Razeth, Nevitha and Valstrath looked up at the cave ceiling with part curious intrigue and fearful trepidation. "Den mother what is that sound?" Valstrath asked.
Navar stood to go gear up. He looked over questioningly as Ackley stepped forward with another to go speak with Anna.
"I would also volunteer my services, as would Maxwell here. That is if it pleases you, Alpha Anna?" Ackley asked as she knelt down with her head tipped slightly to expose her throat to her. Maxwell followed suit with his eyes alight with decided purpose awaiting her decision.
Zypher leaned back in his chair and sipped his coffee quietly. He looked to Anna for her decision as well. He loved seeing his beautiful alpha take control of her pack. He'd lived so long without a pack, it was very comforting to have it once again.

Maxton felt for Aurora's loss. "I'm sorry for your loss, Aurora. The loss of one's mate is inconceivable and to to endure its loss and not give into the void, is a testament of your strength and love for your daughters. " Maxton stated with heartfelt sincerity.
Xavier looked to Aurora with sympathy in his eyes.

Ender was surprised himself. But choose not to mention it. He called upon Racine and spoke privately through the blood bound.
~
Avalon listened with growing concerns as to what this ment to her people.
Racine made a soft sound as Ender reached out to him through the blood link. "We have some guests of a different persuasion out in your garden queen Avalon. A princess Foneth of the great dragon clan, to be exact. It would seem our Ender has returned with new friends. "
Avalon stared mutely at them as his words were processed fully. "Friendly or hostile?" She asked guarded.
Racine shrugged, "Friendly is my impression of their motives. But you'll have to go to them, my darling sister. For they're far to large to fit inside your tiny doors." He said with mild humor. "We'll continue to search for clues about these Hythishens in your absence. " He added with reassurance.
Avalon nodded gravely and moved for the stairs, "Thank you both. I'll be interested in anything you find." She said.
Spyro silently followed after her as well as sending out a call for alert to all the other Sylphs. He informed them of the new arrivals in the garden. "My queen, are you sure this is not a trap? Is it wise to head out blindly?" He cautioned gently.
"Ender would never hurt me. Let alone bring someone here to do so. I thought you knew your brother better?" Avalon spoke with underlying emotion. She was struggling with her overwhelming eagerness to see him again.

"When it's all you know, it's not so much. That human saying, " ignorance is bliss" comes to mind. You'll get home, Shaylee. " Anton said with a smile. After hearing about her world, it did make earth seem so bland.

Rouha stepped forward into the toxic mix of acid laden mud and swamp water. He used his hands to feel the poisonous vines. He explored them carefully due to the thorns that covered them. He smelled with his keen nose the dragonish aroma hidden by the over abundance of acid. He grunted to his handler obediently that there was a connection between their target and the strange plant life growing here.
Slygotha growled low, the air reverberating with her alarm. "Hide yourselves in the hoard, my wyrmlings. Something stirs outside. It approaches. I will let no intruder go unpunished in my territory." She approached the entrance of the den. Her glowing green eyes were barely discernable behind the thick mass of vines obscuring the entrance. Like a specter, they rose behind the vines. Her ire rumbled deep in her throat as she observed trespassers in her swamp. Slygotha preferred indirect means when threats didn't work. They seemed immune to her overgrowth spell. She would try something else. Humming, she closed her eyes, then opened them very wide, now lacking color in them. They glowed black, with darkness radiating from them the black creeped out from her, obscuring everything around her, consuming light, absorbing it. She blew forward, her breath pushing the darkness spell to hang over the Intruders, hoping to cause confusion. Once that spell was in place, her eyes returned to normal. She could barely make out anything through the darkness shroud that hung over the landing, even with her dragonish eyes. Satisfied, she started to chant, weaving her claws in intricate patterns. Slygotha called out to every creepy crawly thing of the bog, every bug, slug, and snake, to swarm the warm things in her space. She grunted gruffly, snorting as the swarm gathered to flank the Intruders.
