Carrow shrugged and said, "We have thirty minutes to kill, we'll just look around. Willow you can stay here since you don't like crowds. " She then got out snd waited for Cole.

Cole opend the car door and got out "I follow you" he said

Islanzadi had been wandering around the forest with her horse, and decided that it was time to visit the city again. Leaving her horse behind since it would be odd to have him in the city, she went out of the forest and behind a building so nobody would see, and casually walked to the sidewalk.

She looked around the city. Despite it all being artificial, the lights truthfully did make the place beautiful. Islanzadi would never consider staying for long, but it was still impressive.

Islanzadi took out a piece of old paper and attempted to draw a skyscraper she had passed while she walked.

Kellan smiled and handed over the drumsticks then moved to the side to watch and listen to the song since it was different than any songs he would know.

Anna giggled softly at his eyebrows wiggling like that then sobered and stood to sing along with the melody

Rana laughed then stood to take off and fly up there, landing on the shelf then walking in a little. She had to stop and lower herself so they could get off and Ember could unlock and open the doors for them. It wasn't a long flight, but she had to make it longer to keep them from having a chance of falling off or losing the bags.

 The doors were thick oak and iron bandings, made strong enough to repel a siege back in medieval times while the inside was what seemed to be pure stone. Natural light found it's way inside through windows high overhead, the ceilings a good 13 - 20 feet over them. Shelves lined the walls that were filled with paintings and artifacts from every era and every continent, though the best ones would have to be seen after going through the halls and finding the safe room. They entered into a foyer that led one way to the living space and the other to the kitchen and dining area. 


Ember led the way left to get to the kitchen and put away the groceries, setting the clothed on the dining table. The entire place would likely make them feel like they had entered a real castle from the inside, up to and including torches on the walls to bring light at night.

Shaylee smiled happily at that and nodded "That it is, you surprised me though" She said gently. "I never would have expected a twirl this soon, but I guess with being in eachother's memories and minds that that made it come faster?"

Ian flushed and dipped his head "I try to be, I always have believed in that old adage, treat others how you want to be treated." He said happily and started to walk.

Skylar smiled softly and shrugged "It's not just the pups, you also came to see the mythicals, like the unicorns and the pegasus" She said, pointing over to the pond where they went to drink

Anna's voice was beautiful. Zypher could listen to her singing forever. Plus Jason, Navar and himself made pretty good music together.

Once they dismounted and walked inside Ember's cave, Cadeon and Sandor were rendered speechless. In fact they walk around with their mouths agape as the tried to see it all at once. But Cadeon noticed that Ember has gone left and followed her. "Wow! Yeah, I wasn't expecting this. You live like a queen with a castle!" He said with astonishment.

Sandor looked at the shelves in the living area quietly.

"I surprised myself. I wanted you to get to know me more, Princess Shaylee. I wanted to court you proper and I blew it, didn't I? But I won't regret it, not for an instant." He said with respect. But then he got to thinking about everything that he'd been doing since being around her. In hindsight it was pretty obvious he'd been responding to her from the moment she'd freed him. He'd been courting her the waterhorse way and she'd responded in kind. He smiled softly as he looked to their colors and how the mimicked eachother.

Lexi looked to the ground as they walked. His kind words striking a chord with her. Guilt filled her over what she'd done to him. The sharp pain returned, but this time she showed no outward sign. She gritted her teeth until it passed. She then said quietly, "That is a good moral to have."

They'd all forgot about that. They looked curiously to the water to see the unicorns and pegasus. They were all pure white and beautiful. "Look at them all!" Kash said with appreciation.

Jaxon and Garth were equally awed by them.

"Then it's Denny's or IHOP. We can get fresh fruits and mest at the store while we wait for our orders. We'll get a sampling of their menu so everyone can get what they like." Carrow stated as she looked to Cole. "What do you think? Will thst work? " She asked uncertain.

Ember flushed and looked to the bags as she wet out the fruits in bowls on the counter. "This is what happens when you live a long time and accumulate stuff. Everything in here is from the time period it originally came from, though the oldest were given as gifts and were old when I got them." She said, glancing up and around. "I can easily lose myself in here." She said then sighed and shook her head, grabbing the cold bags "Come, you should see the pantry so you know where it's at." She said, turning to a door and going in to follow the stairs down to a second door. That door led to where the water came out of the rock in a natural cold spring.

She had a shelf that was built in that would keep her items in place and not let them be washed away, though anything left there would be wet. She started to place the milk and other cold things inside, glancing to see if Cadeon had followed her to the cold room and shivering a little. She knew the room was needed but she didn't much like the cold herself. The room itself was only about fifty degrees, but the water was closer to thirty. It was mixed with runoff from the icy peaks high above.

Shaylee dipped her head a little then looked to him again "We have been in eachothers memories.There is not much more you can do to get to know another than to know their pasts and how they act." She said gently.

Ian nodded and watched the ground for his radio. "Yeah, all of us are taught that from the time we are pups, not everyone follows it, but we are taught." He said, joking a little. He glanced to her again then back to the ground. "Those who don't learn that usually leave on their own. They may become warriors, but they will never be a guardian. Guardians are more than just warriors, we are also protectors. That is our main job, to protect those who cannot protect themselves. To keep the forest and all it's creatures safe as much as is possible."

Skylar smiled at the sight, glad they were enjoying that. "All these here are single natured, we have watched over them since they were young, some since they and their parents were born. That is what being a Guardian is, even if they can't speak to us in English, we keep them safe." She said softly

Cicero flew until he'd seen most of the city from high. He landed in an alleyway to use the glamor Shaylee had given him. He check to make sure his wings were hidden before venturing out onto the main streets. He then walked for awhile. He was looking up at a building, when the unexpectedly walked into someone. He looked to the women and apologized as he bent to pick up her drawing that had been knock out of her hand. "Oh! Forgive my carelessness. I should have been watching where I was wondering." He looked at the drawing curiously and was amazed by the detail. "You are a wonderful artist, by the way." He complemented graciously as he handed it back to her.
