"Yes, I remember the lullaby you hummed earlier." He said softly. He slowed as they reached his door. He smiled shyly at her, before he whispered a spell to unlock the door. It made a hollow clicking sound and opened wide. He guided her through the doorway. There were easels with canvases neatly arranged in a line. There were portraits in various stages. "My mother's line and now me, are the ones who documented the royals." He explained.

Graydon made a small sound at the sight of such a beautiful bird. "That type of bird is that? I've never seen one so small." He asked curiously.

Nektar glanced over at Angela and smiled. "I'm I slowing us down again? I do apologize, I'll be more vigilant." He promised.

"And by the time they realize it's a trap, it'll be to late." Zypher said with levity at the thought.

Orson turned to Jackie and smiled as he bowed his head in respect. "All the more to ensure our safety and to help us keep our course." He said.

Star gasped softly and went to look at the paintings."These are lovely" She said appreciatively. She reached out but didn't touch the canvas.

"It's a hummingbird. They are tiny and lovely."Kyra said happily, looking at the bird. "They love flowers, they drink the nectar from them."

"We are not in a hurry."Angela said and chuckled lightly. "If we wanted we could take the scenic route."

"Exactly" Anna said and chuckled. That was the best part of all of this. "We could turn the jammer off and change direction when we turn it on again, just to keep him from knowing where we are going to."

Jackie smiled and waved then turned to finish cleaning up. She knew that they would be safe so long as they stayed on her property.

Danika settled in to sleep in her cave, she slept easily until morning

Bellatrix was still perched in her tree, but she was eating a meal and was wide awake. She was an early riser, but all birds were.

"Thank you. " Keldwyn said as she stepped out. "Where to now?" She asked curiously.

"I don't know. Let's walk around, maybe there's some place where we could swim." Sirene suggested.

Nightmare was roaming around in her dragon form, completely relaxed and content. She had loosened the rules she had made, feeling that they were too strict and would cause some animals seeking shelter to not come. Plus, it got rid of constant suspicion, et cetera. Most of the shifters who lived on the mountains stuck with fish, but newcomers would hunt for deer and such.
Besides, Nightmare was the leader, so she could break up a fight easily.
She lay in the sun, sighing happily and fell asleep, her jet black scales shimmering in the light.

(The mountains going to be called mythical mountain. Someone make a catchy jingle.

Danika rose, stretching before heading out to find a field to graze in for a little while. She looked around, as always sad to see less of the forest, but glad she was still there and that the forest was healing around her.

Aaran rolled his eyes,"Ummmm... It's just supposed to be an intimidating noise." He grinned and squinted again, trying to make his glowing eyes look scary.

Kristen blushed but smiled,"Same." She slipped her hand into his and led him outside.

"Now you look like you lost your contacts, boy." Enoch teased Aaran, as they passed into the void.
(I'm going to make Racine too weak to open a portal to return. So he'll have to walk with his undercover nasty. I'll call him....Harbinger of death. Because he's trained to attack when they reach home base.

Dust jumped onto a ledge, but slipped. He looked more like a cat trying to get out of a bathtub then a Warg as he stambled pull himself. When he got up, he shook himself; his pride was only slightly damaged.

Jackdaw walked with Dawn back to her room.

Aeval finally reached the upper level. But there was enough room for her now. She took a moment to look down. "Wow! That's a long way down. Alright girls, let get a move on." She said as she shifted her butt in gear. She could see Dust up ahead. She smiled and roared, as she got up to speed.

Dust could see the top. The mountain's face was steeper here and that made finding a good foot hold difficult. His tongue hung limply out of his mouth and dripped with saliva.
