, "Kill! Kill! Kill them all! Don't stop! Ra! Help your brother!"

Ra roared his rage and shot more fire balls at the wolves. While fighting Ember still. He slashed at her with his claws. She was almost blocking his way. He couldn't have that, he had to help his brother.

Ashton smiled mischievously. "That sounds wonderful. I'd like a cookie very much. Are you sure she won't mind?" She asked quietly.

Bertram shrugged and said honestly, "I do not know. The stories I know are old and are passed down from generation to generation. It's not the most reliable information. But the way I see it. You have both existed at the same time and nothing has happened yet. Perhaps, nothing will happen."

"Either bedroom, this is for us both" Kyra said happily as she gathered her own armload. She headed for her room to start putting it in her bed area, a recessed portion in the floor to hold and keep the material in it's place.

"Oh, that sounds delicious" Star said and smiled. This was starting to sound very nice, even with everything that had happened recently.

"Don't be sorry for that, it's good to remember your family fondly when you can" Rosie said gently and moved closer to give him a hug.

Jason slipped over to Cadeon, keeping him in one of the rooms where they could shoot at the two pets together. He liked watching his father's pack in action, it made him proud, even when some fell and didn't get back up. This was what they were made to do, fight to protect the weak. The pack didn't slow in their attack, the ones who did get tired simply traded off with the gun wielders as they needed to keep the attacks going.

Ember was forced to back off when he hit her with one horn, tearing some feathers off her wing. She squawked and flew back out of the way of the battle, having to give up on flight for the moment. She had to douse most of her flame and focus on her injury for the moment.

Aurora ducked behind the wall, hiding from the flames. Fire was a weakness for her and she knew she wouldn't have much of a chance if one actually hit her, but she couldn't leave this just to the wolves alone. She drew a shaky breath and peeked around the wall before stepping out with another water blast.

"I don't think she would, I think she made them for us" Estelle said and unwrapped her arms so she could stand to go to the kitchen to get a cookie and some milk. "We ate some earlier too"

"Maybe" Estelle said with a shrug and sigh. "I hope nothing bad happens " She didn't want anyone to get hurt from any of this

Aaran nodded and waved his hand again. The bits and pieces of wood all drove themselves deep into the target so that it looked like a porcupine. "Oh I just remember that after this he's going to regret everything that he's ever said to me. I'll make him eat his words." Aaran said calmly.

Taylor shook her head,"It was the first time I felt like an animal. Not like you or me, but low dirty and vile. They watched me like I was at a zoo and laughed at my pain. It was like they were trying to make me do something animalistic. I was about to do something crazy too. He was playing with my senses and he knew exactly how to do it. Without knowing it he made me feel like the science experiment I am." She looked up at the glow of fire and raised her gun,"WHAT?!?"

Kristen glanced back when she saw the glow,"Stay safe!" She smiled determinedly and ran back to help the others.

Enoch really didn't hear what Aaran said. He was transfixed on the target. "Um, Aaran? Remind me to never make you mad. Deal?" He asked cautiously.

Nashton didn't have the chance to answer that. From one moment to the next, they were in a war zone. Fire, bullets and bodies flying. It was amazing what adrenaline can do. It makes you forget everything else, but the task at hand. Which was survival of your pack and yourself.

Orson watched her go with a heavy heart. But they would need her gun. He moved to the cell and did the warding across the threshold. He then pulled a chair a short distance from the door and waited.

(And other talents. I've been stalling a bit waiting for ya. But it was me who dropped the ball. )

Aaran looked up at him then looked where he was staring,"Oh, that? It is pretty cool isn't it?" He grinned,"Not to be prideful or anything, but it does look pretty impressive."

Taylor shifted and pounced on Anubis to help the wolves drag him down.

Kristen ran back and saw the carnage everywhere. She weakly lifted her gun but she couldn't get a clear shot. In an attempt to get one, she ran forward towards the fight but the fight came to her. She tried to shoot but her gun accidentally got knocked aside and she couldn't find it.

Dawn looked at the two men with confusion, not understanding their actions. She looked back at Jackdaw with concern as she wiped away some tears. "Please be nice to my friend." she whispered to Navar. She sent a look to the Sylph, silently asking the same thing.

Zia shifted and laughed. "You never been here, huh? I'll walk with you."

Dust let his back legs drop to the ground in an attempt to stop the moose or at least slow it down. It seemed to slow him down a bit so Dust let go altogether. He snipped at the underbelly as the moose ran over him.  

Navar chuckled silently at Dawn's statement. Out of the corner of hie eye, he saw Blondie smile smugly at her words. Navar sighed dramatically and said, "If I must. Does your friend have a name? Let me guess, is it Blondie?!" He asked eagerly.

The Sylph turned to hide his smile, as he looked to the balcony. As if he was assessing a threat.

Jackdaw grunted. "No, it's Obi Wan Kenobi!" He said with venom.

"And who gave you that name? But then maybe you are the real one." Navar laughed hysterically. Since he had seen all the Star Wars movies. He looked at Dawn's expression and felt bad. "I'm so sorry, Dawn. That was very rude of me. He is your friend and I should respect that." He said sincerely. He then looked over to Jackdaw and said, " It's nice to meet the legendary Obi Wan Kenobi."

Degan blushed a bit and said, " That would be great. At least until I get my forest legs back."

The moose bellowed in agony as Dust perforated his abdomen. He turned to retaliate, but stumbled on the life's blood that was being pumped out onto the rocks.

"Thanks." Cole said taking the ax. "I'm getting wood for a project."

Arya tilted her head curiously. "What kind of project?" She asked.

"Do not tell me the future at all, I just wanted your opinion." Rio said simply. "That's good that you'll help them, but don't take too many risks." He told her, "Of course, you can, it's your choice, but I'd advise you not to." He said and chuckled slightly.

Sirene laughed a little, "Yes, food is distracting at times." She said and chuckled. Esprit put the human down on the ground, "We can eat here, this is a good spot." She said and smiled. Sirene watched the little fish that darted around in and out of the thick grass.

Dawn pulled away from Navar and went to stand by Jackdaw protectively. She felt the pain of his mean jokes for when he insulted Jackdaw it felt as if he was insulting her. She longed to tell Navar when she had given Jackdaw a fake name, but she knew in her heart she couldn't.

Dust charged him, jumping on the moose's back and biting at it's flank.

"Just building random stuff." Cole explained simply. "I sell it online just as a side thing."

Graydon took the other room and did the same. Once he was satisfied, he walked out to unite their rope. He coiled it up and hung it from a knot in the wall, by the door. The didn't need the rope to give them away. He was going to enjoy life here. It was so beautiful from this hight. He looked out over the treetops as the sun crested and lit the sky with colors. He had never seen such a thing. He was speechless.

Falkirk grinned widely and said, "Then let's go. We'll just leave from your balcony, if you like."

Ericsson returned the warm embrace. "Thanks for understanding." He said simply, as he watched her fondly.

Anubis was regrouping. He'd been able to rest a bit and had now got his second wind. He put all his effort into dragging the wolves and one hyena, towards his brother. It became a bit easier as he got some momentum. But the tugging on his hide was excruciating. He growled his discomfort and lashed out once more.

Ra ran up to his brother. But before he could blast the wolves with flames. Aurora water hit Ra. He turn in her direction, as fast as a lightning bolt. But before he could shoot a fire ball, a hyena grabbed ahold of his weakened shoulder, causing him to crumbled and slip on the wet floor. He toppling over sideways. His head striking the floor first. His jaw taking the brunt of the blow. The resounding crack could be heard aloud, before Ra's agonizing bellow. But Ra struggled and gained his feet again, but lost the use of his right front leg. He roared, as he still tried to shoot a fire ball. His tounge and saliva formed the ball. But instead of shooting out of his mouth, it fell limply out of the right side of his broken jaw. Ra thrashed his head in frustration. With his hurt leg, he couldn't even use his claws. He had only one weapon left, his vapor gland. He focused on a male that became his rage target. He glared at Kristen, as he directed the vapor at her.

Ashton got up and followed after Estelle. She didn't release her hand however. She didn't want to lose her again.

Bertram watched the sunrise absently. "Well, if nothing bad has happened yet. Maybe that's a good thing. I hoped it stays that way. Those colors are amazing." He said about the sky.
