Aeval glanced around and worried for what was out there. She then got an idea, she'd head back in Aurora's direction and maybe they'd encounter it before it got to the battlefield. They to to the sky and they all searched thoroughly for any movement.

Jaxon saw a medical bag sitting opened. "Should we help dress the minor wounds? I'll feel better if my hands are busy." He asked.

"I care not. I did what I had to do. You don't understand what he'll do if you don't. So it's nothing personal, just trying to keep alive." The man said, before he spurred the horse into a gallop rode away from Ember. He whipped it with his reins until it was at a full gallop.

Aurelius was delighted by Danika's unpredictable nature. She lightly returned her hug. "It shouldn't take to much longer. " She said, not wanting to reveal too much. "So what do you like to do for fun?" She asked curiously.

Jackdaw saw Star and worked his way over to her. He bowed and straightened. "Princess Star, So glad to see you again. But it's ultimately better seeing you as an equal as well as free." He said happily. He then glanced around. "I saw Falkirk leave, would you like for me to walk with you until he returns? " He offered politely.

Racine smiled genuine and helped her up. He then folded her left arm around his right and started walking. "I must admit, I was secretly hoping you were going to be in attendance. I do hope I'm not being too forward, we were properly introduced after all." He replied softly.

Elina smiled softly up at him. "Anywhere with you is my perfect place. Be it alone or in a crowded room. You are my constant strength and my reason for drawing breath. " She said with a purr in his mind.

"Nothing yet" Anna said, glancing to him briefly then returning to watching the area. She was glad he was with her again.

Kristen looked at the hyena, stopping near him "Will you let me heal you?" She asked, not wanting to impose or just try without him knowing what was going on. That would have been a good way to get attacked she thought.

"Well, from what I understand of it, it is it's own little pocket realm, just blank. There is no real ceiling, so there would be nothing to bounce sound back to us." Jason said, glancing up then at the ground "Like being in an open field, just having everything be white."

Skylar glanced around then nodded "Yeah, I guess we can help like that" She said then looked to him again and smiled "Does that mean I get to play nurse?" She teased lightly, wanting to lighten the mood a little.

Ember growled and flew after him, trying to turn or stop the horse again "Tell me what you did." She wanted to know what they were up against

Danika looked up to her again "We went to the beach, that was fun. Um...we ran races and that was fun" She said, thinking about what she knew, it wasn't all that much since her memory pretty much started when she had been found and that was only a few days ago.

Star smiled at Jackdaw and nodded "Yes, I was hoping to have a chance to talk to you, so he went on ahead." She informed gently

Sorcha flushed and looked to the floor in front of her feet. She had a reputation for avoiding doing anything like walking with a male, especially twice in the same day. But he was a king, and you didn't refuse one, not that he made her feel like the others did anyway...she had to gather herself again, she didn't even know what she was thinking now. "It's alright" She said then looked back to him again.

"My perfect place is with you." Aaron said and smiled "I like that, that describes it perfectly. All I want is to be with you, no matter where we are, though this is more luxury than I am used to."

"I don't like it. It's like that calm before the storm. " Zypher said with trepidation.

The hyena nodded gratefully for her offered assistance. He then laid down and rolled to one side, so she could get to the leg better.

Keira looked around with a new perspective. "Cool, I'm glad there's a floor.....or ground...or something to walk on. I don't do flotation, especially where there's no ceiling." She said with a chuckle.

Orson walked in to the far portal and started healing the injured wolves that where in there.

Jaxon smiled happily and nodded. "It would seem there is a need at the moment. So would that make me a nurse too or just an assistant?" He asked with humor.

As dirt struck him in the face, he growled his fury and lunged for Aurora. Jaws opened wide as liquid flames for saliva.

Aeval saw Aurora confronting something. With the light covering of dirt, they could get the basic outline. She cut her wins in close and practically dropped out of the sky. At the last minute she flared them to slow their landing, while both sisters stretched forward to grab a mouth full of creature to pull him backwards. Aeval knew fire was Aurora's weakness.

The man drew his weapon as he halted the horse. He took aim and stated, "I released a Hades Hound. Now leave me be or I'll shoot."

Aurelius sighed with wonder. "I've never seen a beach or the ocean. I've seen it through others eyes. But never smelled the air and felt the sand. What was it like? What did it feel like?" She asked enthusiastically.

"Oh, even better. For I was hoping for the same. I value both of your friendship and Dawn of course. Above all others. Because you were loyal to me before I was cleared. That's the true test of genuine friends." Jackdaw replied happily.

Racine sensed her hesitancy and he wanted to distract her from their proximity, "It has been quite a while since I've been in the presence of such an intriguing mind and magical talents. I've heard rumor of such a spell, but I've never had the privilege of seeing it conducted. What was it like from your perspective, princess Sorcha? "

"After living in a cave for so long, it is for me as well. " Elina agreed. She dared to rest her head on his arm as they walked along. "But is sparks certain memories. " She said softly.

Kristen knelt beside him, laying her hand over the injury to try to take it into herself and heal it for him.

Skylar shrugged and picked up some bandages and gauze "Hm, nurse I guess." She said then headed for the nearest small injury

Aurora backed away quickly from the fire, spreading her wings to take off from the ground. She didn't want to leave Aewal but she couldn't fight both invisible and fire "I will be back quickly" She said, glancing around then heading for the water to grab as much mud as she could carry (And a few fish incidentally) She would fly back to drop it on where she thought the hound was to make it even easier to see.

"Hades hound?? Idiot! What in all the worlds are you thinking!?" Ember screeched then shot up, flying quickly back to the battlefield. What was with these humans, releasing things that killed humans as easily as shifters. "Cleaning up human mess again!"

"Maybe we can go later on" Danika said, glancing over then jumping up to grab the seashells she had grabbed and coming back to sit and show her. "I like the beach, the sand is warm and the water sprays up in the air sometimes. It's a happy place. The air tastes like salt and water and sane and good." She said as if good had a taste or smell.

Star smiled and nodded "Yes, I suppose it is. To believe and be there when no one else is. What did you want to talk about?" She would let him go first.

Sorcha looked back up to his face, lighting up a little to be able to talk of her craft. "It is wonderful and dangerous and well, every emotion all at once. You have to let it settle over you then pick through it all to find the time you are searching for. That is why the subject has to be willing to do it, they can bog you down with every memory but the one you search for if they desire to. But it is a draining spell also because you are literally shuffling through the entirety of another's life to show one day, one hour. And if you do the spell wrong, you add in everything they have imagined and all of those emotions also."

Aaran patted her hand gently, glancing around then kissing the top of her head gently "Try to think of the good ones, they are the ones that will help you through all your days." He said then smiled and whispered "My good memories started with our meeting"

Zypher looked across the way just as the portal shut down. "It seems Orson was just waiting for the last one to cross over. " He said.

The hyena closed it's eyes and let Kristen heal him. He breathed easier as the leg was mended. Once the pain subsided, he shifted and sat up. "Thank you. " He said as he tried his arm out.

Orson looked up as he heard voices. He stood when he was it was Jason. "I've healed the last of the major injuries. Should was head to the others? " He asked.

Jaxon went to the another one close by. He'd seen the lab doctors patch him up plenty. So he was well versed on first aid. He spoke soothingly to help calm him.

Aeval watched as her sisters played tug-of-war to keep the thing from turning to get them. When Aurora came back with the mud, it cascaded down to reveal the size of their problem. "What is it?" She asked curiously. But just then, it ripped Fred from Ena hold and tried for Pandora. Aeval trust them out of reach of it retaliatory bite. She hissed angrily at the close call.

The rider was shocked by the swiftness of the blue birds departure. He shook his head at her words. He put his weapon away and clicking at the horse to headed back to the stable.

Aurelius smiled happily at her descriptions. You use words like an artist uses brushstrokes. It sounds truly wonderful. I shall look forward to seeing it myself." She slow started to reach for a shell, but stopped mid motion. She looked to Danika in silent request for permission to touch her valued things.

Jackdaw nodded and grew serious about what he wanted to talk to Star about. "When would you like for me to do the rite fight. Would tomorrow be soon enough? " He asked gently.

"It would seem that you know me even on a level that I, myself might not perceive. I'm not sure how I feel about that." Racine's serious look gave way to a simple teasing smile. "I can help remedy you of your magic drain. My talent is core magic. Have you ever shared or drawn power from another? " He offered sincerely.

Elina enjoyed their easy relationship. She smiled up at Aaran's meaningful confession. "What a coincidence so did mine. Just as every moment after, I ask myself, how did I survive life without you? My beloved knight in shining armor." She said, then twirled softly in his mind. She kissed his shoulder in appreciation.

Jackie came over to them and looked at Jason and Kiera then to Orson "We will need to find Ember to burn the giant. We can't leave him there.

Skylar was not the best, but she could give them bandages for the ones that needed it. Soon enough, those that could were helping their fellows also until everyone was bandaged or healed in the area.

"Hell hound" Aurora said, trying to think of what she had heard about the beasts before. "They usually guard the gates of Hell, though they are also known to protect the secracy of supernatural creatures. Why would it attack?" She glanced back to the battle sight then to Aeval and the dog "Let it go and fly up. The others are safe." She turned to go and get them to close the portal left then watched the dog, curious about it's mission but staying far above ground.

Danika smiled and held the shells closer to her to let her see and touch them if she wanted. She didn't mind, and there were always more at the beach if one did break somehow.

Star blinked then shrugged lightly "That is up to you, you are the one fighting that battle so it will be when you are ready for it." She said then smiled at him

"I have shared with my teacher when I was young then with some of my students" Sorcha answered and looked at him again. "My teacher's talent was core magic, though she did not let anyone but me know."

Aaran smiled and twirled back to her happily. "I will gladly be your knight whenever I am needed in that role, but I prefer to be your friend and love you." He said in her mind then glanced up as they entered another room, they had reached the dining hall

Orson smiled when Jason thanked him. "We are all in this together. We must all do our part. I'm just frustrated that we couldn't help more live." He replied heavily. He then looked to Jackie in consideration. "I haven't seen her for some time." He said honestly.

"She had flown up over the trees the last I'd seen her. I assumed she was following Markus's retreat. But then the shooting happened and we were brought in here." Keira stated.

Orson frowned, "I can open a portal back home, then go search for her, if you'd like?" He offered.

"No, I'll go now. Let me out into the field. Your job here is more important." Bertram said.

Haden growled deeply as the three headed dragon and the blue one left him alone. He focused back on his ordered task. He sprinted ahead to find his targets, the new alphas. But when he made it to the clearing, they weren't there. He tracked them to an area that their scent seemed to disappear. He snarled in aggravation. He then tracked it back to their vehicles, deciding to follow them back to where they came from. Until they parted. On went to the city, the other led away. He chose the woodland road.

Aurelius grinned widely as she carefully picked on up to examine it. She'd read that you could hear the ocean within the shell and tried it. Her eyes lit with amazement at the discovery that it was in fact true. "She giggled in delight. "I hear it. It's in there!" She whispered loudly.

Jackdaw decided on the side of caution. "In that case, I shall take more time to practice. I want to win, after all. Now what did you wish to discuss with me?" He asked curiously.

Racine slowed and held up his left hand. "Then take your fill. If you feel I'm too tainted by Unseelie magic, I'll understand. It has melded with me on a metaphysical level. So it's forever a part of me now. Strangely enough, I have somehow neutralized it with my talent. I sill don't understand how. Take a taste, if you don't believe me." He explained in hushed tones.

Anna gasped and stepped back from the opening when they could see the hades hound covered in mud come to the battleground then follow the trails back. She was suddenly glad they had flown in, but Jason and the pack hadn't. She watched the dragons fly after the hound then looked to Zypher. "We cannot let that stay loose. Everyone too hurt to continue should go to Jackie's."

Kristen had closed the portal at Anna's gasp, going over to open it again when the danger had passed them by.

Jackdaw looked around for princess Lucille. "There she is by the far wall. I think perhaps I should speak with her alone." He replied. He caught sight of Falkirk as he was cutting through the gathered royals. "Besides, you preferred company returns." He said teasingly.

Falkirk caught up to Star and Jackdaw. He wanted to get the key to Jackdaw's old quarters back. With the absence of new royals, they hadn't cleared them out. They'd been put under a stasis spell to preserve any evidence. "Oh, good. A business and a pleasure." He said with enthusiasm. He handed over the key to Jackdaw. "Welcome back, prince Jackdaw Thornwolf. You should find it just as it was left." He replied politely.

Jackdaw took the key with a trembling hand. "Thank you for this. It means a lot to me. I've lived in the woods for so long, I sometimes wondered if this part of my life was a dream."

Ember suddenly flew in, circling then landing as she looked from one to the other, too out of breath from the quick flight to speak for a moment. "Hades hound, Marcus' man released"

"We have to get it closer to the ocean, that is where most of my power is. It is a fire creature, so water will stop it." Aurora said, growling softly. No way was she letting that thing near her babies, even if it killed her...She narrowed her eyes then dived, grabbing the beast to try to fly it to the ocean. She aimed to grab it behind the head, so it couldn't turn and bite her, though she would take any grip she could get on it.

Starr smiled, watching the emotions on Jackdaw's face at the simple gesture that meant so much. She was happy for him, being accepted again after so long away...she knew that feeling and hoped he could find real love as she had.

Sorcha didn't take too much, just enough to make it through until she would be able to sleep later. It was better not to push such things anyway, there was always a cost somehow. She finished and let her hand separate from his, though she was almost reluctant to do so."Thank you." She said then glanced to his face "Now I won't fall asleep in the middle of dinner." She added then smiled to show she was teasing a little.

He then saw Ember fly in and land. Then Jason headed over to speak with her. "What do you think that's about? " He asked quietly.
