When Avalon looked out at the gathering, she focused only on Jackdaw and spoke. "You are a bold one. To think you have a right to not only show up here, but to evoke a rite fight. You seem to have forgotten, King Kaerft stripped you of your holdings and titles. Which leaves me to only assume that was your motivation for murdering my father so brutally." She said with utmost disdain.

Jackdaw knew better then to speak out of turn. So he held his tounge, until addressed directly. Regardless of how much he wanted to plead his innocence. He reminded himself, appeal to her mercy, not her vengeance.

So when Avalon asked, "What have you to say for yourself?"

"I did not kill king Kaerft" The gathering gasped at his words. But Jackdaw continued undaunted, " How could I? I was locked in the tower at the time, my queen. Nor did I give the order to my wolves to carry out. It is unfortunate that my pack was used in that manner. They were all loyal citizens of this court. They did not act upon their own desires. They'd been spelled with Unseelie magic. In fact, when I fled from your custody, I'd found their butchered bodies in the woods. They're corpses still had the bitter stench of that magic upon them. Prince Racine was the only one known to have position of that stone. I'd hoped that with the passing of time, cooler heads would prevail and you'd listen to my evidence. For my previous trial was not even that. You would not let me plead my case. You just ordered my execution. I do have honor my queen. Just as I respected your father. Even when he took my titles and holdings. But this goes far deeper then just me. my pack and myself, were scapegoats. The king's death was sanctioned by his son, not me." Jackdaw replied calmly.

A riotous chorus of accusations were called at him from the gathering. "liar!" and "murdering monster!" being the favored ones.

With a stern look from Avalon to the gathering, they soon fell silent once more. "And I'm simply to believe you? If you are counting on my blurred vision of the past, you are gravely mistaken. It's still crystal clear, as if it happened only yesterday. As for the accusations cast at my brother, how content he's back in this realm to answer them. You shall have your trial, Jackdaw. Be careful what you wish for. For there will be no escape this time." Avalon said with conviction.

"Why me?! You too have clothing on. Why not wiped it upon your own? " Graydon said rationally, while still staying out of reach.

Sergio manifested her human form and smiled softly at everyone. "Hey." She said tentatively.

Orson smiled at Sergio lovingly. "Hey, kiddo. Good to see you." He said happily.

Sergio smiled and stepped forward to hug him. "As am I." She said honestly, as she reached out an arm to pull Kristen into the hug. "I've missed you both. " She said.

Cadeon jumped up off the porch as soon as he saw them. He met Ember hallway across the yard. "Oh, I'm so glad to have you here safe and sound. I was so worried about what could go wrong." He said with relief.

Aeval and her sisters were quite shocked when they saw Aurora when they landed. Aeval shifted to her human form to not pose a threat. " I hadn't hope to find you this day. I'd hoped to learned where you may have gone. You have some very interesting companions. That letter was most unexpected, yet appreciated none the less. I found it was good to have a quest and a purpose again. Does your offer still stand? Will you teach me the ways of the dragon, Aurora the blue?" She asked hopefully.

Ericsson sighed softly. "Oh, just what the doctor ordered. I think I'll live." He said jokingly.

Bob nodded eagerly. "Ok! Me counting, you both hiding!" He yelled out as he flutter to the chair to hide his face in the corner. "1..2..3..4..5..6....Umm 7!..8's.." He called out.

Jaxon looked around for somewhere large enough for him to hid. But the lack of options, had him hiding behind the floor length curtains like a child. He'd never played a game before, he found it strangely exciting.

Sahara lunged around and snapped at Anna's muzzle. Using her weight and muscles to try and force the wolf within striking distance with her circular momentum.

Starr watched them, wanting to jump in, saying how he was a friend and had helped Dawn, but she was content with the way things were going. Jackdaw would get his trial and Vatgkan would have his. She looked to Falkirk and sighed softly. She wondered if there were spells to see the past that they could use to see the truth.

Kyra paused, stumped for a moment on that one then she grinned again "Because this is more fun" She said then laughed and chased after him again.

Kristen smiled and hugged Sergio back "I missed you too" She said honestly and smiled at her.

Jackie smiled as she watched them greet eachother. She gave them a moment before speaking "Orson, we had a question and were hoping you could help out with an answer. When you gave me Sergio and we bonded, it did something to me" She said then frowned a little trying to think of how to explain it.

Ember hugged him close and smiled "I am glad we made it back also. We managed to kill that dragon and burnt his body, so he won't be a problem anymore." She said quickly.

Rana waited for Bertram to get off them shifted to her human form and looked at Ember and Cadeon "I didn't know she had found love. That explains how fierce she was today" She said quietly.

Aurora smiled and nodded "Yes, I have found many new and interesting friends since I came out of hiding. You can simply call me Aurora if you want to, I stopped using titles long ago and I would be glad to help teach you about dragons and our history. There are three other dragons inside, two are my daughters and the other is a fire dragon(Forgot his name, so pretend she said it.)

Rosie smiled and chuckled lightly "Oh, well if that is all you want' She said teasingly and made as if to get up from the chair. She was just teasing, since the only reason she would get up right then would be to get a drink for them both.

Sky got up and shifted, going to hide behind a chair so that she would be out of sight but not too hard to find. after all, she didn't want to make it so that they wouldn't have fun for finding them.

Anna tilted her head, dropping it to grab a hind leg instead as they circled around. She bit down hard then let go and jumped back again just to keep away from the other's jaws.

Falkirk patted Star's arm gently. Trying to soothe her, just in case she was upset. He knew she wasn't accustomed to the court life. He glanced to her face, in concern. But noted she didn't look upset. Just deep in thought. That was his Star, ever adaptive.

Avalon thought what to do with Jackdaw. Since she couldn't put him in the dungeons with Vatgkan. Especially with an open challenge aginst him. That's when the perfect solution presented itself. "Very well. Take him to prince Vatgkan's room. He won't be needing it with his accommodations in the dungeons. Jackdaw's guilt is now in question. Where Vatgkan's is already determined by witness." Avalon ordered. She then stood up and walked out of the throne room. Ender looked to the Sylphs and gave them charge of him. Before following Avalon out. Lucille nudged Star before following also.

"Kyra! " Graydon said, as he ran about evading her hand. "Oh, I'll get you back somehow. You best sleep with one eye open. " He said through his laughter.

Orson frowned in thought. Wandering if it was similar to what they'd gone through. "How has it changed you?" He asked curiously. He glanced over to Kristen, then between Jackie and Sergio.

Cadeon stepped forward and smiled. "Where are my manners. You must forgive me. I'm Cadeon." He said as he offered his hand. " and yes, I'm lucky enough to have found the love of my life. Her little stray kitten she decided to keep." He said teasingly with a wink.

(Lol! I totally forgot about him.)
Bertram chuckled lightly at the jest. He kept waking towards the cabin. He reached out to Jackie with his mind, but saw it was blocked. So he didn't press. She was probably busy. Which was fine, because he really needed to soak in the water for a bit. So he changed course to the pond in the back of the cabin.

"Thank you, Aurora. I've always just had the one name, Aeval. But there's new developments since last we met. My sisters each have their own names now. Pandora choose her own and Ena, our friend Dust gave it to her. She really likes him....well it's true, don't deny it. Yes you are!..." Aeval smiled sheepishly, " Oh, I'm sorry, we do tend to do that quite often. But mainly in our human form. Since there's only one mouth. " She explained simply. She grew serious, as she listened to her sister, then relayed the question. "Pandora wanted to know, have you seen many three headed dragons? " She looked around curiously, while she waited.

Ericsson made like he was in agony. "Oh, wait! There seems to be a new affliction. This pain is right in the chest area. It only hurts when you go to leave. It's like you are my heart and I can't live without you. " He dramatically, as he covered his chest with his hand and looked up at Rosie in mocked pain.

Bob stumbled to count to 20 twice. Why just to 20? Well, that was as high as he could count. "Be ready or I get you!" Bob said with as sing song voice. He then fluttered down to the floor and started running across it looking in various places. He nails ticking in the hardwood, then going to soft scratches on the throw rugs. "Me get you! You wait!" He said with a mimicked growl, followed by a soft giggle. "Hey! Look, a lumpy window cape" He cried as he hurried to pull back the fabric. "Oh, just you Jaxon! You got, got!" He said playfully. He then scurried under the couch and came out the other side. "Nope! She no there!" He stated offhandedly. He stood in the middle of the living room thinking. He tapped his longest toe while he did so. "Where is she? " He whispered softly to himself. He looked up to Jaxon with speculation.

Jaxon shook his head and shrugged. He genuinely didn't know.

Bob had an idea, so he walked over to the back of the couch and used his claws and beck to climb on top. He stretched up as tall as he could. This way and that. That's when he saw Skylar's tail sticking out from behind the chair. He fluttered down and ran to peak around the chair at her. He whispered, "I got you Skylar. I win!"

Sahara grunted at the bite to her leg. She decided that she was going full boar. She lowered her head to protect her throat and charged right at Anna. Trying to off set Anna's footing, causing her to stumble upon impact. She was like a freight train coming down the tracks. Her claws leaving marks in the carpet.

Star glanced to Falkirk, smiling at him when he squeezed her hand.She was glad there would be a trial now, hopefully a fair one given the people's reaction to Jackdaw even being here. She wanted to go to him and assure him that she would try to help but felt that would be wrong at the moment, so she followed Avalon and Lucille out of the room, glancing back to him then over to Ender, still new to the whole mind speaking thing "Please don't let him get hurt. He is not a bad guy." She thought to Ender and hoped that it would work right.

Kyra had to stop because she was laughing too much to run after him anymore. She had to lean against the wall and catch her breath before looking to him happily again. "What are you going to do, get one to land on your hand so you can chase me?"

Jackie glanced to the door, doing a quick spell so they couldn't be seen or walked in on then glanced to Sergio before shifting to show them. "This is how I escaped, when I got Sergio, it changed me to a shifter as well." She explained.

Kristen gasped and held Orson's arm. She was surprised but not surprised and wondered if she should show Jackie and Sergio her new form also.

"I am Rana, a roc and longtime friend to Ember. I am pleased to meet you Cadeon" She said as she came closer to them then chuckled at Ember's flushed cheeks. "Keep your kitten my friend, don't let anything keep you apart. I must go and find Lyra now, she's been flying all over since the forset was taken down." She said then hugged Ember and smiled at Cadeon so she could turn to go.

Aurora shook her head at the question "No, there have never been many three headed dragons around which makes me think you were hidden or sent away to keep you safe but your guardian was never able to return." She said thoughtfully. "Come inside, we can get a drink and discuss what I do know about your kind, and you can meet the others"

Rosie smiled and leaned back to him to give him another kiss. "Hm, then how will I get us something to drink, if I cannot leave your side?" She asked teasingly. She was having fun with this now and didn't want to stop.

Skylar chuckled inside and dipped her head to gently nudge Bob. She wanted to lick him but that might hurt him with his young feathers, so she didn't, trotting out then shifting again to her human form "So that means it's your turn to count Jaxon" She said with a smile.

Anna tried to dodge, but did get knocked to the side. She got back up quickly and shook her head before growling and attacking again. This time she jumped, biting and clawing at the hyena's back for as long as she could stay up there before being forced off.

Ender glanced over to Star surprised by her response. But sent one back, "And do I want to know how you know this about him or him, for that matter? " He raised an eyebrow with his silent questions.

Lucille was in her own mind. Was it true? Was he set up to look the villain? She twisted her hands in the lace of her sleeves.

Avalon walked to the magic teacher's chambers, (I can't seem to remember her name. Lol!) She had a few things to talk with her about.

Graydon took a deep breath himself, before smiling as he looked around for ideas. Seeing a slug on the wall. "How well do you like slugs?" He asked devilishly.

Orson had the same reaction as Kristen. He stepped forward to get a closer look. "I'm sorry Jackie. I hope that you are not displeased with me. But it seems Oilin's are quite unique and physically need two natures. In the absence of acquiring another host spirit, my magic created one for me. But who it chose, was Kristen. I just assumed it was because we had exchanged bodies for a time and she had shifted to my Oilin form while in my body. While your magic is very complex. I knew you had Fey longevity and magic. Otherwise gifting Sergio would never have worked. But I never knew this would happen. Never dreamed any of this was possible." He said as he looked between Sergio and Jackie in wonderment. He then smiled lovingly at Kristen. "It's up to you love. If you want to reveal the unspoken part. It's your secret to keep or share." He spoke in her mind.

Cadeon wrapped an arm around Ember and watched Rana move away. He called after her, "We all thank you for your help. But I especially hold immeasurable gratitude, thank you Rana."

"That is what we feared. Our parents were the only ones we've ever seen. " Aeval stated as she walked with Aurora to the house.

Ericsson pursed his lips and thought. "Well, I could hold my breath? " He said as a question.

Jaxon smiled slightly, then turned to the chair before covering his eyes with his hands and sitting. He then started counting.

Bob shifted from foot to foot excitedly, while looking for a good spot. He then saw the pile of wood beside the fireplace. He scurried over to it and crawled behind it. He peeked out to be sure Jaxon wasn't cheating. Satisfied, he hunched back down.

Sahara was only getting more enraged. Like teasing dog with a bone and Anna was that bone. She changed her once more. This time all jaws and claws.

Star smiled a little, glad it had worked right. "I met him before.I helped to rid him of a minion spell so he wouldn't try to take me or Dawn away.That is one reason he challenged Prince Vatgkan." She thought then glanced to Lucille and reached over to take one of her hands gently. She could see how upset and nervous she was and didn't want her to feel alone.

Sorcha answered her door and bowed to Queen Avalon and the princesses. "My queen, what can I do for you?" She asked, holding the door so they could come in if they wanted to.

Kyra looked up at him and raised an eyebrow "They are a necessary part of the balance of nature" She said carefully. Not exactly a rousing endorsement of the small creatures, but they were hardy and she didn't want any accidental deaths on his conscience.

Jackie smiled a little at that "I am not displeased, it is simply a curveball having to learn my limits again. I do not mind having to learn to fly either though that may take some time to get down right. It is good to know I wasn't the only one surprised by all of this." She said then looked to Sergio and smiled happily even as she assumed her natural form once more.

Kristen looked at each of them then nodded "I was given my own Oilin form." She told them, glad to have someone she could talk to about this, even if they were as lost as she was on the exact hows and whys of it all.

Rana looked back to him again with a smile "No, thank you for making her happy. I can see how much she loves you, and you her. Take care of eachother" She said then shifted and took off.

Ember held him and smiled, blushing at Rana's words but happy that the roc approved. There were some who wouldn't like that she had chosen another species, but for now, she didn't care about them and what they thought.

Aurora nodded and went inside, glancing around at the activity then going over to the couch where her girls were sitting and playing together. She introduced Estelle and Elle then looked to the fire dragon to introduce him to Aeval also.

"Oh? And what if I get delayed?" Rosie asked and chuckled softly "There are many here I could get in a conversation with. Besides, it could take a little while to get something for us to drink."

Skylar smiled and went to hide behind the couch, since that and the chair were really the only things big enough in this room. She settled in to wait to be found.

Anna growled, determined to not back down and to win. She wasn't aware that something long dormant in her bloodline was getting stirred to life once more. The fey wolf that marked her bloodline through a long ago ancestor that had fled the fey realm in order to survive made am appearance, giving Anna a third form. The fey wolf was bigger than her normal wolf, growling and lowering her head to the hyena before meeting her charge with her spikes. Anna hadn't known about this, there had been no stories to give warning, but she was glad for the strength and power the fey form gave her.

Ender listened to Star's words, thinking about what it could mean to the case. "And I assume it was prince Vatgkan who had cast it?" He inquired mentally.

Lucille was drawn from her thoughts when Star took her hand. She smiled sweetly in thanks at Star's kindness. She mouthed, "Thank you."

Avalon gave Sorcha a little nod, before accepting her invitation. "I need your assistance with a delicate matter." She explained as she walked into her chambers.

Graydon grinned as he nodded. He walked and placed his hand in the glistening slime trail. "Oh, good. Then you won't mind if I wipe my hand on you." He said as the looked at his palm absently. But when he looked back at Kyra, his expression transformed to playful mischief.

Orson laughed slightly as he moved back to be near Kristen. "You do have a way with words, Jackie. Also you make a rather fetching gargoyle. But when you learn to fly, just remember this one," he said indicating Sergio, "was a very fast learner. So she'll be an excellent teacher, I think."

Sergio smiled widely with pride at his praise. "I would be honored to teach you, Jackie. If you wouldn't mind? " She stated happily.

Cadeon wrapped his arms around Ember and smirked happily. "Well, that was flattering. I don't know how I'll ever walk through a door again with my head so big. But I must admit, making sure you are happy, is all I want in this life." He said with utmost sincerity.

Aeval greeted the young dragons and the fire dragon Pyro. She'd never been in the company of this many dragons. Or wolves for that matter. She looked around nervously. "I've never been inside a house before." She explained simply, as she looked to the strange furnishings. But went over and sat down tentatively. Her face lit up at the comfort. "Oh! Now I could get used to this." She admitted freely, as she bounced lightly on the cushions.

Pyro glanced to Aeval with humor, before he went back to reading.

Ericsson pursed his lips in thought. Then shrugged, "You're got me there. I think the benefits out weigh the time alone. " He said with amusement.

Jaxon finished counting and followed Bob's example. "Ready or not, because I'm coming to get you." He said as he started walking around looking. He saw Skylar behind the couch, but pretend not to. "Wow! This is going to be really hard."

Sahara watched with horror as Anna's form changed. She'd never seen anything remotely close to it. A massive thorn wolf, with glowing green light from her throat and eyes. Sahara tried to stop, but her momentum impelled her on the crown of thorns on Anna's lowered head. She whined piteously upon impact. But recovered quickly enough to pull herself way from the thorns. Something wasn't right though, her wounds were burning like fire and then it started spreading throughout her body. Causing her heart rate to speed up exponentially. She looked to her terrified sisters, before she collapsed to the floor as weakness took her legs from her. She panted heavily and coughed from her dry throat. She looked back at Anna and growled with hate-filled eyes.

Zypher could care less what was happening to Sahara. He only had eyes for Anna. He didn't understand what had happened, but she was beautiful.

"Yes" Star replied and smiled to Lucille. "It felt like his magic. Jackdaw asked for help and I was there to help him, though the minion spell was trying to get him to leave the castle at that time, so he was trapped in a closet. I guess he is tired of hiding now." She thought back.

Sorcha nodded and let them in then went over to a sitting area so Avalon and she could talk. "What is it that you need my Queen?" She asked, willing to do whatever she could to help whatever the situation was now. Her gaze traveled to the two princesses then back to Avalon in curiosity.

Kyra took a step back, looking from his face to his hand then back before she laughed and turned to run from him now. "Don't get that on me"

"I would not mind in the least" Jackie said and smiled at Sergio. "It'll be quite a change to teach instead of learn for you" She said and reached for her hand to hold it "When do you want to start?" She asked curiously.So much to learn and who knew when they would be attacked again.

Kristen smiled and leaned against Orson's side as she watched them then looked to Orson "I still have so much to learn about my new form also." She said then smiled "And I can't think of a better teacher for me than you."

Ember smiled and kissed his cheek lightly. "She is one of my oldest friends. I am glad she likes you. Back when I first left my flock to explore the world away from the censoring looks, she was there to teach me the ways of the world and how to survive alone."

Aurora chuckled lightly and nodded "Yes, it is easy to get used to the comforts of being indoors. If you don't want to be this close to so many, we can go to one of the other rooms." She said gently then glanced to her girls and sent them off to play in their room so they would be out of the way and she could talk.

Rosie chuckled then kissed him again "There, maybe that'll hold you until I get back?" She asked teasingly. She hadn't played like this with anyone else since she was a pup and free to act as she wanted to. It was fun and freeing in a way.

Skylar flicked her ears, listening to him moving around the room. She wondered how he hadn't seen her when he looked back here, but was facing the wrong way to see that. She waited to see what would happen next.

"We are Guardians, do you think there was no reason we were given that title?" Anna asked, surprised herself but trying to hide that. She had never taken this form before, wasn't even aware it was possible, yet here it was. "My family has been alphas for over a thousand years, we have been guardians for centuries. Did you honestly think you could just walk in and take what we have claimed and put under our protection?" She asked, stepping closer and growling at the hyena once more. "You have only two choices now, die slow or die fast." She stated then glanced to the sisters and Zypher.
