Graydon nodded graciously at her statement. But he knew that his happiness was directly proportionate to his time with Kyra. But that was a private revelation. "That is quite a view. " He marveled.

"But Angela there is a saying, 'The pen is mightier then the sword.' For knowledge is power. You are never just anything. Never limit yourself. You are all you will ever be. You are one of a kind and very unique." Nektar explained his point of view to her.

Zypher carefully jumped up into the back and shifted. "Oh, that's better. Nothing like a heal shift." He said with conviction.

Ashton climbed in the passenger seat this time. She held out the two pill bottles that held the trackers, she had kept them separate for that reason.

Orson sighed softly. "That's probably a good thing. I was scared for a moment. " He replied.

"Bleak? That is hard to imagine in this place." Starr said then looked down "But then, everything here is new to me and you did grow up with it" She said thoughtfully.

Kyra smiled and nodded "Yes, it is. I am glad we came here, even if I was scared to at first" She said honestly.

Angela blushed again then hugged him "See, there you go, making me fell special again" She said "Only you can do that"

Anna shifted also and looked to Jason then the trackers "We setting a trap at the ridge?" She asked quietly

Jason grinned and shook his head "No, I was thinking one at the ridge, one with the spiders. We cover the one at the ridge and give the spiders a feast at the same time. Plus side is we only get half the army to deal with, then we go in and free the other levels"

Aaran immediately stopped covering his mouth with his hand and stood a little more formally. He listened quietly to Enoch and Elina.

Kristen flipped through a couple pages but she didn't see anything. She set the book on the table while Orson was thinking.

Elina looked at Aaran again. "Will you help us get our king back? " She asked him hopefully.

Enoch waited for Aaran's response.

Nashton sighed deeply when Jason opened the back and Anna and Zypher got in. He listened quietly to their plans and grinned at Taylor. "You are saved by the bell, as the saying goes. The mailman is a mute point now." He said.

Jackdaw tipped his head. "No were, I was just waiting for you to get to me. I finally met you friend, Princess Star. She was very pleasant. But I didn't want to intrude upon their dinner, so I left them in peace." Jackdaw explained.

Degan chuckled as he got the large best plate and looked at it and then looked to Zia. "I'm paying attention now. This is going to have to shrink to git." He then held it up to put it on her and it did in fact shrink, right before his very eyes. "What sorcery is this? " He asked quietly.

Aeval was enjoying the challenge. Not flying in this form, seemed foreign to her. She jumped up onto a ledge and started climbing the cliff face. That way her size didn't slow her down, it became an asset.

But sharing the beauty and magic of this real, has awaken me to it as well." He looked at at Star and continued, "So often, we become jaded and loose that perspective. So, though I'm teaching you about this realm. You are also teaching me to appreciate it more. If that makes any sense."

Nektar folded into her embrace. He closed his eyes to better enjoy every nuance of the affection. "But that's my very point. You are special. I'd put you on a pedestal, but you'd never stay up there, would you? You just fly down." He teased mildly.

Zypher was a bit confused. "Ridge? What ridge? " He asked Anna curiously.

Kristen shrugged,"I don't know a lot about mythical creatures, or at least what I know are myths. Fey have healing powers so they don't need Phoenix tears. Umm... If they just took the ice guy maybe they're collecting the elemental powered shifters? I really don't know."

Racine looked around the fey trap. It was draining his powers and keeping him weak. He then glared at Xavier and Markus. "Why have you summoned me here?" He demanded of Xavier.

Markus was the one to answer, "I had you summoned here for a reason. You can either help me or become a resident of Menagerie. Your choice."

Racine looked to Markus. "I do not have the Oilin, he escaped with his human. Nor the Unseelie unicorn." He said with contempt.

"What I want from you, is not that. I want a warding to keep fey from making a portal to this place." Markus stated simply.

Racine laughed loudly. "Do you think I'm stupid. What you are asking, would in it's outcome, trap me here!" Racine turned to Xavier and continued, "I am not a fool like you Xavier."

Xavier sneered at Racine and said, "But you're over looking one small detail in your arrogance. You are already trapped here."

Markus chuckled and added, "For you warding, I'm offering your freedom and something you want very dearly."

Intrigued by his offer, Racine asked, "What do you have that I need?"

Markus pulled out his walkie and ordered, "let him in." After a moment the door opened and Orson walked in. Markus motioned him over and smiled. "I have an Oilin doppelganger. He's not quite two spirited. But he's close to ascending. That’s when he'll get his host spirit. We were amazed to learn of their two natures from surveillance. Now what is your answer?" He asked quietly.

Racine stared at the Oilin's doppelganger and smiled. " And I'll have your vow, that you will release me and the Oilin doppelganger upon completion?" He asked.

"I'll vow it. Do we have a deal? " Markus asked quietly.

Racine stared at the Oilin with speculation and said softly, "I think we have an accord."

Aeval was eager to beat Dust, when she almost slipped. Pandora snorted and scolded, " Slow it down a bit. You die, we all die. Remember? " Aeval just rolled her eyes at her sister, as she focused on the climbing. Reluctantly taking more care in her claw holds. She saw a clearing off from a cliff and decided to take it. She had lost too much time with her close call. She hoisted herself up and started to run as fast as she could, when she saw Dust was already ahead of her. "You sneaky Warg! " She taunted him.

"It's a place in the woods, where there's a large rock formation. We call it the ridge. It has great sightlines and can be made into a wonderful trap for our pursuers. We can put one set of trackers there as bait"

"A rare blue phoenix. Ember is special, so I'm not surprised they wanted her" Jackie said then looked to the others as they spoke

Keldwyn looked at her blankly. "Water dragons? Thank goodness I've never crossed one's path. Are they friendly or ferocious? " She asked curiously.

"Fresh water ones are calmer, unless they are protecting a nest. The ocean ones are usually aggressive and territorial." Sirène said.

Danika smiled at her again "I can do that" She said happily. She was still young in a lot of ways, and it showed more in this moment.

Bellatrix smiled. "You'll be a professional at talking to a god." She said and grinned.
