Elina smiled and nodded. "Yes it is. But acid burns hotter. It eats your flesh and nothing can stop it. It'll eat all the way down to the bone." She said with a shudder.

Nashton thought a moment then said, "let me see if i can convince her to speak with you. " He then started conversating with his hand again in a hushed tone. After about a minute, he said, "Okay, she's agreed to see you in twenty minutes. "

Orson whispered a protection spell on Kristen and walked away. It was the hardest thing he had ever done.

Aaran grimaced,"That sounds horrible. Like liquid fire." He picked a little flower and handed it to Elina while they were talking.

Taylor rolled her eyes,"Nevermind, don't let me interrupt." She stared out the window mindlessly.

Kristen wandered in the forest calling for Orson. She checked behind every bush and tree but she couldn't find him anywhere.

Dawn shrugged. "Side effect of growing up in a cage." she said as it was normal.

Elina took the flower and smiled at it, as she sniffed it gently. She wanted it all out in the open with Aaran. So she decided to tell him all. "They all believed that Racine killed king Kaerft, out of jealousy for Avalon, his sister. But there was more to it then that. That was only part of it. The brutality of the kings assassination was for what he had done to my mother. When the kings intended, found out about his affair with my mother and that it resulted with me. He had her disfigured with acid, to insure no other would ever look her way again. While I was forced to watch. So that I wouldn't follow in her footsteps. So when Racine finally found out about me and what was done to my mother. He confronted his father. King Kaerft disowned Racine and cut him from the throne. Mandating that Avalon would rule alone, for Racine was corrupted by darkness. So that's when Racine stole the Unseelie sorcerers stone, to ensure he had the power to kill the king. Then we fled here. With all his loyal followers." She explained to Aaran bitterly.

Nashton closed his eyes to get some sleep. It was quite and the movement of the van didn’t help.

Orson stood in the forest. He looked around himself as he realized, that for the first time, in all his adult years, he was completely and utterly alone. He felt the tears as the slipped silently down his cheeks.

Kyra smiled and nodded then went to settle in place again to watch what stars they could see outside. "It's almost time to sleep"

Angela reached over to take his hand in hers and shook her head "No, you gave me the nudge I need. I am just afraid of what we might find, or rather not find there" She said quietly

Anna sighed and nodded "He's a bird, so he probably flew when we all left there" She said hopefully then looked to the windows as the city came closer

Jackie held on, jumping off when they reached the dhore and looking back to the creature. "Be careful" She said then looked to Sergio then Bertram.

Taylor moved away from Nashton and slept as comfortably as she could manage with her head on the window.

Eventually Kristen's calling turned to screaming his name. She couldn't lose him. She pushed through the trees, sobbing and begging for him to show his face.

Sergio ran over to Jackie. "What is he doing?!" She asked confused.

Bertram was able to get up under the creature and lift it to the surface. It's breathing raggedy from a certain amount of water in its airways. It hacked and coughed. Bertram made it to the shore and shifted to put it out onto the shore. It laid there coughing up water. It's eyes watched them intently. It made to get up, but dropped weakly to itself side again. Driving it's barbed shoulder into the mud.

Orson sat down on a log and sobbed for his destruction of all he loved. Hearing his name shouted by Kristen was killing him. He couldn't figure it out. The shift must have been two much for her. He'd finally had enough and yelled, "I'm right here! Why can't you see me!!"
