Avalon sat down beside Star and quietly listened. Sharing in her happiness of finding a love match. But grew serious once again, as she came to the purpose of their private meeting. Avalon cleared her throat delicately and said, " I know I'm putting you in an awkward position. But since his crimes were against you, I wanted to give you the option of choosing his sentencing. Should you choose banishment, Navar has vowed to take him to earths realm, far from reach of ever hurting you or Falkirk ever again. But should you choose death, Spyro will deliver the verdict immediately. It's not a decision to take lightly and if you feel you'd rather not decide, I will fully understand." Avalon then settled back into the couch cushions, a nonverbal statment that there was no hurry.

Ender looked to Falkirk silently, before looking back down the hallway, ever vigilant.

Falkirk leaned against the wall in a relaxed posture. Thinking about the tough decision Star was faced with.

Graydon eyebrows shot up in intrigue. "Are the fairies or just fairy magic that helps them fly?" He asked with childlike innocence.

Jura curled her lip at Rana in a pain filled snarl. "And you think I have a choice? Shows your lack of knowledge of the new world order. " She retorted hotly. She then focused on the humans. "Help me! Someone please! I just need one of you." She pleadingly cried.

Orson stopped in his tracks at Jackie's statment. He then rushed to the gazing pool to see for himself. "Your power is amplified with Sergio as your demo. Just as I felt the loss in mine until..." he stopped short. Not wanting to reveal Kristen's and his secret. "I regained my power." He added vaguely.

Jaxon hung back by the door listening silently. While Bob was wiggling in Skylar's hold. Not paying any attention to the adults conversation. He took to chewing the cuff of Skylar's shirt. Taking delight in shredding the fabric.

Zypher had his gun out and had Anna covered as she was climbing up. He'd noticed Nashton was gone and the penthouse door was opened with light spilling out onto the hallway. He looked to his own doorway and was at least glad to see it was still closed. He held out his hand to help Anna up. That's when he heard a feminine voice call out. " Zypher, a word if you please. " He closed his eyes in resignation.

Sahara sat calmly on the sectional with a drugged Nashton in her lap. She stroked his all black fur absently as she waited for Zypher and his female friend to make an appearance. She glanced to her two sisters who were flanking the open door. Manish didn't even begin to describe a female hyena's physique. The males were the pretty ones. Well, when they weren't scared too badly from fighting, that is. But she'd always had a soft spot for little Zypher. And it seems rightly so. The male built an empire from nothing more then the fur on his back. Aszro never knew what a gem she had birthed.

Star put a hand over her heart then looked down at her lap. This was a hard choice to make and for it to fall to her was not something she took lightly. She simply thought about it all for a minute or two without speaking then looked to Avalon to speak again "I do not wish him death, but I cannot have him free to do as he wants to Earth either. If we were ever forced to flee to Earth for any reason, he would have a foothold there before us. So long as he is alive, he poses a danger to us one way or another" She said then looked down again "But he was right, wasn't he? My parents pledged me to him?" She shook her head and sighed again "I do not know the laws here well enough. I am frightened of him, and so long as he is alive, even on Earth, he could find someone to send after me or any children I may have in the future but is there really anything we can do if he was following your laws just in a twisted way?"

Kyra looked to him and tilted her head then chuckled and shook it "It is not that kind of dust, it is just the way they are. The oil that is naturally on our skin will rub off the powder that makes them able to fly naturally. If they lose enough of it, then they die from being killed or starving"

"New world order? I don't know about any new world order, but if it involves slavery then I am against it. All I know is my friend was being attacked, so I went to help, now you leave the humans alone, I won't let you kill them either." She said and tried to stand again.

Ember flew down, not liking all the humans around taking pictures of them. She flew to Rana's side and looked at the roc then to the gargoyle "Must you cause pain wherever you go?" She asked "Is that all your kind knows these days? You used to be guardians. What happened to those days?" She asked, refering to a time long ago when gargoyles protected human cities from evil and slept on the roofs like the unliving artistic ones found today. She would attack the creature if any humans came too close just to keep her from feeding.

Jackie looked to Orson with a puzzled frown "I think we need to talk" She said quietly then looked back to the water "Hm, now they have drawn a crowd. This could go very badly, it looks like Rana is hurt."

"Hey, my clothes" Skylar said and eased the baby phoenix away from her shirt though she held him so he wouldn't have a chance of falling. "I think you need a toy to play with instead, lets see what we can find, alright?" She said then looked at Kristen as she turned to do that.

Kristen came to the door, looking at them then going to Orson's side when she saw he was back but still busy.

Anna finished climbing up and looked to the open doorway with a frown. "Who are you and what do you want with my pack?" She asked, moving beside Zypher and glaring at the doorway. "You are not taking Zypher or any of my friends or this building."

Avalon thought of how best to answer. "According to the old laws.... Yes, he was within his rights. But it can also be argued, that the moment your parents left this realm and fled to earth's. That covenant was terminated, since Vatgkan choose to remain here. Had his future intended ment so much to him, he should have invested in his mate's future. Mainly by keeping your family safe until they produced such an heiress. But tragically, you parents were both killed. Thus leaving you to fend for yourself. At the mercy of a strange world. So it's Vatgkan who had reneged on his side of the bargain first. Not you, Princess. Trust me, Star. My father taught me well how to find loopholes in the old laws." She stated with a radiant smile. Before she addressed Star's second concern. "As far as banishment. When we banish a fey to the human realm, they have no magic left. They are as weak as humans. The only magic that is upon them is a simple glamour to hide their feyness. Only those who have fled to earth, retained their powers. " She explained helpfully.

Graydon flushed at his ignorance. "Oh, well that makes complete sense. They're like miniature feathers." He said with unique vision.

"You can't order me around. Only the dark mother and her master can. You will find there are more to come. Many, many more." Jura taunted Rana. She Then Looked to Ember and smirked, "Those gargoyles you speak of were part of Racine's army. They lived on buildings to be he's eyes and ear in the city. How easily your kind was deceived. As for the evil they kept at bay. That was simply them feeding." She admitted freely. She gave up on calling to the humans. They stood like a herd of cattle staring stupidity at them.

"Agreed, we definitely do, but not now. We'll go get them and bring them back safely. But what should we do about the humans?" Orson asked Jackie. Despite the latest drama, Orson gently and lovingly twinned his fingers with Kristen's to mesh their hands together. It calmed his frazzled nerves. He'd missed Kristen greatly and gave into the urge to tell her. So he spoke in her mind as he awaited Jackie's response. 'My dearest love, you must know I was in agony every moment I was away from your loving embrace.' He then twirled softly in her mind as well.

Bob got alarmed that he'd somehow made Skylar mad. But got excited at the possibility of a toy. "Wait! what is thing called toy?" He inquired curiously.

Jaxon equally wondered the same thing. He stayed close to Skylar and Bob. So he followed them into the other room.

"Are we that uncivilized, that we must conduct negotiations across a room and down a hallway? I assure you, I'm unarmed. I only darted you skunk friend. I couldn't have him stinking up the place. You say your pack, so that means your Anna. Because you sure aren't Jason. I'm sorry to hear about your father. But it is the nature of things. The old give way to the young. As far as Zypher and his holdings, that is an entirely different matter. I am the new alpha of my pack and I've got business with Zypher." Sahara stated diplomatically.

Zypher started at the news his mother was no longer alpha. Which meant she was now dead. That was the only way female hyenas gained the alpha position of the pack. And their sisters ensured they stayed as long as possible. He wasn't sure how that made him feel. He had a love-hate relationship with his mother. But knowing she was now gone from this earth, made him feel a little more alone. He looked to Anna with glossy eyes. As his vision blurred he thought to himself, surely he wasn't crying for Aszro or was he?

Star listened to her then nodded and looked away again, thinking. "I do not like death, and if it was just me, I would likely say banishment, but he also kidnapped an innocent princess who had done him no wrong. What is her say in this?" She asked curiously then looked to Avelon. "Is it less cruel to die now or to live on but without any powers when one has lived with them for so long?"

Kyra smiled then shrugged "Yes, in a way" She said then looked out again, holding a flat hand out so one of the butterflies could come and land on her and he could see them better. "Did you know that they can taste things with their feet? If a flower tastes bad to them they will leave it and find a better one."

Ember smiled at that "I was alive then, I saw them. They chose to feed on evil ones. I sat and spoke to them in every city I could find them. Racine may have had them spying, but their nature was to protect, not destroy" She said then glanced around and back to her "And it is not Racine you are serving but the evil human Marcus. Besides, without your stone skin, you are just another soul taking creature"

Jackie looked back to the bowl again "Do you not think it odd that they just stand there? They cannot pass the circle maybe it is time they started to learn of the war that is around them." She said, thinking about it.

Kristen smiled, leaning against his arm for more contact as she returned the twirl in her mind. "I missed you too.I wasn't a very good hostess while you were away" She said, just glad to have him here for now "Rana looks hurt though" She added, speaking through their special bond.

Skylar looked around then pulled out her phone to pull up a website and show them "These are bird toys, I wouldn't want to mess up anything of Jackie's so we will order them." She said and looked from one to the other. She would check her messages once this was done,

"Zypher is a part of my pack" Anna stated and squeezed his hand then walked to the door, watching carefully "Just as Nashton is. You will let them go and leave this place." She said as she reached the doorway, glancing to the sides to be sure she wouldn't be attacked. "This pack never belonged to my father, it is one my brother and I forged on our own and I will not let you destroy it."

Avalon was very impressed with Star's thorough consideration. "You have the temperament and logic of a queen. I have summoned princess Lucille, she's on her way." Said with respect. She then leaned forward and poured them some tea as they waited. She then held Star's over to her. "It'll help to settle your stomach. Such decisions take a toll on one's system." She explained simply.

Lucille swallowed hard as she walked to the queen's camber. Her summoning was most unexpected. Was she to be punished for failing to keep the portal spell away from prince Vatgkan. As she walked down the hallway. She noticed Ender and Falkirk standing there. She suddenly slowed her pace with trepidation.

Graydon looked to the butterflies with wonderment. "Well, it's a good thing I can't smell with my feet. I've smelled them after being in shoes all day. It's enough to make you lose your appetite." He said with humor. He then made a scrunched up face for emphasis.

Jura hissed evilly, "Then they must have been loved! Not imprisoned and cast away to suffer eternally in darkness. Pariah was the only one who cared for us. Then Markus freed us all. He is our master now. You madly have weakened my skin, but I'm far from weak!" She said angrily. She then cast a protection dome around her and the humans. She looked through it's bubble like sheen at the Ember and smirked. She then started chanting a healing spell to mend her broken bones to feed.

The humans sensing that they were no longer safe started to panic. But by then it was too late. They were like fish in a barrel. In their frenzy, the started trampling the others who were knocked down.

Aeval, Pandora, Ena and Bertram sat on the roof enjoying their feast.

Bertram sat on the edge of the wall. He held up a section of leg and said when he swallowed, " Thanks! This tastes like chicken. But I have to say I'm surprised it's even edible. They looked like living stone and very unappetizing."

Aeval glanced to Bertram in his human form and stated, "It tastes of magic. I saw when it's skin changed from stone to soft flesh. Like a bug with it's exoskeleton softened." She then went back to eating.

Pandora snapped a bone an gobbled down a juicy bite. As it worked it's way down her throat, she looked curiously to Bertram. "Why is a Kelpie flying on a Roc? You are water creatures are you not?" She asked.

Ena looked up in intrigue, "AAnd friends with a blue phoenix! You mustn't forget that!"

Bertram chuckled lightly and started explaining the situation.

Cadeon shook his head in negation, "But they can't even get along with themselves. What makes them knowing about us a good idea. Just looks what happens with the small few who do know about us." He expressed his fears.

Orson smiled at Kristen and kissed her gently. " The guests seemed not to notice you lack of attention. But I however, take great pleasure that I call your full attention to me. Is that wrong of me?" He inquired with a velvet voice in her mind. The muted sounds of screaming drew him out of his mind. He looked to the gazing pool and said aloud, " We have other problems. We need to get there. Things just went from bad to worse. " He pointed at the turn of events.

Bob whistled and said, "Pretty! Me love them toys!" He then bobbed up and down, while flapping his wings.

Jaxon smiled at his enthusiasm. "All that for rope and wooden beads?" He said with humor.

Sahara nodded as she looked to Anna as she walked to the doorway. "Then you have much to learn Anna. This being a new pack in a new territory, it must be defended. Which as you can see, it was not. It was relatively easy, really." She explained with a smile. She indicated the two chairs that had been arranged in front of the sectional. "You see, I'm not going anywhere. I claimed a territory that was not defended. So all that's in this building, is mine. My pack is not mixed. But I'm willing to give it a try. You look like a strong female. My male's would fight for you affections, if you submit to me. If you want your pack back, Anna. You must fight me for it " She paused, as she took Zypher's measure. Liking what she saw, she added with a wicked smile, "and for him."

Zypher was struggling to fight his hyena's instincts and his love for Anna. He was literally fighting himself. For part of him wanted to submit to Sahara unquestionably. While the other part, who was bonded to Anna, wanted to fight to protect Anna from Sahara. But as Sahara appraised him, he shamelessly dropped his eyes in submission. He never was alpha material, he just wasn't made that way.

Star smiled, blushing a little even as she accepted the tea from Avelon. "Thank you. I am just trying to see it from others perspectives." She said and looked at the twa, taking a sip thoughtfully. She was still thinking over the entire situation. There was a lot she didn't fully understand but she knew everything he had done with Lucille was wrong despite the questions on what he did to her.

Kyra laughed at his joke and facial expression, scarinf the butterfly into flying away. She shook her head and hugged him again.

"There is a vast difference between being banished and activly being evil." A new voice said as Fey let herself be seen, sending a calming wave at the humans to stop their panic. "One does not force the other. You will be coming with me." The young goddess said and came over to interrupt the healing spell and take hold of the gargoyle with surprising strength. "My father will want to see you, you are interfering in matters you do not understand. "

" Not all humans are evil, most are simply scared of new things, and there are many who would be happy to know mythicals exist." Jackie said then frowned at the screams, gasping when the goddess appeared.

"It is not wrong to me." Kristen said then went to look in the bowl also. She didn't understand what she was seeing in there besides chaos.

"Yep, they are fun to play with" Sklyar said and looked at him with a grin. "Even for wolves."She added with a wink, then started her order from the store and arranged a pickup so someone could go after the things.

"New pack, old territory. Father gave it to us and you are not taking it from us now. This building, this pack, Zypher, they are mine and I don't share with those who would take them from me." She said, ignoring the seats for now. She was getting mad now, this was distracting them from saving her father.

"Yes, that's my point. You don't make a decision motivated by your emotions. You meter out the rights and wrongs, how's and whys, the long and short term consequences." Avalon explained as she settled back again with her own tea in hand. She blew delicately across the rim of the cup and took a tentative sip. She heard Ender announce Lucille's arrival.

Princess Lucille looked to Ender as she finally arrived at the door. "The queen requested my appearance." She explained simply.

"I was informed." He said as he stepped back to open the door for her. "Please proceed, they are both awaiting you." He said. Lucille curtsied before walking in. "Thank you." She said softly.

"What was that for? I caused your butterfly to flee in fear. You should be scolding me, not hugging me." Graydon said happily.

Jura looked to the goddess in amazement. She'd never seen such beauty. But was woken from her transfixed state by the pain that Fey's hold had. "Ouch! You're hurting me! Plus I don't want to see your father." She said like she had a choice. But soon understood she didn't.

Cadeon asked Jackie, "Who is she? You act like you know her."

Orson looked to Jackie with questions in his eyes as well.

Jaxon smiled at Skylar. He'd done more smiling in one day with Skylar, then he'd smiled in his whole miserable life. "And here I thought it was tennis balls that really mattered. " He replied playfully.

Sahara broke out in riotous laughter. As did her sisters by the door. When Sahara finally sobered, the room fell silent once more. "How enduring! See that's the difference between you and me. I've never been given anything. I've fought tooth and nail for everything I've ever had in my life. That is why you don't appreciate what you were given. You've never had to bleed or kill for it. Your father did however, that's why he was greatly respected. But as far as your brother and yourself...." She shrugged nonchalantly "You're still untested. I'm not one to pack up my things and head home, because you deem it. You've already lost it all Anna, you just don't know it yet." She replied. She then sighed deeply, " You only knew I was here because I let you know. You see, we've come to the city to stay. We're anything, if not opportunists. With your father gone, we felt now was our time. You didn't expect to go unchallenged, did you? If you did, that just shows how naive you are. Now sit before I make you!" She demanded.

Zypher stepped forward to obey.

Luce watched silently, as Taylor tried to figure out how to get the door open from this side. They'd heard a sound and went to investigate, but found the door was jammed.

Aurelius paced back and forth, berating herself. She should have said something. Seizures or not. She had to do something. She took the stairs to the roof. She'd never flown before, but it wasn't really flying she needed. But falling to the penthouse balcony below her. She drummed up her courage as she climbed up on the rail. She refuse to acknowledge the shaking of her limbs or her death grip on the bars. She closed her eyes to focus, in order to shift. But nothing was happening. That's when she felt strong hands grab her and pull her back. She opened her eyes to find Degan. "The last I knew, you couldn't fly. Good thing I happened by." He said with a smile.

Aurelius look at him in pure astonishment. She was blind to him, that was why she hadn't seen him. She sobbed and melted into his embrace. "I thought I'd lost you forever!" She said through broken sobs.

"No, tender heart. But we don't have time for this now, do we?" At her confused look, he explained," Omen has told Jason what is going on here and he has rallied his forces. You see, Omen also has the power of foreseeing the future. But he's free of your punishment for sharing it. " He said softly, as he looked down into her tear stained face.

Star nodded and smiled a little "Yes, I don't want to have anyone hurt without a very good reason. " She said then looked to Lucille and smiled, setting her cup down to go over to her "Hello again. I am glad to see you are alright." She said and held her hands out to her to take hers or hug her, whichever the other princess wanted.

Kyra looked up at him with a smile "Because you make me laugh." She said happily.She sighed and looked back to the butterflies "Besides, they are flighty creatures anyway, always scared of something or other"

Fey smiled then shrugged "You will none the less" She said then glanced around the area to heal the injured and release them from the enchantment holding them here before she would disappear with the gargoyle

Rana frowned and looked to Ember then around the area before tentatively standing up and unfurling her wings. She paused though, watching the humans that were too close and would get hurt if she took off now.

"Phaethon, she's a minor goddess" Jackie said then looked over to Orson and Cadeon again "I didn't know she was still around. She worked for Eos for a time, pulling the sun across the sky in the form of a fire horse according to the legends" She explained then looked to the water again "I wonder if they are going to come back again now"

"Oh, tennis balls do matter, but they are too big for Bob to play with, at least in a normal manner. I'm pretty sure he could find a way" Skylar said thoughtfully then looked back to her phone again.

Anna growled and held a hand out to Zypher though she didn't look away from the female in front of her "No." She said, not wanting him to have to listen to her. "If you are challenging me, then do so, don't sneak in like a cat burglar and claim you let yourself get caught.I may have been given this area with my brother, but I am my father's daughter and I will not have anyone try to take what is mine away from me"

Lucille curtsied, then embraced Star. She was alive because of her quick thinking. "As am I. Thank you for your kind words. I must admit, I was more then a little afraid that I was in trouble." She said timidly.

Avalon straightened to look over at them. "My goodness, why?" She asked curiously.

Lucille looked down and said, " I feel I failed you, my queen. "

"Nonsense! You did no such thing. Come and have a seat. Star needs to talk with you." Avalon said.

Lucille looked up to Star surprised. "Yes, my queen." She replied.

"Well in that case, I shalt feel guilty." Graydon teased.

Cadeon whistled with awe. "A goddess?! Just when you think you have the world figured out, you get dropped on your head." He stated good-naturedly.

Orson was thinking about what he'd just witnessed.

Jaxon tipped his head a bit. He'd been joking. He then shook his head at this strangely fascinating female. "Oh, okay. " He said with hidden humor.
