"My, I've never really heard of anything like that before. That sounds amazing." Islanzadi said. She hadn't even really ever heard of a fountain before, but she wasn't going to tell him that.
"I have visited this place before, not just this time, but I usually don't go and do anything fun."

Ember flushed and looked to the bags as she wet out the fruits in bowls on the counter. "This is what happens when you live a long time and accumulate stuff. Everything in here is from the time period it originally came from, though the oldest were given as gifts and were old when I got them." She said, glancing up and around. "I can easily lose myself in here." She said then sighed and shook her head, grabbing the cold bags "Come, you should see the pantry so you know where it's at." She said, turning to a door and going in to follow the stairs down to a second door. That door led to where the water came out of the rock in a natural cold spring. 


She had a shelf that was built in that would keep her items in place and not let them be washed away, though anything left there would be wet. She started to place the milk and other cold things inside, glancing to see if Cadeon had followed her to the cold room and shivering a little. She knew the room was needed but she didn't much like the cold herself. The room itself was only about fifty degrees, but the water was closer to thirty. It was mixed with runoff from the icy peaks high above.

Shaylee dipped her head a little then looked to him again "We have been in eachothers memories.There is not much more you can do to get to know another than to know their pasts and how they act." She said gently.

Ian nodded and watched the ground for his radio. "Yeah, all of us are taught that from the time we are pups, not everyone follows it, but we are taught." He said, joking a little. He glanced to her again then back to the ground. "Those who don't learn that usually leave on their own. They may become warriors, but they will never be a guardian. Guardians are more than just warriors, we are also protectors. That is our main job, to protect those who cannot protect themselves. To keep the forest and all it's creatures safe as much as is possible."

Skylar smiled at the sight, glad they were enjoying that. "All these here are single natured, we have watched over them since they were young, some since they and their parents were born. That is what being a Guardian is, even if they can't speak to us in English, we keep them safe." She said softly

Cadeon followed Ember down to the cold room and looked around curiously. He pug his hand in the water and said, "Now this is really cool, and I mean that both ways." He said with humor. But frowned as he saw her shiver. He stood up and took off his outer long sleeved shift and draped it around her. "Is that better? " He asked tenderly, as he wrapped her in his arm from behind, trying to lend her his warmth.

Sandor glanced to Roc and said quietly, "Thanks for not dropping me back there. I actually enjoyed the ride up here. At first, I thought I'd cry like a sissy, but fortunately my dignity is still intact. "

Ravek smiled softly at Shaylee sweet words. "You are very right. Perhaps before we were blinded by our friendship and closeness. But with separation, we finally see eachother beyond that definition. Or am I thinking too much? " He replied mentally to her.

Lexi listened quietly as Ian spoke of all the qualities she'd been engineered to not possess. She'd stayed far longer then she needed to, But she couldn't bring herself to leave. She looked to the watch on her wrists and knew if she didn't return to get the vaccine, she'd die. But here she was, walking with a leisurely pace, as if she had no care in the world.

Dragon, unicorns and pegasus, Kash marveled. He called out in the unicorn tounge. Just to see what would happen.

Garth looked at him strangely, but kept walking.

Jaxon watched Skylar as she spoke and led them onward. She was so passionate about Sanctuary and their work here. It showed within her through her eyes. He really liked seeing her this way, because it looked good on her.

Ember held his arms there and smiled softly "It is, but this is why I don't stay down here long, Usually just long enough to grab what I need then leave quickly." She said then looked to his face as well as she could "Come on, this should be fine in here now" She said, ready to leave the bitter cold. She felt that a lot more than he would, simply because she was a fire creature.

Rana chuckled softly and looked to him again "I am always as gentle as I can be with those I am tasked with allowing to ride me." She said then smirked "Even those who pull feathers, though those I do tease a bit more once we are on the ground again."

Shaylee chuckled softly then dipped her head before shaking it "I do not know if you are thinking too much on it or not, but it sounds plausible." She said then looked to him again "This will be a surprise when we go back to the others in the city. Oh, I am supposed to meet them at dawn there." She said, moving to look up to see if the sun had risen yet.

Ian looked around the forest floor, though he noticed her glance to her watch "Is there somewhere you need to be?" He asked and glanced to her then back to the ground "If the reason you need to see Jackie is a timed thing, we may be able to call on one of the fae or another magic user to help instead."

Several unicorns whinnied back to him when he spoke then one came closer and stopped out of reach, looking to them then nickering and pawing the ground. The older ones remembered when fae had lived on Earth and the language they had spoken then

Skylar paused again, looking to the mare then to Kash in surprise as he talked and the unicorn responded. She grabbed Jaxon's hand as she stared at the two.

"Your wish is my command, Lady of castle Ember." Cadeon said playfully as he scooped Ember up in his arms to carry her. "You will however, have to get the doors." He said in an after thought.

Sandor blushed and looked around the room nonchalantly as he whistled softly. He hadn't thought she'd felt his death grip on her plumage. He then glanced back and smiled meekly.

Ravek swam out the hole and offered, "We can start back if you like or walk on the beach for a time. "

Lexi smiled genuinely and shook her head. "No, there's no need to rush. I'm just mindful of my time and how I'm spending it. Is that so bad?" She asked quietly.

Kash spoke for a time, then fished out some dried fruits ftom Navar's and offered them in friendship. He set them on the ground and bowed graciously, before walking away to join them again. "I did not know if they remembered." He said with a smile.

Jaxon held Skylar's hand and watched the whole thing. As did Garth.

Cicero nodded at that concept. "That has been my life up until now. So I'm making the best of my freedom. Would you like to see the fountains? " He asked curiously.
