Dawn nipped at him playfully. She growled and rolled over into her stomach before getting up and running off.

Dust came back after an unsuccessfull hunt. He flopped down next to her and sighed.

Jackdaw sprung up and bolted after Dawn. His tounge loping to one side as he ran.

Degan looked around them, like he expected to find a dragon right behind them. "I however, am not sure about this." He said quietly.

Aeval came awake with a start. She looked around defensively, but settled when she saw Dust. "Why the long face?" She asked him.

Dawn ran as fast as she could. She stopped after a while and panted.

Zia looked around. "Uh, maybe its a lazy dragon. Or maybe..." she looked at Degan and smirked. "Maybe it just controls things with wings. " She held out her hand, "Bow to be oh great winged beast!" She said dramatically.

Dust cocked his head to the side. He stood up and went to the water to drink

Bellatrix nodded approvingly, "Your past may upset you, I do not know, but it will most likely be useful to know." She said.

Vorsicht stared at her in amazement. "Wow, a goddess? That's amazing. So, do the Greek gods exist? I never was really sure." She asked curiously.

Danika nodded then looked down to the piece of grass she had shredded in her hands then back to Bellatrix. She stood up again and shrugged "All I can really do is stop fighting to not remember, but I haven't had any flashes of memory besides that one with the goddess Fay, and that was just a call for help I think."

"They do, but like many things, humans have distorted them to fit what they can see" Fay answered then shrugged "To humans, I am nothing more than a horse that pulled a chariot for Eos, yet I am a goddess in my own right, though I did that favor for her."

Falkirk savored Star's kiss. When it ended, he stayed close to her. "As sweet as Abgomiy nectar." He whispered softly.

"Oh, that's good. Because I don't think it would taste as delicious as you stew does. " He said with happiness.

Nektar looked around the dwelling. "I there a ritual you do with your fallen?" He asked gently.

Zypher grinned. "Remind me to have you write up contracts. Something tells me you have wonderful loophole skills. " He said with conviction.

Bertram shifted to his massive black Kelpie form. His razor-sharp teeth exposed from his pulled back lips. He snorted as he galloped to the edge of the forest and guarded the house.

Star smiled at him when they pulled back a little from eachother. "I will have to try some of that nectar, though I doubt it could truly compare" She said softly.

Kyra chuckled and used their new ladle to give them each a bowl of the stew. She handed him his and took hers back to their seating area. Oddly enough, though the sun was down, they still had light from somewhere. Kyra didn't seem to notice this inconsistency, as if she was well used to it.

Angela bit at her lip then nodded. "I hadn't learned all them yet, The only ones I know are for when we have a body to give back to the Earth" She said quietly. "I was supposed to learn them this year, before everything changed"

Anna blushed a little and looked to Zypher "We were careful in what we said." She said then frowned and looked to Jason "Though, it is not a real contract, since we didn't speak to this Louis or really promise anything. We just left with Nisha and out group without causing damage to his place. Nisha is the only one who promised anything, if she did"

Jackie looked around to determine what was attacking so she would know how to fight. She covered her ears at the sound of the banshee cry

Aaran screamed and hid the ground with a thud. He landed on his already mangled arm and twisted his leg. His vision went blurry and he couldn't feel the pain as much so he knew he was going into shock. He feebly pulled himself up and limped forward, dragging his leg at an awkward angle,"I'm a god, you idiot." He snarled,"Don't mess with me." He raised his hands towards him and focused, slowly slowing Harbringer's heart.

Taylor nodded,"He's evil and he deserves it. He's like Markus except he doesn't think there's anything wrong in what he's doing."

Kristen lowered her head, trying to muffle it, but she couldn't.

Harbinger hung in the air struggling aginst the slowing heart rate and staying conscious. In a last ditch effort, he shot his vapor venom at Aaran and cough sparked it. He enjoyed watching the raging fire wall engulf the God. He used his wings to fan it all around Aaran. That's when Harbinger felt heart rate return to normal. But there was something else. A summoning of a new master, was calling to him, demanding that he answer it immediately. He looked in the direction it was coming from. All at once, he forgot the battle and started to fly in that direction.

Nashton nodded and looked to the Alphas. While listening to Taylor still.

Orson had a split second decision. Kristen or the creature. If his attack failed to stop the creature, then Kristen would pay the price. He only had one good antler. So he had to make it work. He adjusted his angle and lowered his head. He gained as much momentum as he could. He'd take out the hindquarters, which would redirect it's aim away from Kristen. He braced himself for impact. With the force of the strike, he heard a sickening crack, as his last antler shattered. But it was a successful tactic. The creature was flung completely around. Orson stumbled as he tried to keep from hitting a fallen tree. Which resulted in him hitting it broadside. He got the wind knocked out of him.

Jackdaw tried to stop suddenly, but until accustomed to this body, he took a tumble as his legs slipped out from under him. He somersaulted landing in a heap of black fur. He started laughing uncontrollably. "Well, that was graceful! " He complained when he caught his breath from laughing.

Degan just stood there looking at her with a humoring smile. "Really?! That's how you treat a friend? You call them winged beast? " He asked as he rolled his eyes.

Aeval sighed and called out, "It's an expression. It's not a commentary on your appearance. It just means, what's the matter?"

Graydon took his bowl over to eat with her. He took his first taste and closed his eyes in bliss. "Never have I tasted any thing like this. It's so rich and flavorful." He said when he had finished with his bite.

"My people light the fallen afire. We then bare witness to their transformation from physical to spiritual. It's very primitive, I know. But steeped in tradition. " He shared with her.

Zypher nodded and smiled. "That is exactly what I was thinking. Good catch, Anna." He said with pride.

Bertram winced at the sound. It was a relief when it stopped. "Come, Jackie. Get on my back, we must find out what it is." He said with conviction.

Kyra smiled and started eating her soup also, glad to have the meal together in time to enjoy the freshness of it with him. "This is real food, fresh food. Nothing like those meals the humans would give to their caged creatures.

"Our tradition is to bury the fallen, so their bodies can nourish the ground and give rise to new plants. We usually have a tree planted over them, so it can grow and become their memorial forever, but we can do neither of those, since there is no body" Angela said and went to sit down.

Anna smiled at him again then looked to the others and back. "But that is for later, now is this trap"

Jackie nodded and moved to get on Bertram's back "We need to help whoever is in danger now"

Racine cursed and ran to him at the same time, Elina got to him. She looked up at him with tears in her eyes. "We have to help him." The battle had depleted them all. The rest of the generals had gathered around them in concern for Aaran.

Thorn reached into his shirt and withdrew a large locket. He opened it to reveal a leaf from the tree of life. He held it out to her. "Use this. It's my fault, I should have provided better protection for him." He said with remorse.

Elina stared at him in shock. "Thank you, Thorn." She said softly, as she took it from him. She cradled Aaran's head and gently opened his mouth to place the leaf on his tounge. She then waited for it to heal him.

Nashton pinched Taylor's side mischievously.

Orson gasped for breath, as he tried to get to his feet. He had no more antlers, he only had hooves and teeth left to fight.

The creature registered his movements. Still enraged by his attack, it charged Orson again. Orson wasn't quick enough to get out of the way. It T-boned him and he grunted, as once again, the air was knocked out of him.
