Sirene laughed a little, "Yes, food is distracting at times." She said and chuckled. Esprit put the human down on the ground, "We can eat here, this is a good spot." She said and smiled. Sirene watched the little fish that darted around in and out of the thick grass.

Aurelius nodded appreciation. "Thanks, you're a good friend. " she said thoughtful.

Keldwyn looked around for the rest of Sirène's family. "Yes, it is a good spot." She agreed pleasantly. She sat down with then and enjoyed the fish, as well.

Aaran looked up at him then looked where he was staring,"Oh, that? It is pretty cool isn't it?" He grinned,"Not to be prideful or anything, but it does look pretty impressive."

Taylor shifted and pounced on Anubis to help the wolves drag him down.

Kristen ran back and saw the carnage everywhere. She weakly lifted her gun but she couldn't get a clear shot. In an attempt to get one, she ran forward towards the fight but the fight came to her. She tried to shoot but her gun accidentally got knocked aside and she couldn't find it.

Enoch chuckled softly at Aaran's response. "But you must get back to proper training. Now start working those weapons. I want to see wood chips fly for a different reason. " He ordered.

Anubis swong his head around to try to get her. His jaws snapping inches from her paw.

Aaran picked up a big broadsword. "Ugh!" He hefted it over his shoulder and walked over to a target. He tried to hit the target with it, but it was too heavy for him to swing it properly. "I think I need something lighter." He brought it back and chose a different one.

Taylor threw her weight to one side, trying to get him to fall.

Kristen ran towards him with nothing but her bare hands. If she was going to die, she might as well distract him.

Dawn pulled away from Navar and went to stand by Jackdaw protectively. She felt the pain of his mean jokes for when he insulted Jackdaw it felt as if he was insulting her. She longed to tell Navar when she had given Jackdaw a fake name, but she knew in her heart she couldn't.

Zia smiled. "Alright then." She turned forward again and walked next to him.

Dust charged him, jumping on the moose's back and biting at it's flank. 

Navar watched her walk away to go stand by her friend. He shook his head and looked over at Jackdaw. "You are as equally to blame. She doesn't know pack rules. She doesn't know about playful rivalry. Tell her truthfully, did I hurt your feelings or did I test your affections for her?" Navar asked him seriously.

Jackdaw grunted at first, but then it dawned on him. He had done just that. He hadn't realized it at the moment. It had been so long since he had lived in a pack, he'd forgot the greeting test. He grinned mischievously and chuckled, "Yes! Yes, you did. I'm a little out of practice. It's okay, Dawn. He meant nothing by it." He said with humor.

Navar held his hand up in fellowship and Jackdaw took it. "Welcome to our pack." Navar said softly.

Jackdaw got emotional but hid it well. "Thank you." He said softly.

Degan smiled at her and said, "You run pretty fast. I'm impressed."

The moose crumbled to the rocks as blood loss took it's toll. He listed to the left and exhaled a shaky breath, then fell silent.

Aeval stood up and looked at Dust proudly. "I had no doubts that you'd be victorious."

Enoch watched him silently. He noticed that he needed upper body strength the most. So they'd work with that as he got a weapon he liked.

But Anubis just changed sides. He was trying to lighten up his back, so he can get his legs free again.

(It ignites and sends a flash fire forward. I thought Kristen was going to shift into the Oilin and fight? )

Dawn titled head to the side in confusion, although she felt suddenly very stupid among them. But her happiness was restored when Navar welcomed Jackdaw and all seemed to be a peace for now. Changing the subject she asked, "So, do we have to call Amar by her full title now or can we still just call her Amar? Honestly I still don't understand all these titles and junk."

Graydon took the other room and did the same. Once he was satisfied, he walked out to unite their rope. He coiled it up and hung it from a knot in the wall, by the door. The didn't need the rope to give them away. He was going to enjoy life here. It was so beautiful from this hight. He looked out over the treetops as the sun crested and lit the sky with colors. He had never seen such a thing. He was speechless.

Falkirk grinned widely and said, "Then let's go. We'll just leave from your balcony, if you like."

Ericsson returned the warm embrace. "Thanks for understanding." He said simply, as he watched her fondly.

Anubis was regrouping. He'd been able to rest a bit and had now got his second wind. He put all his effort into dragging the wolves and one hyena, towards his brother. It became a bit easier as he got some momentum. But the tugging on his hide was excruciating. He growled his discomfort and lashed out once more.

Ra ran up to his brother. But before he could blast the wolves with flames. Aurora water hit Ra. He turn in her direction, as fast as a lightning bolt. But before he could shoot a fire ball, a hyena grabbed ahold of his weakened shoulder, causing him to crumbled and slip on the wet floor. He toppling over sideways. His head striking the floor first. His jaw taking the brunt of the blow. The resounding crack could be heard aloud, before Ra's agonizing bellow. But Ra struggled and gained his feet again, but lost the use of his right front leg. He roared, as he still tried to shoot a fire ball. His tounge and saliva formed the ball. But instead of shooting out of his mouth, it fell limply out of the right side of his broken jaw. Ra thrashed his head in frustration. With his hurt leg, he couldn't even use his claws. He had only one weapon left, his vapor gland. He focused on a male that became his rage target. He glared at Kristen, as he directed the vapor at her.

Ashton got up and followed after Estelle. She didn't release her hand however. She didn't want to lose her again.

Bertram watched the sunrise absently. "Well, if nothing bad has happened yet. Maybe that's a good thing. I hoped it stays that way. Those colors are amazing." He said about the sky.

Kyra came back out and went over to him, looking out at the sunrise then yawning. "I say we sleep for a while, then go hunting later" She said quietly.

Star chuckled then moved back a little and shifted, slipping outside and flaring her wings before taking to the air. She circled the balcony, waiting for the males to come out so they could come with her.

Rosie smiled at him again "Family and friends are what make this life worth living, even if they do drive you crazy at times"

Several wolves fell to that attack, but again, they were soon replaced and more guns shot at the two pets. The pack pulled the injured back, sending them back to Orson at the portal both as hind guard and to be the first out if it came to that.

Anna growled and charged, she recognized what Ra was aiming at and headed right for the beast, jumping to strike Ra right in his already injured jaw to throw his aim off and hopefully stop the creature from releasing any more of that vapor

"Orson, get back now" Aurora cried out, hoping Kristen would get out of the way in time. She glanced back to the pool and called another shot of water at the pets. They had to put out the fire for good on them both, before it sparked.

Estelle didn't mind the clinging. It made her feel better even if it didn't change anything. She showed Ashton the cookie pot and where the cups were kept in the tidy kitchen then, after they had their snack, she took a seat in one of the chairs.

Estelle looked to the sky again and nodded "Yeah, they are. I missed the sky when I was in there" She said softly.

Navar glanced over at the bed to a sleeping Amar and shrugged. He then looked to the Sylph. "Hey, Jaeger. What do you think. Are the tiles really necessary? " He asked.

Jaeger thought and said, "In some circles, if you do not use them. It is seen as an insult. While others are more lenient. So perhaps, in public use them and in private, don't. It will be safer that way." He cautioned politely.

Navar nodded. "Well, that's what we've done. Apparently, it's a good thing too." He said to Jaeger.

Degan frowned at the thought of something eating Zia. " Not while I'm around, you don't. I'll turn the tables and devour them." He said with conviction.

At that moment, the moose swung his antlers sideways and drove the points into Dust's legs. He then flung his head back and knocked him off balance. The moose was good at playing possum. It had worked to draw in more then one predator to it's death. He just couldn't figure out where the creature was. But a human would work.

Aeval gasped out in shock at the suddenness of the attack "Dust!" They all cried out as one.

Falkirk quickly shifted and galopped out of the room, out on the balcony and jumped over it's rail. As he did that, his wings spread and he took to the air to join Star.

Ender simply walked out and took off. It felt good to be flying. It wasn't always possible for him to just get away from the castle. He smiled widely at Star and Falkirk, as he glided closer to them. He still kept a small distance, for their privacy.

Ra growled at the wolf that was attacking his injured jaw. The weight of it on his jaw, sent shock waves throughout his entire body. He reared up and tried to claw at it. Anything to trying and get her off. That’s when more water was cast down on him. He choked as water got into his opened mouth and down his throat. He thrashed his head from side to side, to try to end the assault.

Anubis's hind paws slipped out from under him. Due to the wet floor and the weight of the wolves, finally proving too much for him bare. He hit the ground hard, with a growl.

Markus sent in Delta team. They were armed to the nines. They weren't risking them getting away. They took up positions on both sides of the hallway. They shot tear gas into the middle of the fight. He needed to get the brothers free. They were way to valuable to loose. So they had to protect their assets. They laid down some cover fire and moved closer.

Zypher coughed from the gas. He lost his vision to tears. In the process, lost his hold on Anubis.

Ashton closed her eyes, as she enjoyed the cookie. "Oh, these are very good cookies. Not at all like that industrial cooked cookie. These were made with love. You can just taste it." She said with pleasure.

Aaran hacked at the target easily. The sword still felt awkward in his hands but at least he could lift it.

Taylor rolled off him, shifted, and put her sleeve over her mouth, coughing.

Kristen listened to Aurora and ran. She had to find a gun. She sprinted, stumbling over herself from the awkwardness of her new body, into the hallway where the delta team was. She froze, wishing she had a way to protect herself, and shifted. Instead of trying to find out what happened, she charged the soldiers, antlers low.

Star looked tot he two males, curious about Ender and his wings since he wan't a pegasus. She soon returned her attention to where they were going and simply enjoying the freedom of flight. Soon enough her playful mood returned and she started doing rolls in the air again

Rosie blushed and dipped her head "All it took to learn that was to live alone for a week" She said quietly. "When you grow up in a pack, there's always others around, mostly family. When I first came to the city, I came a week early to get the house set up. I learned quickly that while family can be beyond annoying, having them there is a good thing"

Anna had to jump free as the tear gas stung her eyes, but when she returned to her human form, she was still wearing the mask, so the assault was ended. She growled again and shot at Ra from the close range, aiming for his eyes, though she wouldn't mind if she got his brain too.

Aurora had to duck back into the room she was using to grab her mask when the tear gas came in. She needed room to shift, but if she did in here, she would be confined to this room. With a growl, she shifted and slipped into the pool, after making sure the doors would have to be replaced to ever close again. There she waited for her chance to surprise the humans.

Half the wolves turned their attention to the humans coming in, one slipping out to throw the canisters back at them while the others started shooting. The other half continued shooting at Ra and Anubis after shifting back to their human forms, glad for the masks they had brought along

Ember was stuck where she was, on the side where the humans had just come in on. She looked to them, though she couldn't fly. She was trying to decide what to do when she noticed Kristen come to attack them. All she had in her human form was a handgun, not that the pain in her wing would let her shift to that right then anyway. With her flame out in the darkness, she was invisible to normal sight.

Estelle grinned and nodded as she ate her cookie "Yeah, these are really good" She said after taking a drink of her milk.

Estelle looked to him then moved, laying beside him and partially against him "Well, we got to see this one" She said quietly.
