Carrow sighed and shook her head. She told the what had happened exactly and that's why Willow was acting that way.

Ginger grided her teeth,"I don't care!ive had enough of the way she is acting."she snapped,

Morgana agreed quietly.she finished quickly and whent to sit in a corner.she sat down and rocked back and forth.

Slygotha curled around her clutch of eggs, purring and rumbling to them in a deep rumble. Her lair, in some fetid swamp in a forgotten corner of a deep forest, oozed with a poisonous sludge that shed from her gaping maw. She carefully bathed her eggs with a thick slime, as her belly rumbled. She had been starving, staying with her eggs for so long, watching them, fondling them, talking to them, for almost a year. Soon, it would be time for them to hatch. Hatch, and eat, with appetites that belied their small statures. Slygotha loathed the idea of leaving her lair, but she needed to break her fast, and her hatchlings would need to be fed once they hatched.
Slygotha rose to her feet, a Leviathan of the swamp, and lumbered slowly to the opening of the cavern, grown over with thick, poisonous vines. Pushing them aside with her huge head, she blinked in the filtered sunlight streaming down from the overgrowth. The boggy water sucked at her massive claws with every step as she made her way to the clearing for takeoff. She crouches, gathering her haunches under her like a spring, then unfurled her black wings, streaked a little with a poison green and electric orange, a nod to her poisonous skin. She rose into the air like a massive airship, slow, lumbering, ungraceful.

"And is the second half done with the true mastery of a worthy apprentice? " Cadeon asked curiously.

Sandor glanced to Rana as she sat down with him and agreed, "Ember is a remarkable woman. Phoenix or not, she's a genuine individual. Kind, thoughtful and caring. I can tell all this and I've only known her for a couple hours. Just as I can see, her friends possess the same moral ethics." He replied honestly.

Lexi froze in his sincere gaze. She tried to swallowed the lump in her throat, but couldn't seem to. But she finally managed to croak out, "Ian, you truly make me want to be a better person. But I fear, I'll always be tainted by that place. "

Elina smiled sinfully and leaned into Aaran and kissed his cheek. "As the humans expression goes, "No news is good news." She said happily.

Falkirk smiled and dipped his head in appreciation of her indulging him.

Qdoba went to work to brushing out the tangles, before preceding to style Star's hair in that fashion. It was fairly simple and didn’t take very long at all.

Falkirk watched and listened to their easy conviction, adding his own thoughts here and there. When their food came, the servant set it on the table and curtsied before leaving them. He looked to the finished product and complemented, " You are truly radiant, my shining Star."

Avalon smiled to Sorcha and sighed softly. Thankful that her hand was healed. " I knew it wasn't going to be easy. I must admit, that I had a false sense of hope, that maybe it was going to be easy after all. They'd agreed to all the other clauses and amendments." She paused and looked to the wall acrossed the room, gathering herself before she continued, "But when they started attacking you cruelly, I could have struck them down right there. For I was the reason you were in harms way. Because I'd asked you to sit with me. I could not have done that alone, Sorcha, not I'm my current state of mind. " She explained quietly with sorrowful look.

Markus remembered that Amar didn't have a horn and this unicorn did. He watched them silently and smiled. He finally had his unicorn. His collection was almost complete. He thought to himself.

"The apprentice surpassed the master I believe" Ember said, showing him the next pages slowly so he could see them.

Rana smiled and dipped her head at that. "Just as the pack has the same moral standing. We believe in what is right and trying to keep others safe from harm."

"Our pasts do 'taint' us, but they do not have to be our futures." Ian said and smiled at her then turned to finish making his way to where he had dropped the radio to grab it and put it back on his belt where it belonged.

Aaran chuckled and nodded "If we are called, we will go, but if not...well, we will enjoy the hospitality of this queen."

Star blushed and smiled happily at the compliment. "Thank you" She said frst to the servant then to Falkirk as she reached up to touch the braid curiously. "I always like what Qdoba can do with my hair. She is wonderful." She said and glanced to her with a happy smile.

Sorcha held the queen's hand and shook her head "Do not blame yourself for that, I would have been by your side even if I had known it would go that way from the start. Honestly I expected more resistance to some of the other clauses, resistance to one that would only benefit our people was surprising to me."

Shaylee looked to Danika's arms and sighed softly, touching what remained of the bruises from being held. Quietly she whispered a spell to heal them fully then settled in place, holding the young girl again. She wished she could contact Ravek and let him know what had happened, being away from him after twirling together would be hard on them both.

Carrow sighed, not knowing how to make things right. But decided not to let it ruin her whole day. They had to find Heather after all. She looked to Morganavery concerned, as she rocked herself in the corner.

As she gained altitude, she took one last lingering glance at her partially hidden lair before laborously pumping her wings in her slow flight. Smaller creatures, startled by her sudden appearance, scattered away in abject terror, but she paid no mind. She was after bigger game. She scanned the broken canopy for something large enough to feed her soon to hatch little ones, and herself besides. She headed for the distant shoreline, looking for a beached whale.

Qdoba smiled and curtsied again. "I value your praise about all others, for I know it's from a grateful heart, Princess Star. I see you breakfast has arrived. I shall leave you to it." She said as she put the brush back on the vanity.

Falkirk dipped his head and said, "Good day, Qdoba."

Avalon embraced Sorcha and held her tight. "You have always been with me in all the trials of my life. You are a most beloved friend. Thank you for all you have done for me and the crown, Sorcha." She said softly.

Markus looked to Pariah and asked, "If one is a unicorn, what is the other?"

Pariah hissed at Markus relentless questions. She couldn't read with him here. "She's a fey Princess by the name of Shaylee. Why don't you go meet her." She suggested calmly. She sighed with relief as Markus got up and headed for the door.

"For the record, I'm going because in curious, not because you suggested it." Markus stated matter-of-factly, as he shut the door behind him.

Ian smiled at her again. "Yeah, so am I. Can't keep up with the others without this. Lexi, we will have a shift change soon. Would you like to come see my daughter with me?"

Aaran chuckled at the suggestion. "Hmm, I'm afraid that you will have to teach that one to me, my lovely tiger princess. " He said teasingly

"Good day Qdoba." Starr echoed and smiled at the other female. She didn't see her as a servant, but a friend that had the job of helping her. She looked to Falkirk again after Qdoba left then started to eat with him.

Sorcha returned the hug with one of her own. "What else are friends for? I don't want to even think of losing you to that madness, not that I minded his station in the first place. I have hoped for a resolution to your problem since I first noticed it. I am certain that you will have happiness, even if it takes a little more time." She said privately. She wouldn't mind Spyro hearing, but she didn't want anyone else to, and with the way that meeting had gone, she wasn't entirely sure who could be trusted now.

Shaylee held Danika until the door opened. She quickly stood and placed the girl behind her, looking at the male curiously for several seconds before she spoke "So, you are this Marcus I have heard so much about since coming to this realm. You stinck of Pariah's magic. "

After what felt like several hours, Slygotha approached a wretched shoreline, littered with broken ships and mangroves hugging the salty, fetid swamp as it sluggishly rolled into the ocean when the tide was low. Her own boggy home eventually drained here. She slowly circled along the shore, like an enormous bomber sized vulture, looking for a corpulent corpse.

Falkirk choose a delectable morsel and offered it to his beloved mate. He only wanted the best for her. He smiled lovingly to Star as he held the fork with anticipation of fulfilling that urge. Just one of many in their courtship.

Avalon pulled back to look to Sorcha. "May I asked that you speak with King Racine. To see if he'll let Ender free of his blood oath? If not, then all this was for not." She asked her privately.

Markus scoffed at the accusation. He smell himself and said, "I don't smell nothing. Except laundry in cologne. So you're a fey Princess? I meet a fey king once. He made this place fey proof. I traded him a fire dragon that looked like the Oilin. I haven't seen that dragon again or the king for that matter."

After a while, Slygotha noticed the stench of a huge, wet corpse, well on its way to becoming a loose mass of fetid flesh. Soon she spotted the slowly decaying remains, amid a buzzing mass of flies. A sperm whale had washed up on the shore. Grinning, she slowly circled, settling on top of the squishy, smelly mass. She sank her claws deep into the spine, and one into the skull, so as not to drop any of the precious cargo. Satisfied, she took off again, so slowly, laborously.
