Star smiled back ar him and watched as he flew over her. She laughed happily and flew into a forward flip before looking at him again.

Kyra chuckled and nodded. "Yes, it belongs to both of us, and we can always make more if we need it." She said. She didn't care if he had some more now,

Ember turned, flying down after Chaos. She awas so focused on him that she hadn't really looked at the ground and where they were going. She moved to attack again when he returned to his dragon form but didn't make it to him before a net suddenly hit her wing, wrapping around it and making her fall to the ground.

Rana cried out in anger and flew after Chaos, grabbing him by the wings with her talons.

Jackie ran a finger over the image gently. "It was worth it to save his life. I would not deny the magic used there. It was needed at the time." She said and smiled then looked to Cadeon. "I'm not truly human even when I was born, but I believe I have been changed more recently, though I am not certain how much."

Skylar shook her head then shifted to her wolf, going over to a bookshelf to learn Jackie's scent then around the room until she had the known scents before searching for the unknown ones. She stopped when she found something unexpected.

Anna chuckled softly and watched the door to see if he would come in with her or not now.

Rosie grunted when he spun her around to cuff her wrists then pulled her head back before passing her off to another male.When they started kicking Ericsson, she tried to get free of the cuffs and go after them "Stop that now!" She was glad he didn't think she was a shifter yet, that could come in handy

"That was wonderful, Star! Not to mention very well executed." Falkirk said sincerely, as he maneuvered himself back on her right side.

Graydon grinned from ear to ear, as he carefully choose his piece to eat. He took a bite and put the rest in his pocket. That way he could continue to help put the jerky away. "I really like this kind of meat. Deer is really good. It's unlike anything else I've ever eaten." He explained happily.

Bertram saw Ember coming down. He couldn't stop that from happening. It was fortunate that the net gad only tangled one wing. But the shocks had to be brutal. When she hit the ground, he shifted and grabbed a stick to try and dislodge the net without touching it himself. He'd save that as a last resort. Garth came over and started using his horn like appendages. They were unaffected by the shocks. "Go help Orson, I've got this." He replied honestly. After a moment, Bertram nodded and went to help the Oilin. Which was a good thing, because he was surrounded and being captured in a net himself. Bertram shifted to his Kelpie and charged in to the circle of men. Thrashing and biting as he did.

Chaos roared his rage and unsheath the Moonlight blade the bone like blade in his tail and stabbed rapidly like a scorpion, trying to get Rana off his wing. He felt the leather like skin rending from the massive claws. His other wind was beating double time to make up for the handicap. But he noticed they were losing altitude.

Sergio made a soft sound through their mind link. She was very happy at Jackie's forgiveness.

Cadeon took that in and thought about it. But then movement drew his attention back to the pot. "Ember! No!!" He shouted uncontrollably. Bob made an eagle like scream at the image as well. He flapped his wings in distress as Ember hit the ground and the others tried to help.

Jaxon frowned as he came over to look at it. He wasn't sure what it was. Id looked unlike anything he'd ever seen. "Maybe we shouldn't touch it. It might activate it, whatever it is." He cautioned reasonably.

Nashton frowned as he watched Taylor walk away in a huff. "Thank you for the help. Hey, I'm sorry too." He said with conviction.

Taylor stopped and looked at him and smiled widely at him. "I know you are, el stupido. Now do me a favor and don't get your head blown off. Alright? Because i won't be there to save the day." She said softly.

Nashton gave her a nod and said, "Yes, I know. My lovely Loco." At her smile, he turned to bump the door open. Once inside the office, he used his weight to shut the door again. He looked over at Anna and Zypher. He then asked, "Well? What do you think? Will it work? "

Zypher leaned back in the chair and gave Nashton a good looking over. But not saying anything. He was messing around with him a bit.

Nashton frowned and moved to get a little closer. He looked to Anna and asked, "Well?"

Daniel sighed dramatically and said, " Fine. Load them up. We have to get back to Menagerie. Markus and his freaky snake woman, has something big planned. Since we cant have any fun with the traitor. " He looked to Rosie and chuckled again. "You want to ride with me?" He asked with excitement evident in his eyes.

The men picked Ericsson up by the arms and dragged his feet. Ericsson coughed slightly as he tried to get his breath, but didn't fight them.

The heavy net had put a more than normal strain on her wing, making it hurt, though she could tell that nothing had been broken. She had to take a moment or two to recover from the shocks before moving again.

Rana cried out in pain, furling her wings to create drag and letting his wing shear under her talons even though it meant losing her hold on him. He would be going down with the one out of commission and she could focus on finding her little avian friend again.She turned, skimming close to the treetops to see if she could find Ember nearby

Jackie looked at the two then to the bowl, frowning and watching the battle again. "She's alright" She said, watching the freed Phoenix fluff her feathers out and stand up once more. She sighed in relief then glanced to Bob again "Don't worry, she's strong"

Skylar looked to him then back to the object. "Maybe, but we can't leave it here either. We don't know what it will do or if it's designed to destroy this place" She said worriedly.

Anna smiled and dipped her head then nodded "You look alright" She said then chuckled and looked back to him "This should work just fine"

Rosie watched the men and Ericsson then looked back to Daniel and shivered. She did not want to go with him at all and started to go right behind Ericsson to try to stay with him.She didn't want to be near Daniel since he was giving her the creeps.Talk about snake women wasn't cool in her book either

Falkirk gave Star an equine equivalent of a smile. he found himself blissfully happy with every moment he spent with Star.

Graydon looked up to Kyra and asked, "Even with drying it like this? But then you'd probably get sick of eating deer. Never mind me. Sometimes I'm full of questions." He gazed at their yeld with a certain amount of pride. His friend had taught him so much, he wondered how he was ever going to repay her.

Once the net was free, Garth watched her to make sure she was alright. When she stood up, he was thankful that she seemed fine. He then looking across the way at the others. They had them on the run or either dead. He looked around for Chaos, but didn't see him. He hadn't seen where he'd gone.

Orson ramed into the side of the SUV. But it sped away with limited damage. He did his Oilin call in frustration. He looked over at Bertram and quickly wished he hadn't. For he was contentedly eating the dead humans. He didn't say anything, just left him to it. He hurried over to where he'd seem Ember fall. He was relieved to find her seemingly unharmed. "Are you alright? " He asked as he approached her and Garth.

Bob settled at Jackie's reassurance. He sang a happy tune when Ember got up. Cadeon chuckled, as he tickled Bob's head. "My sentiments exactly." He replied softly.

Jaxon looked for a way to move it without touching it. Just in case it was activated by touch. "I'm glad you found it Skylar. I'm just no good in the smell department. Now hearing things, I excel at." He explained as he searched for a viable option.

Nashton let out a relieved sigh. He then looked to Zypher and frowned.

Zypher grinned widely and nodded, "Yes, you'll do nicely!" He proclaimed his agreement to Anna's statement. He then got the transmitter and held it up for Nashton's inspection. "Is this too large for you to carry? " He asked curiously.

Nashton shook his head no, then realized what he'd done and answered hind instead. "No, that's not too big. I can carry more the it looks like I can. We can put it on me and I can show you." He ordered with certainty.

Zypher held it out to Anna, since she was close to Nashton. "That's a good idea. That way we can make modifications if necessary. Because it is slightly heavier than it looks." He replied honestly.

Ericsson was worried about them finding out Rosie was a shifter. It seemed they thought she was a human nurse. Thank the heavens for that. But he didn't like how they were treating her. He attention was focused on what Daniel had said to her. He hoped they were allowed to stay together. But Daniel's next words gave him hope.

"Aw, well if you rather follow around a broken man. Then so be it. But I would expect him to live long, when Markus gets his hands on him. Then we'll revisit this conversation. But for now, I'll be content to watch you walk away. A mighty fine posterior, if I say so myself." Daniel reported with flare. His men laughed at his comments.

" she said and dipped her head a little then looked to Orson when he came over. "I won't fly for a day or so, but I am alright. " She said then smiled and tilted her head. "Unless you will heal the bruise?"

"I saw you fighting, I know you don't do so without reason." Rana replied then looked to the others " I tore his wings if you want to continue. "

Jackie smiled, watching the water. "That is the roc, Rana. She has lived around this area longer than I have." She said quietly.

"Maybe we should get the others." Skylar said. "Jackie can use magic to get rid of it." She wasn't sure about touching it either, it smelled wrong somehow,

Anna took it and looked to Nashton, figuring a way to get it on him so that he would still have freedom of movement with it on. "Alright, try that," she said when she was done.

"And men like you wonder why females don't want to be around you, blaming everything except yourself." Rosie mutttered, going to Ericsson to stay close to him then glanced back to Daniel "Karma will come back to bite your butt, I hope I am there when that happens. "

Falkirk flew over the waterfall ans down to the lower lagoon. He shifted and plunged into it's crystalline depths. He smiled up at Star as he did the backstroke.

Orson looked to the new shifter as she spoke to Ember. He offered, "Hello, I'm Orson. This here, is Garth and that one over there getting rid of the evidence, is Bertram. It is a rare pleasure to meet you, Rana. I don't think I've ever met a Roc before. Just heard about them." he then turned to Ember and answered her question. " Absolutely, I'd gladly heal your wing. That was very brave of you to take on such a monster alone. To bad Oilin's don't have wings." He stated good-naturedly.

Cadeon asked curiously, as he played with Bob's feathers. "So is a Roc a mythical? "

"Yes, I think that'll be the best thing to do. I don't want to take any chances. It's best to error on the side of caution. So to speak." Jaxon agreed with Skylar.

Nashton moved around the room a bit. To get a feel for tha added weight. At first it was cumbersome, but only he leaned how to move his body, it became easier. "I think it's fine. I've still have very good movement, it just takes getting used to. So where am I supposed to place it? How far into the tunnel do you need it?" He inquired.

Zypher thought and looked to Anna as he brainstormed. "I'm thinking perhaps up in the rafters. That way it's out of sight. I don't think there was really a place on the ground, was there? Or should we try and get it on the elevator? " He asked her.

Nashton went still. He looked over to Anna and waited for her reply. His heart sank at the prospect of getting that close to the elevator. But then offered his observation. "But most likely, there's surveillance on the elevator. My black won't hide in that lighted interior."

Daniel shuddered dramatically. "Ohh, I'm shaking in my boots. Such fears will keep me up at night." He said, then burst out into laughter. "If you want to see my butt, all you need do is ask. Since it seems to be on your mind." He taught Rosie.

Ericsson tried to make a run for Daniel when they reached the SUV. He hated that slimy pig. Especially the way he was talking to Rosie. But the soldiers effortlessly shoved him head-first into the back of the SUV. Before they opened the back doors to throw him in. He had to settle for glaring at Daniel instead. His pain was excruciating, both in his side and in his head. He wasn't going to give them the pleasure of knowing it.

"I think a vent would be best, that way it is inside, but not anywhere in sight.Though if there are any traps or anything there, then we will have to settle for the rafters. He's right about the elevator area being too bright for safety" Anna said, thinking it through. Though if we can get it on top of the elevator car, then we can have it at several depths depending on how far it goes."

That is very sad" She said and shook her head mournfully before fixing a glare on the ones who hurt Ericsson. She moved quickly, going up to each of them to kick them where it would hurt most.

Jason winced and glanced to the men with him "They made her mad." He said then grinned and looked back to the scene, taking aim with his gun. "Let's even the playing field a bit, shall we?" He added before opening fire on the humans and the tires of the van

Orson carefully placed is hand over the bruised area on Ember's wing. He then closed his eyes and focused on drawing the injury into himself. Soon enough, it was healed. "There, good as new. I can also heal your injury if you want me to, Rana." He offered helpfully.

Bertram had finished his feast and can galloping up to them. He reared up on his hind legs and shifted to his human form. He looked to the new female and bowed respectfully. He'd heard Orson making introductions.

Cadeon chuckled lightly and nodded. "Yes, that comes in very handy at times." He agreed. He then looked over as Skylar came into the room. The look on her face didn't bode well for them.

Zypher's eyes lit up with remembrance. "There was a vent off from the main rafter. I remember seeing it, when we were looking for Ember. He could get in the cooling shaft, that would lead to the elevator shaft. The very next time the elevator comes up, he could slip it on top. We can put magnets to the bottom to ensure it doesn't fall off. Wonderful idea, my dear." He complimented.

The two soldiers crumbled to the ground in agony. They were gasping for breath through their pain. When the gun fire sounded, they were easy targets. One of the first to get killed. Daniel however, managed to grab Rosie and held a gun to her head. "Not so fast, hot lips. You're my meal ticket out of here." He stated with annoyance to her. He then yelled, "Hold your fire or sweet cakes here, get it!"

Ericsson rolled onto his side in the SUV. There was no way he could help Rosie. Not that he was much help anyway with his hands cuffed behind his back.

Rana dipped her head, smiling at the others."That would be appreciated, thank you" She said, looking to Orson once more. "I can fly all three of you males if you are going after the dragon as well" She said softly.

"That other left something here, we are worried it was on purpose but we don't know what it is" Skylar said quickly then turned to show them what it was, pointing to it then looking to Jackie when she came over

Anna smiled and dipped her head at that. She had only just though of it on the fly, but she didn't see any known flaws with the plan.She looked to Nashton again "Do you think you can do that?" She asked. She would push him to do too much, but this was what they needed.

Rosie gasped and stilled in his grip, staring at the gun. She didn't like this situation one bit. With her hands in cuffs, there wasn't much she could do about the situation.

Jason motioned to the other wolves then stepped out and faced Daniel "Let the girl and the man go and we might let you live" He called out, waiting for the other wolves to surround the area and try to grab Ericsson from the van when Daniel was distracted.
