Star smiled and nodded a little "That makes sense. By showing me your world, you see it as new again" She said quietly. "I am glad of that"

"Cowardly lion?" Kyra asked and tilted her head, looking to him again "Aren't lions usually shown as very brave?" She asked with confusion

Angela shook her head and looked to him, though she didn't move back "No, pedestals are lonely, and I'd rather not be lonely anymore" She answered then smiled again.

"It's a place in the woods, where there's a large rock formation. We call it the ridge. It has great sightlines and can be made into a wonderful trap for our pursuers. We can put one set of trackers there as bait"

"A rare blue phoenix. Ember is special, so I'm not surprised they wanted her" Jackie said then looked to the others as they spoke 

Falkirk grinned widely at Star. "You sum it up eloquently." He said with reverence.

Graydon laughed dispite himself. " Well for me, cowardice is taking the path of lest resistance. I let a human keep me locked up in a cage. When I could have fought for freedom." He explained his logic.

"Then I shall have to forgive you, your pedestal fleeing. if it means I get to spend more time with you." Nektar said teasingly.

Zypher nodded his appreciation of the wolves strategic minds. "Oh, now that's a great day in my book." He said with conviction.

Orson's attention shot to Jackie. "That aspect didn't even occur to me. There is one thing fey love more then themselves, is a rarity." He said bitterly.

"Fresh water ones are calmer, unless they are protecting a nest. The ocean ones are usually aggressive and territorial." Sirène said.


Bellatrix smiled. "You'll be a professional at talking to a god." She said and grinned.

"Well, that's good to know." Keldwyn said honestly. She then took another bite of her sushi.

Aaran nodded,"Yeah, sure. As long as this Markus doesn't have a crazy girlfriend that I have to kidnap. Markus has tried to take me before too so I definitely won't mind helping someone else get away from him. Especially my king."

Taylor blushed,"Mailmen are just mailmen. They're not scary at all. Nashton, you're just being paranoid."

Kristen shrugged,"I don't know a lot about mythical creatures, or at least what I know are myths. Fey have healing powers so they don't need Phoenix tears. Umm... If they just took the ice guy maybe they're collecting the elemental powered shifters? I really don't know."

Elina bowed her head in gratitude. "Then let's gather our forces. We meet in the void. " She said as she turned to follow just that. She was getting her brother back one way or another.

Enoch gripped Aaran's shoulder and said, "My king? Good son, now you truly are one of us."

Orson nodded, "Very valid points and a sound logic. They seem to be building a army for a reason. This blood moon must be getting closer. It has always been a omen of end times." He reflected.

Aaran smiled,"Yeah, I guess I am." He took a deep breath and concentrated. His eyes started glowing slightly and he grinned,"That feels good." He handed Enoch's sword to him.

"Well what if I worked for Markus? What then? What if I was a really cool spy who came here to assassinate you all?"

Kristen shuddered,"For the humans at least. This king is insane. Why would he need an army if the spell was going to kill us all?"

"But if you had fought, you would have been hurt" Kyra said with a frown, trying to understand his reference and how it applied. "When it came down to it, you did leave"

Angela blushed and chuckled, finally pulling back to sit up again "I can agree to spending more time with you" She admitted gently

Anna smiled and nodded "The other set can go to the giant spiders, they love a good meal of humans, though they do prefer the mythicals." She said then shivered a little "I'm glad they are all out of there"

Jackie frowned but nodded "Yes, they do seem to. I'm glad we got Ember out of there" She said then sighed and looked around "Well, we know this place is as safe as we can make it, so now we just wait for the others to get back from their missions I suppose"

Aurelius couldn't help but to giggle. She glanced over the seat at Taylor and Nashton.

Arran looked at Aurelius in concern. For she had overheard their conversation.

Aurelius shook her head and shared an conspiring smile. Arran eagerly grinned. Understanding it was in fact a joke.

With a sigh, Aaran made all the ice glasses disappear and he jogged after Enoch.

Taylor smiled coldly trying to look serious,"I disposed of the lioness. I was supposed to get close to you all and it was too easy." Taylor dramatically held an orange in his face,"You see this? It's a trap. If anyone eats this, they will forever have little pieces of stuff in between their teeth. My gadgets are just too advanced for you."

Kristen frowned,"Okay, so let's say he has the army to control shifters. How is he going to fit an army strong enough to control all of you in the caves?"

kyra frowned, looking down at the floor beneath her her as she sorted through that information "But you said the cowardly lion found out that he was really brave in the end, at least when he had something to be brave for"

Angela smiled happily then hugged him again, just because she could and wanted to.

"Father is on relatively good terms with them" Jason said and glanced to them in the mirror "He can go and talk to them. They usually will do what we want for a free meal"

Jackie nodded then smiled "They don't need to know where I live. If they sent enough strong ones, this spell would fall. Nothing is unbreakable"

Nashton paled at the words, 'disposed of the lioness.' He swallowed with a dry throat. But then she continued. He could scarcely believe her next statement. He shook his head and deflated. "Oh! You are impossible sometimes. You about gave me a heart attack." He said with frustration. He put his hand to his chest for emphasis.

Zypher glanced at them with a frown. But quickly returned his attention back to the front.

Orson looked to Kristen and said, "In his vision of my parents, there as at lest a legion of fey warriors. There is one thing you must understand. That place is not just a cave. Just like a bee hive is more then just a box. Looks are designed to deceive. That is why fey love their glamours so much. "
