Kyra smiled at him and nodded then took the bundle to tie up also. "Yeah, they won't matter to us, so long as they stay away from here"

Jason nodded and smiled "Now's the time to set up, wherever you choose to be. There is a crow's nest position above us here if you want it, not as high as the ridge, but it's good"

"Oh, yes, those will work, they can be for you and Ember if you like?" Jackie said and smiled at him then looked at the stones happily.

Angela stayed as close as she could to him as they headed for the mountains together

"You've been otherwise engaged. I understand completely. We'll have plenty of time to talk. " Jatvet said gently.

"Rest assured, if the humans show up, they'll regret it." Graydon said darkly.

Zypher nodded, "Alright, that's where I'll go. I personally prefer the high ground. It's too easy to roll a grenade down hill." He said, as he got his gun.

Orson worked with the other stones to see how many pendants they could make.

Nektar kept an eye out for predators. He wasn't taking chances with Angela.

There were 30 acromantulas, including Eleanor and Earl, in a group near the small cave. They were all in their human forms, ready to start training.

Jackdaw glanced over at Dawn. He smiled softly as he watched her movements. He took his shoes off and stood to walk over to her. Enjoying the feel of the warm sand between his toes. "I dare say thst castle has been thoroughly sacked." He said with humor in his voice.

Degan was honored that Zua would offer for him to try on a part of her armor. But it was Pyro's hissed growl that stopped him in his movements. But he wasn't growling at him, he was looking back the way they'd come.

"Mistress Zia, men are approaching. Markus's men to be exact. " Pyro said with certainty.

Dawn laughed. "Nah, what gave you that idea?" She looked over at the fallen castle. "I like this sand stuff."

Zia stood, looking to the cave entrance. She fingered her sword as her eyes darkened with hate. "Pryo, can you burn them to a crisp?" She asked as she pulled her sword free from it's sheath. Something about the way the armor hugged her and the strange comfort in the sword made her feel more powerful than ever before. Of course it helped to have a winged lion and dragon by her side.
