"They won't get another chance to kill me. I was foolish to think the threat aginst the Oilin was over. I let my guard down. She had my pendant stolen while I was healing. Had I been vigilant, she never would have succeeded in draining me of my powers. By the time I realized it, it was far too late. I shall do as my ancestors had done in times of war. I'll embed the protection pendant under the skin of my chest. " Orson said, feeling much stronger now.
~~~
Cadeon gasped at the news. "That slimy backstabbing snake! He didn't succeeding getting away with it, did he? Please tell me you have is measurable head as a souvenir." He said with anger, as he sat down with them.
Bertram sighed deeply and shook his head, as he looked back to Bob. Playfully tugging his long tail feathers. Bob nibbled on his fingers with his beak gently.
~~~
Aeval came and leaned on the railing and rested her chin on her crossed arms. After a moment, she spoke, "When I went up aginst the Romans in ancient times, that was the tactics they used. The came at their enemies relentless. Blocking off support and supplies. When their advisories were weak and powerless, they closed in for the kill. How you describe this Markus, sounds very much like them. He has no honor and men of his elk, will do anything to get what they want. I know not enough of magic, but this white witch has stopped them for now. Rest while you can, stay strong and then you have hope. But I never defeated them, they were too many. Shamefully, I went to ground to escape their blood lust for my kind. Stories of perseverance, I have not, just out smarting them with my nature." She smiled slightly at Ember, before looking around the property. "This place is worth fighting for and you have vast resources." She added.
~~~
Falkirk smiled mischievously at Star, a moment before he shifted to his Pegasus. "Shall we fly among the Stars?" He asked mentally, as he fancy pranced.
~~~
Elina had no eyes for the males. They could watch on for all she cared. This male before her was all she needed to be eternally happy. "Such things you say make me want to leave this pompous dinner with you right now." She said upon a whisper as he purred her passion and undying love for him.

Kristen touched his chest then her pendant. "I should do the same with mine. If they cannot take our pendants, then they cannot harm us, right?" She asked, worried for him more than herself. "How can you kill a gargoyle anyway?" She wanted to know, because she was so going to kill that female when she saw her again.
~~~
Jackie shook her head and sighed. "He ran before he showed his colors. Everyone was distracted by Don's death and Jason taking over the Guardians. I still need to call them..." She said then stood and went to make that call to let them know Aurora had to stay here for the night.
~~~
Ember sighed and nodded "True, but they know this place is here now. They know exactly where it is and likely how many are here. They will attack in time with magic to take down her guards. We need to hide Aurora and Orson somewhere...yet we need to have it look like we have not left, set and bait a trap. I wonder if Jackie is up for transporting...or perhaps changing their forms briefly. Hmm" She tilted her head, thinking about it. "Maybe replace everyone here with wolves that have illusions over them to look like the human form of those here now? I should talk to her." She said and juped down, shifting to land in her human form and walk in.
~~~
Starr laughed lightly then shifted to her unipeg form, tossing her head before taking off and circling the garden. She always loved to fly and wanted to with him, he made it eeven more fun than it already was for her.
~~~
Aaron chuckled softly. "Well, we aren't being very social here anyway." He said quietly in her mind as he twirled aloud then purred for her. He didn't much care for crowds anyway, in fact he was only here for her and Racine. Love and a sense of duty, that was what brought him here now and what kept him, though she was a wonderful distraction from thoughts of what happened to the people in the last crowd he had been in.

Islanzadi roamed her town, bowing to everyone she spoke to. Despite her being royal, she was also supposed to bow to others. It was how you greeted other elves.
She went to a field and whistled loudly, calling for her horse. After a few minutes a dapple grey Clydesdale was running in her direction, it had been allowed to roam freely and was trusted to come back to Islanzadi when she called.

Islanzadi stroked its snout and mounted the horse, leading it into the woods to ride.

Orson opened his eyes to look at her. "Yes, it will protect us aginst magic and make it harder to hurt us." He replied softly, as he took her hand in his.
~~~
Aeval nodded at her suggestions and watched her shift and go inside. She thought about everything as she walked around.
~~~
Falkirk galloped and lept up into the air and flapped furiously. He nickered happily as he circled the garden. The moons were high and cast enough light to see by.
~~~
Elina smiled devilishly and said, "You say that like it's a bad thing." She then picked up a small fruit and offered it to him as she placed it in her teeth.
Racine was in deep conversation with Avalon, when he became distracted by Elina and Aaran. He glanced out over the gathering and noted they had become the new entertainment. He spoke shapely in her mind." Elina! This is not the venue for such....scandalous endeavors. If you can not contain yourself, please excuse yourself. We are guests of honor and you are disrespecting our host." He then nodded at what Avalon had been telling him.
Enoch had had enough of the royals around him. He made his pardons and stepped out for some much needed air. He rested his elbows on the grand balcony railing and looked out at the night. Breathing deeply of the cooling night.
