Ericsson listened interested in all Rosie had to say. She was simply that fascinating to have a conversation with. They didn't talk about empty topics. But deep heartfelt one. He enjoyed learning how this wonderful woman thought and processed the world around her. He knew many that needed to learn her wisdom. But then that wisdom would've be wasted on men like Markus.

Zypher smelled the acidic nature of the vapor. But he too cringed at the sharp sound of the flash grenade. But they were in far more danger from that fire monster. He looked up at it as it made that chuckled sound. Zypher knew there was nothing to be done. He was about to light the vapor. All he could do was try to save Anna. He pushed Anna to the ground and covered her up with his body. "I love you Anna." He whispered to her. But that's when he heard "DON'T YOU DARE GAS MY PACK! I'LL GAS YOU!" Cadeon yelled as he held a shifted Nashton like a flame thrower. "NOW, NASHTON!" He said as he let the fire dog have it. Right in the eyes. Zypher look up and over at the strange sight, as he moved off Anna. "Now, I've seen everything." He said with a chuckle.

Ra roared as the sunk juice blinded him. He shook his head vigorously, to try and clear his vision.

Anubis release the Oilin's tail at the searing pain on his face. He dropped and rolled. Trying to dislodge the Phoenix on his back.

Ashton smiled fondly at the warm memories. "Ya, it was. My mother died when I was still very young. So I was sent to live with my grandmother. She raised me. She was one of the reasons I went into medicine." She said softly.

Bertram lifted hire face to the breeze. It felt so good on his skin. It's the small things one misses when deprived of many.

"Yes" Starr said and folded her wings to dives down, flaring them open to catch her just before she landed.She shifted and laughed happily. THis was all so much fun for her

Anna turned to Zypher and touched his cheek then grabbed her gun and held up earplugs from her pocket. She gave Zypher a pair and put in a pair herself then looked to Ra again. She still had a ringing in her ears from the flash grenade, but she had to force herself past that. She took aim at the creature, but trying for his eyes was out with the way he was shaking his head, so she aimed lower. She aimed for his throat and chest

Ember hadn't been able to get and hold a solid grip, so she released him, jumping off and fluttering to the ground. She hoped she had blinded the creature as she let her fire wane again, hiding herself from sight.

Estelle smiled and watched her eager for more of this story "She sounds like she would have been nice to know. I'm sorry for your mother though"

Estelle smiled at the feel of the breeze, though she was soon asleep where she was. It was just so comfortable out here this morning.

Falkirk landed with a trot. He shifted and took a deep breath, as he looked around. " This whole place smells like fruit." He said as he walked to a nearby tree to pick a turquoise colored fruit. "This is Umgabafruit." He explained as he held it out for Star. He glanced over as Ender landed and walked over to them. He smiled knowing at Falkirk. Knowing thar it was the most favored fruit in the orchard. They waited for her reaction as she tried it.

Ericsson nodded, "And they usually killers or sociopaths." He said with reflection.

Zypher took the earplugs and put them in. Thankful for them.

Ra growled as the gunshots hit him. He was still blinded, but he used the sound to pinpoint it's location. He released more vapor and opened his mouth to cough spark.

Anubis had lost complete vision in one eye and had impaired vision in the other. He rolled back to his feet and charged the Oilin again. He grabbed ahold of it antler and crushed it. He continued to work his way down. But got a shock as he crushed the tazer round. He yelped in pain, stunned for a moment.

Ashton nodded, "Thank you, but it was long ago. I can barely remember her. She was just a picture and stories to me. My grandmother was my conduit to who she was. My grandfather died in the war. So he was much like mother, just a photograph. He was very handsome in his uniform. Forever young." She explained simply.

Bertram sighed contentedly as the sunshine reached his face. It felt so warm and wonderful.

Rio smiled at her reaction, "The forest is very beautiful, isn't it?" Rio asked her. He had always enjoyed listening to the birds in the morning, it was peaceful.

Sirene smiled at the fish as they ate the meat, "Me too. On land it seems like it would be slightly boring, but in the water there are so many little creatures and you can find so many things hidden in the sand." She said thoughtfully. "This is really good." Sirene said, taking a bite of the meat they had cooked. "I'm glad we came up with the idea of cooking."

Rio smiled at her reaction, "The forest is very beautiful, isn't it?" Rio asked her. He had always enjoyed listening to the birds in the morning, it was peaceful.

Aaran nodded and stared at the two very real swords,"Uhh okay, I guess?" He raised his guard and lunged at Enoch hesitantly.

Taylor pointed to where she last remembered the mast. Her eyes and throat burned and she shakily leaned against the wall, coughing.

Kristen/Oilin screamed in and started bucking, trying to make the pain go away. She kicked Anubis off of her and tossed her head to shake off the tazers. When they didn't come off she continued bucking, shaking her head, and screaming, trampling a few men under her hooves.

Enoch nodded pleased. "Good. But you a broadcasting you intentions loudly, through body language. Pay attention to you foot placement and when you shift your weight." He said and demonstrated what he meant by it. "Also, don't look with you eyes, where you are about to strike. It gives me a heads up and I have time to react. Now with that in mind, try it again." He instructed.

Nashton nodded and ran for the mask. Halfway there, he heard the flash grenade. His ears ringing, he watched Anna and Zypher. That's when he felt a tugging on his sleeve. He turned to see Cadeon. He couldn't hear a word he said, but he understood the motion of his gesture. He nodded and shifted to his skunk. He'd never live this down, but they had to help the Alphas. He closed his eyes as Cadeon picked him up and charged into the frey.

Delta team opened fire on the Oilin as it trampled and kill some of their members.

Kristen screamed in pain when several of the bullets found her flesh. She charged them again weakly, but screamed again when her antler was crushed. She let herself fall over on to of the beast to crush it.

Ember looked to the Olin then moved again, making her way into the humans formation to fight from within. Even without flight, she could still jump and tear at them with her talons.

Estelle smiled a little and nodded "Like father was to me, but we had no pictures." She said then frowned a little before shaking her head again "Mother would tell stories, even though we lived alone a lot, it made it feel like he was there too"

Navar glanced over at the bed to a sleeping Amar and shrugged. He then looked to the Sylph. "Hey, Jaeger. What do you think. Are the tiles really necessary? " He asked.

Jaeger thought and said, "In some circles, if you do not use them. It is seen as an insult. While others are more lenient. So perhaps, in public use them and in private, don't. It will be safer that way." He cautioned politely.

Navar nodded. "Well, that's what we've done. Apparently, it's a good thing too." He said to Jaeger.

Degan frowned at the thought of something eating Zia. " Not while I'm around, you don't. I'll turn the tables and devour them." He said with conviction.

At that moment, the moose swung his antlers sideways and drove the points into Dust's legs. He then flung his head back and knocked him off balance. The moose was good at playing possum. It had worked to draw in more then one predator to it's death. He just couldn't figure out where the creature was. But a human would work.

Aeval gasped out in shock at the suddenness of the attack "Dust!" They all cried out as one.

Dawn frowned. "I don't like being called 'Lady Dawn' though. It's sounds so proper. I'm not proper."

Zia smiled. "I'd love to see the look on their face when that happens.

Dust cried out and glared at the moose, but not before looking at Aevel. He shifted and growled at the moose. He lunged at it's nose and locked his jaw on the soft flesh.

Nashton hurried to get Taylor's gas mask. It worked to cut the skunk funk. After a frantic search, he finally found it. He then B-lined it back to Taylor. "Got!" He said as he held it out to her.

The size and weight of the Oilin, cause Anubis to topple to the floor. The wind got knocked out of him, but he moved to gain his footing again, while snapping at the Oilin's front leg.

"Do you want to go and explore the woods a little bit?" Rio asked her curiously, "Not for a long time, and I'll lead you straight back here. It's fine if you don't want to, though." He said politely.

Sirene smiled, "I want to go to the city again soon. There are places where humans cook food and put herbs on it and stuff, and I'm interested to see them do it. We could learn many interesting and useful things from humans." Sirene told Keldwyn.

Falkirk grinned widely at her response. "Thought you'd enjoy it. " He said with happiness.

Ender walked a short distance to get Star a different kind of fruit. One that was his personal favorite. When the returned, he said timidity, "Here Princess, this is also delectable and mixes well with that flavor. It's called Sapeeka." He held out a cobalt blue and violet striped fruit.

Ra screamed pitifully, as half of his flint tonsils was annihilated by Anna's bullet. He tried desperately to spark cough, but nothing happened. Just an excruciating pain ensued. he slashed blindly at the continued gunshots. He lowered his head and tried to use his horns on his attackers.

Zypher dogged the horns and kept firing at it's chest. Gradually carving a hole in it. He kept changing out his clips to the gun. It was becoming almost to hot to hold. He'd have to find another gun soon.

Delta leader watched the absolute carnage. This was to much, how to fight such things. He shook it off and focused on his men again. The Phoenix was tearing through half of them. That's when he struggled with the electrified net gun. "Peters! Help me with this!" He yelled. It was a three man job, but if they used the wall it could work. The soldier ran over and they worked on aiming it at the Phoenix
