"Well, no wonder everyone is always after you." Serpente said with a grin. She stepped down and shifted to her anaconda form, "I'll go find some unsuspecting people. Not everyone saw you land, I hope." She said and slithered away.

"Well, that's behind me now, no need for sympathy." She said cheerfully.

"Yeah. I will get who's running." Pluma screeched, and blue lightning flashed around. People around her collapsed, they were being pressed against the ground, like the gravity had increased. She plucked them off the ground and ate.

"Yeah. I will get who's running." Pluma screeched, and blue lightning flashed around. People around her collapsed, they were being pressed against the ground, like the gravity had increased. She plucked them off the ground and ate.

"That's good that you aren't dwelling on it. It's always best to move on, no matter how tragic your story is." She said. Ambrosia looked at her dress, "Did you buy that dress in the city?" She asked curiously. "It's much less beat up than what I usually see on shifters. I've gone shopping in the city a few times, it's quite fun." She said conversationally.

Serpente searched the allies, looking for people who didn't notice what was happening. She slithered into a window and looked around, then spotted someone who was asleep on the couch and approached her, biting to latch on and then constricting. Instead of eating when she was done, she slithered out of the building and looked for others.

"I don't mind" Star said and stood also. She smiled at him then to the brothers as they headed for the door to go to the training room again.

"I don't think you are expendable" Kyra said, looking to him and frowning a little at his word choice.

"Well, Anna will have to play bait, though we can assure you she won't be in danger. As for father's set, well, he'll have to use the illusion stone" Jason answered.

Anna smiled a little "The ridge was a favorite hiding place, since it has an escape hole naturally in it' She said then shrugged.

Jackie came in and looked at Garth and Sergio on one side and Ember and Cadeon on the other. She was glad they were all healthy and safe here and would keep them that way as long as she could.

Angela leaned over to give him a hug as well as she could. "It's alright, you were thinking of what matters more, keeping us and others safe. No one can think of everything all the time" She said kindly.

Danika nodded and sighed, looking down at the ground then shifting to her unicorn form again. "I hope no one else was hurt." She said then turned to walk again. 

Ender walked out first and checked the hallway, then nodded to Spyro. Signalingthe it was clear.

Spyro held the door open for Star and Falkirk.

Falkirk nodded his appreciation as they walked by.

Graydon saw her frown and got nervous that he had offended her. He stammered an excuse. "I'm sorry at my failed humor." He smiled shyly and said, "I'm thankful that you don't see me as expendable. I guess I've just felt like that sometimes."

Jason was right, he didn't like the idea of Anna in danger. Zypher growled softly. It wasn't a threat, just a involuntary reaction. He looked to Anna and sighed softly. "You are a strong and competent. I know you will be careful." He said more for himself, then anyone else. "So this stone, how does it work? " He asked to distract himself.

Garth saw Jackie and smiled brilliantly. He slowly got up and walked carefully across the room to her. He hugged her tightly, "You are my everything! Thank goodness for you. " He spoke clearly.

Sergio grinned proudly at Garth and Jackie.

Cadeon watched the display and smiled softly.

Nektar made a soft sound. "You cease to amaze me. I just hope we can help before anyone suffer needlessly from the callousness the humans." He said with conviction.

Danika nodded and sighed, looking down at the ground then shifting to her unicorn form again. "I hope no one else was hurt." She said then turned to walk again.

"Me too." Bellatrix said and followed, walking beside her.

Spyro held the door open for Star and Falkirk.

It just places an illusion of our choice in an area" Anna answered then looked to Jason "If the spiders do as we want, he wouldn't need it, since those trackers would be inside a cave. And if needed, we can put my trackers in the ridge cave so no one is in direct danger"

Jackie smiled and hugged him back. She was so proud of him for taking what she had given and learning from it.

Angela nodded and sat up, again taking his horns to hold onto "Yes, let's go and see how much harm we can avert." She said softly

Danika looked back to her again after a while and frowned then smiled and shook her head with a light chuckle "Bellatrix, I don't know where we are going, you have to lead me"

Garth's face crumbled and contorted into absolute agony. He wailed piteously and dropped to the floor convulsing.

Sergio ran to his side and knelt beside him on the floor. "What's wrong! I don't understand!" She said concerned.

Cadeon looked at him in shook. The got up and hurried to help in any way.

Markus finished the spell and poured water in the burning blood of the Gen-one. He then shut the fey king's spell book. Markus smiled in satisfaction, he just wished he could enjoy his vengeance firsthand. That traitor would suffer a very slow and agonizing death.

Nektar waited until she was ready and took off at a furious pace.

Jackdaw wait until they were within the dappled light of the forest. He then bolted.his black fur blended in with the shadows. He then crouched low and waited for Dawn to pounce on.

Pyro looked around for a ledge and got up. He released a fluid from the gland in his mouth. It was slightly thick and would stay in place on the ledge. He then coughed sparked to ignite it. The flammable substance would slowly burn and give them some light. He looked up at the play of light and shadowy teeth on the ceiling. "Oh, now that's dramatic." He said as he moved to his spot again, to enjoy the view from there.

Degan chuckled lightly and watched the play of the shifting light. "Yes, it is. I very interesting to watch." He said absently.

Aeval glanced at the humans as they passed them. She nodded her agreement to his statement. "We just have to get what we need and leave. I'll feel better having currency of this modern time and weapons for our human forms. I have been thinking about a great many things. Us being captured and what Aurora had said." She explained simply.

Dawn trotted along unknowingly, until ,of course, it was too late.

Danika looked back to her again after a while and frowned then smiled and shook her head with a light chuckle "Bellatrix, I don't know where we are going, you have to lead me"

"Oh, my bad." Bellatrix said and walked in front of her. "Where exactly do you want to go?" She asked.

Keldwyn nodded quietly. It had been so long since she had been with a member of her species. She wondered what it would be like, to not be so guarded. She smiled at her friend and said at last, "That would be very interesting indeed. But a welcomed out come." She said truthfully.
