Falkirk smiled and nodded, "It's that fairy magic. It makes life so much easier." He admitted.

Ericsson kissed the top of her hair and said, "Well, I'm glad you did. Because I don't want to hide anything from you." He said truthfully.

Orson shook his head, "We are missing two. Nisha and Kristen. He said as he went to the doorways. "Nisha! Kristen!!" He called.

Ashton shook her head, "We haven't even started yet. How can you be useless for this stuff?" She asked. That’s when she heard a commotion in the other room. She went to see and saw a pale Cadeon, carrying an even paler Ember. "Oh! What happened? Put her on the couch!" Ashton looked for her black bad, but realized she'd left it in the cell, in Menagerie. But she rushed to look her over anyway.

Star laughed and nodded "I am beginning to see that' She said and tilted her head "But how do you know when you have enough, since it is so small on the outside?" She asked curiously

Rosie smiled happily "I don't want to hide anything from you either' She said honestly. She looked up at him again and reached up to kiss his cheek softly.

Don turned around with a frown then followed Orson to the door "Come on, let's get them before that countdown reaches zero." He said then set off to find the two.

Ember was still in her bird form, unable to shift yet. Her wing was torn, though thankfully not broken, and she had quite a few cuts and scrapes from the claws of that creature, Ra and the humans bullets.

Estelle went to the doorway then rushed over to grab the first aid kit from where she had seen Jackie place it before. She brought that over to Ashton to work with, since it was all they had without magic.

The commotion of the others arriving woke the other Estelle and she sat up, rubbing her eyes and staring at the growing gathering.

Aaran thought for a moment and shook his head,"I don't know."

Taylor took off her mask too. "Officially? Wow!" She grinned proudly,"I feel very important." She sighed happily,"Nevertheless let's get outta here!" She lead him back to Orson's cell.

Nisha had gone back to the cell once the fighting started but she was too embarrassed to let Orson know she was there. She wasn't scared she just couldn't fight to save her life.

Kristen's heart stopped racing and she began to be unable to ignore the intense pain. She stumbled back towards the cell as the alarms went off, but she was seeing spots.

Enoch sighed and said, "You were not paying attention and you grew overconfident. It's not a competition about who gets the most strokes or the hardest hits. Because of killing blow, just takes a second and a well placed jab."

(I don't get that. How can she be there and Orson not see her. He put the warding up on the threshold, remember? )

Orson raced looking for Kristen and Nisha. He called out to them repeatedly.

Dawn threw her hands up in defeat and exasperation. "Because...because I just didn't."

"Actually, we do. Quite often." Zia said, turning to face him grinning widely. She turned back to face the trail ahead of them. "Come along, now."

Dust tumbled off and snapped up at the moose, straining to reach it's nose. The dumb thing would not die, he had to respect that. The animal was thankfully bleeding worse than he was and his hope was that, that would make it weak. He scrambled to his feet to avoid being trampled and began running around it, barking and howling madly. 

Jackdaw nodded and said, "Yes, I know you didn't. That is why I asked WHY." He explained logically.

Navar had fell over laughing silently. He looked to the Sylph and pointed at the two and twirled a finger by his temple. The universal sigh for crazy.

Jaeger grinned and nodded, good-naturedly. Then went back to watching them.

The moose lashed out it's long front legs and hind legs at Dust as he ran around him, trying for a lethal blow. He snorted his annoyance at Dust, as he continued barking.

Aeval watched on. This was like the gladiators in ancient times. Oh how she missed blood sports.

Dust took a few steps back before lunging for it's leg. He locked on and tried to drag it backwards. Blood always tasted bitter to him instead of metallic like everyone said it did.

"It's a little bitter, but mostly tastes like spinach, if you've had that before." Rio explained. "I imagine it's what grass tastes like." ___ (Wow, you remembered that. Good job.)
Sirène smiled, "You deserve it. You are a kind friend, and you don't hesitate to be around me, my family, or my town despite all of our differences. You truly are unique. You deserve much more than that." She said kindly and beamed at Keldwyn nicely.

"Oh, I've had spinach before." She explained simply as she looked at the three leaflets. She hesitantly took it from his hand. She looked up at him as she put it in her mouth. She chewed slowly and frowned. "It's not my favorite." She said honestly. ~~~ (I do try. ) Sirène kind words mean a lot to Keldwyn. She was glad she had found such a great friend. " Your friendship is gift enough." She said sincerely.

Bertram also came awake. He looked over at all the wounded and dead bodies laid out like triage. He stood and looked on in shock. "What had done that to so many." He thought aloud.

It was getting pretty dark and most of the food was finished. "Should I ask my mother if we should go back? It's very dark." Sirène asked Keldwyn as she messed with a small, shiny rock.

Rosie was a little surprised that he moved her like that, though she herself had no objection to it. She kissed him gently, showing a love she couldn't speak yet.

Don also called out to the two females, searching for them so they could get out of this place.

Jackie came to the door and looked in at the assembly. "Ashton, they said you are a doctor, can you help us triage out here? Many are wounded" She asked then paused when she saw that Cadeon had brought Ember inside. "She will either need magic healing or she will need space to burn herself to a fresh body" She said after looking to the phoenix. "She is phoenix, she won't die so easily"

Navar straightened on the couch and smoothed out the seams of his clothing. "I'm sure, I have no idea what you mean." He stated plainly. He then looked over at Jaeger with a sigh as he asked, "Why do all male fey shirts have opened v's neck, all the way down to the naval? Better question, does that not seem weird to you? Just as my original clothing, has all mysteriously disappeared."

Jaeger grinned and said, "You ware the attire of your intended's station. A prince's garments. So you honor her, by waring them." He explained respectfully to Navar.

Navar looked over at Dawn and said, "Leaving here does have it's appeals. A warm chest for one. I'm more then eye candy, I have a brain, too." He winked at Dawn playfully.

Degan picked up the pace. He was a little confused why a stream mattered so much. But he followed along.

The moose stumbled ungracefully over the uneven terrain and due to Dust's brutal tugging. It collapse, starting to feel the effects of exhaustion and blood loss.

Aurelius watched him walk away. She looked around a moment before spitting out the chewed clover. She then hurried after Rio. ~~~ Keldwyn looked around and noticed it for the first time. "Oh, indeed it is. Yes, that would be a good idea. " She said as she stood up and shifted to her kelpie form.
