Maxton stopped and looked to the opened portal, before looking back to Kellan. "Very eloquently put, just as it's based in truth." He said in agreement, before he looked back to Navar. "This marker on the warlock, can you stop it?" He asked curiously.

Navar nodded and smiled broadly, "Yes, I have a scrambler in my bedroom. Just keep him in here until I come back with it." He explained as he moved to go to the portal. Only to get pulled to a stop.

Maxton had grabbed Navar's arm to stop him. "Not so fast, Lord Navar. Let's let them search it first." He said calmly.

Orson sighed as he kissed Kristen breathless. He pulled back panting softly as he lowered his forehead to hers.

"It is not for me to say, I'm just a low born servant." Cicero said and then grew quiet after that. He'd already spoke too freely. But to watch them together so in love and helpless to the thrall, had pulled at his heartstrings. He look over alert at the first subtle movement. He watched with interest as more of their group came into the portal. He studied them as much as they studied him.

Cadeon carried a bundled up Bob in his arm carefully. He followed the rest of the group out to the portal. Garth, Jaxon and Aeval easily carrying a still sleeping Aurora in her arms. Nektar and Kyth stepped through close to last. They all looked to the Sylph with curiosity. Even with Jackie's heads up about him.

Ember took Xavier by the arm and watched quietly as the fey checked the apartment. "Our friends are throughout this building. " She said, glancing to Navar then smiling "Anna and Zypher are alphas of this pack, that now also includes a pack of hyenas."

Kellan dipped his head in appreciation for the compliment then looked to the portal, waiting a moment before going through himself. He was as curious as the others about Earth and the people on it.

Jackie paused at the portal, making sure she was the last one then closing it and turning to her home. She took a deep breath before starting the spell to send her home to another realm while leaving an empty copy of it here for the wolves to trap.
Sergio, I need your physical form. Jackie thought to the gargoyle Keep me standing until the diamond flashes. She was afraid she might not have enough strength even with the stored energy in the other gems, but there was no turning back now.

"You mustn't blame yourself. Somethings are beyond our control." Carrow said with tenderness.

They thoroughly searched the apartment for dangers, before Xatia came back to the portal opening and shrugged, "All clear. " Xatia said slightly disappointed.

Maxton then released Navar's arm and walked over to the portal opening. He stepped through after Navar and offered his hand to Shaylee.

Xavier looked to Ember worriedly. We're they going to kill him after they questioned him? He thought with trepidation.

Sergio manifested in a flash of light. Sergio came to her to offer all the support and strength Jackie needed. "I'll be here for you, Jackie. Have no fear." She said softly.
