Reaper had found king Racine sitting in the garden. Reaper shifted to his human form and walked over to him. "I'm sorry to intrude, king. But since there was no battle, I desire to go home now. I have enjoyed my time here, but my mate is with our brood. I've lost track of the days here, since they are so long, I know they must be close to hatching." He explained simply.

Racine looked to him and dipped his head to Reaper. "Yes, I completely understand you had previous obligations. With all that has happened, I neglected to remember that. I do appreciate your help in coming here. If you're ready now, I'll take you there? " He said respectfully. At Reaper's affirmation that he was ready, he opened a portal to take them to the gate between worlds. As the stepped out on the other side, he started chanted in fey the spell that would open the gate. When the black space turned to liquid silver, he turned to Reaper and said, "Safe journey my friend."

Reaper smiled and dipped his head, "And may you have a prosperous peace. You have a beautiful world here and I found your fairies quite tasty. " He said with a chuckle, as he stepped through the gate. On the other side, he exited the cave and shifted to his dragon form. He breathed in the familiar earth air and roared happily. He then launched himself into the air with a flurry of wing beats. With purpose, head back to his home territory and his mate.

Cicero nodded and explained, "It's a flat fountain with jets that shoot up from the ground. (See fountain pictures for reference) I wouldn't mind seeing that one again. It was very fun to play in. "

Islanzadi chuckled. She had never really played before, but she was interested in seeing the fountain.
"Well, let's go then. If you want." She told him.

Cicero nodded and offered his hand to her out of pure impulse. "Yes, I'd like that very much. " He said happily.

Slygotha dragged what was left of the bloated whale corpse through the watery muck into the mouth of her lair. Its walls were coated with a thick, almost gelatinous slime, a product of her acid breath. This helped make the lair less accessable to most animals, as the corrosive acid was not very pleasant to touch. The stagnant, smelly water pooled along various places of the cavern floor, along with random piles of muddy bones. Very little within her lair wasn't covered in mud or acid, especially at the entrance. She wanted it to remain as foreboding as she could make it, leaving obvious signs just inside as to what dwelled within. For good measure, she marred the boulders shoring up the side of the entrance with deep gouges from her claws; a warning to those who might wander inside a mother's lair. Besides the gashes in the rocks, most of the opening was obscured by a thick tangle of vines that she was careful not to break as she passed through, she felt that this offered a camouflage better than any other she could think of. If anything decided to invade anyways, she was quick to make a meal of it.
She tossed the remainder of the carcass near her nest. She looked beyond her nest, towards her hoard. Her eyes glittered as she beheld it. Not a coin out of place. It was the one place in her lair she did not coat with a layer of acid: it would melt her hoard. It was an elevated cavernous expanse, a small step up from the swampy nest. After gazing at her hoard for a bit, she turned her attention to the eggs. She curled protectively around them, her worn belly scales scraping the edges of the muddy nest. Purring to them, she opened her cavernous maw and gently bathed them in her poisonous and corrosive acid. She snuffled each egg gently, humming with a deep throated tone that made everything vibrate.
One of the eggs shifted slightly to the left. She turned to face it, her irises narrowing, her orange crest quivering with excitement. It would not be too long now...

Cicero nodded and offered his hand to her out of pure impulse. "Yes, I'd like that very much. " He said happily.

Islanzadi politely took Cicero's hand, feeling kind of awkward because she wasn't really used to anyone offering their hand.
"Okay. Lead the way." She said and smiled.

When Reaper was halfway home, he stopped briefly to collect the king's payment for his services. He unearthed the bags of various gold items, from coins to jewelry encrusted with gems. He position them carefully within his jaws, before dropping off the high ledge to continue his homeward voyage. He hoped Slygotha was pleased with his bounty. As he flew, he cautiously watched the skies for the man made flying beasts. He didn't want to led danger back to his family. He recalled the fey speaking of the war between the shifters and the humans. It was not his concern, for Slygotha and himself had persevered thus far in their home swamp. As he finally found the clearing in the canopy that would lead him to their lair, Reaper descended and landed with a squishy impact as his legs sank into the putrid mud. Even though he was a ways ought and had to walk to get to their lair, he started vocalizing with a low pulsing rumble. It was a sound that was felt more then heard. He was announcing his presence to Slygotha, as he approached closer. He knew well, you did not want to surprise a mother dragon.

"Okay. Lead the way." She said and smiled.

Cicero smiled and did as Islanzadi said. He'd noticed her hesitancy in taking his hand. He'd almost withdrew the offered appendage but was delighted when she took it. It was still pretty early, so there wasn't that many people out yet.

Cadeon wrapped Ember in his arms. He then said, "I love you beyond compare. What you just shared with me, was far more then just you possessions. You shared of your self and I'm glad you thought me worthy enough to do so." He then closed the distance between them to kiss her tenderly.
~~~
Sandor chuckled nervously and admitted, "Well, I really don't need to see the bedrooms. I won't be a guest here, so that would be pointless. As far as the library, you said Ember and Cadeon are in there, so I won't be a bother to them. I'm fine with just sitting and talking. I've enjoyed our conversations so far."
(Where Lyra, did she leave?)
~~~
Elina thought of something they could do. "Do you want to see the Anstrophia sea? We can take the mirror to get there. Where it would take day to travel there, with the mirror it's instantaneous. " She asked hopefully.
~~~
Jackdaw hurriedly came over to sit across from Star and Falkirk's seats. He then waited for Falkirk to resume his seat, before he started telling the everything.
~~~
Avalon smiled and said with great pleasure, "Elina and Aaron twirled last night. I heard it several times and they were lost to eachother's company."
~~~
"All I want is your DNA. Now what Pariah wants with you, I shudder to think. I'm curious to know what your other form is. You are a royal, aren't you?" Markus asked coolly.
Ember smiled as they kissed, happy to have him here with her and sharing the stories she had learned in her lives.Even though she knew he would only live one lifetime, she was determined to make this one good for both of them.
~~~
Rana nodded and looked to the living room area as she went to find a seat there "I said they might be, but even if they are, they could be on any level there." She said then looked to Lyra, who was in a chair reading a newer book before taking a seat on the couch. "You still need to get back home before their new young starts to worry about them."
~~~
"That sounds like it would be amazing" Aaran said happily and nodded. "We could go and play in the sea together...unless there are dangers there now too?" He asked curiously. He wanted to learn all he could of this realm and her home.
~~~
Star listened to him speak quietly, amazed by all that had happened back home with the Guardians and the forest over the years.
~~~
"Aaran is not a normal fae, but I do not know what he is." Sorcha said thoughtfully. If she hadn't been as tired, she would have likely known that already, but she had been tired and distracted by her affection towards Racine. She had no idea what to do about that, since she couldn't contemplate leaving Avalon or her court
~~~
"DNA?" Shaylee asked with a frown, thinking on the memories borrowed from the humans the evening before "Ah, blood, right? What do you think you can get from my blood?" She asked then shook her head "Pariah wants me as dead as she wants all other fae that had a hand in sending her to another realm for her punishment. Dead with as much pain as possible. Yes, I am a princess of Anstropfia, one of many."

Slygotha, anticipating the arrival of her wyrmlings, knew that with this first movement, hatching would start within a week. The wyrmlings needed to rotate for hatching, just like any other young that hatched. Quivering with excitement, her droning hum became punctuated by a deeper, resonating tone. It approached from outside her lair: it was her mate! Reaper must have finished his conquest. Slygotha anticipated victory and plunder, as she knew he would bring home nothing less. Turning to face the door, Slygotha let loose a roar, letting Reaper know that she recognized him, and that he was welcome to approach. She gently licked the egg that had been wiggling before unwinding from her nest to receive her mate.
