(you'll tell me if I bend the rules, right? Since there are no rules.... I have some interesting ideas, anyways, but I almost want to keep them a surprise. But if it's too much, you just let me know and I'll edit. I am eager to see what Reaper does right now!!!!! I wanna see some seething dragon rage)

( Don't worry about that. Most days we're just winging it as well. Lol! :D I hope to answer these tomorrow. It's 1:40 am here and I'm beat. )

Anna giggled at the ticklish sensation and smiled at him again. "You are reading my thoughts, love" She whispered softly. She was glad of that, since it meant that the fae bond was strong enough to allow him to read her thoughts even if he had to speak to reply to them.
~~~
Aurora watched the city as time passed, waiting for Xavier to finish his meal so she could take the dishes back and they could finish getting ready then go.
~~~

Sorcha looked to him then around the area again "If you think it is needed, though I would ask what made it taboo?" She asked, facing him and reaching to take his hand so they could be connected again, ready to do this spell or any other as needed.
~~~
Foneth raised her head from the bush, looking to Avalon then dipping her head in respect. "Greetings Queen Avalon" She glanced to Ender herself, hoping she got the name right before focusing on the queen again. "We hope for a new alliance between our peoples as well. This separation has gone on for a very long time."
~~~

Shaylee smiled and made herself as comfortable as she could on the floor, trying to fall asleep now.

(I know, lol :pop )

Echo team geared up under the assault as if they were entering a place with unbreathable air, which they would if they came any closer themselves. They would cover any skin that showed, taping down pants legs and sleeves to prevent the bugs getting inside while spraying pesticides and using tasers on the bigger creatures that came out. They didn't care about keeping any of these creatures alive for study, they were after much bigger prey.

"And here I thought I was an original thinker." Zypher murmured softly as playfulness lit his tone. He slowly inched up her neck to tease Anna's earlobe with his lips. He couldn't explain it, but he'd never felt so connected to anyone like this.
~~~
Xavier slipped the empty plate back through the bars and sighed contentedly. "Thank you again for the meal. It was very appreciated. I hope for the sake of all involved that success is meet with the end of Markus." He said with conviction.
Maxton stood with the rolled papers and looked to the warlock. "You seem much changed from our first meeting. It is welcomed, I assure you, much like your well wishes." He said with consideration.
~~~
Racine looked deeply into Sorcha's eyes. "It became taboo because it requires a touch of unseelie Magic." He replied softly as he brought her hand up to the center of his chest and laid it where he'd embedded the Unseelie Sorcerer's Stone within his sternum. "Unless you know another way? "
~~~
Ender smiled at Foneth to show she'd recalled Avalon's name right. Before looking back at Avalon's group.
Avalon smiled happily at the positive response. "Very true. If you'll please allow me to introduce my fellow companions. This is prince Bardou and my two Sylph guards are Spyro and Alstan." She explained.
Both Sylphs bowed formally to the great dragons. They were in awe of them.
Rouha continued his search deep within the waterlogged earth. The stone walls he encountered stopped him and added to certain obstacles. But he followed it's contours to the promise of dryer earth.
"A lot of it is just luck," admitted Asclepius. "Although never staying in one place too long is a big factor. Plus, I have expensive tastes, and hiding away in my lair brooding and sitting in the dark just doesn't suit me," joked Asclepius.
"That would be a great loss indeed. But I can safely say that you do not strike me as a brooding type. You're far to charismatic for sure to succumb to that stuffy fate." Xatia teased Asclepius.
Nidhogg stopped, confused. She wasn't understanding what was happening. Her daddy was supposed to destroy them all. He would break the walls and shake the building by the roots. He was cowed? She made a soft mewling sound through her muzzle, straining a little despite the pain. The prods were becoming nearly all the little wyrmling could stand. She took one more trembling step forward, then her fragile psyche snapped, and she collapsed in a heap in front of her father. As her pleading eyes rolled back in her skull, they locked for a moment with his. " Do whatever you have to do, daddy. Don't worry about me. I'm just the weakest link. I'm sorry I couldn't get away...
I'm ... Sorry...."
She siezed violently and then was still, barely breathing.
For all Reaper could discern in his pain induced state was that Nidhogg's collapse was of a more permanent nature. He wailed in agony of a different persuasion. He looked to Pariah as his eyes turned into devoid depths of black obsidian. He growled so deeply that the very concrete beneath him started to return to sand and gravel once again. Without taking his dead eyes off of Pariah, he snaked his tail up along his back on the outside of the electric netting. Once in the spot between his wings, he twined its tip into a tight coil and ripped the netting from himself. "I never should have trusted the Fae would let me be in peace. Did King Racine send you?" He demand mentally, his anger so profound Reaper didn’t bother forming words aloud.
Pariah tipped her head slightly and transformed to her Demos form, only to smile with a month full of razor sharp fangs. Her response to his question was a violent hiss filled with droplets of her venom. "You are a fool to challenge me, creature of earth! Though you see only one before you, I assure you, I am legions! Just as my army will be immune to the burn of your acid breath, you will feel every pounding blow of their fits and weapons. They will crush you and all you hold dear!" Pariah said in a voice so loud that its disembodied words filled the entire warehouse to the point of deafening. As her last syllable died, a bright flash of light momentarily blind Reaper as an army of gargoyles manifested from the thin air around him. Almost as if they'd formed from the very ruble of the ruined floor. They were stone on stone, which armor and weapons to match.
Reaper reared up as tall as he could within the confines of the warehouse. He looked over questioningly at the stone army that now surrounded Nidhogg and himself. He was not a coward, but he also knew well from his time with King Racine legends of the gargoyles. For a few were very hard to vanquish, let alone these numbers. He quickly scooped up his daughter into his front legs and held her tightly within his protective embrace. He turned his head upwards towards the ceiling and coughed an acid ball at the sheet metal roofing. Within minutes there was a hole large enough to accommodate his size. He launched them through it with one powerful leap before spreading his wings to pump the air to maintain liftoff. For the first time in his life he was thoroughly and truly scared.
"Well, not entirely. I only brought you here. The security and building is up to others. I'm also a refugee here. " Kyth admitted truthfully, as he moved to sit on the other side of the couch.
Aurienne directed her gaze to her hands which laid nervously fidgeting in her lap. "Then you must know, what I am." She stated quietly in thought.
Anna chuckled softly and rolled her neck away a little to look at him "You are, but you were able to read my thought that I did not speak it aloud." She said then gave him a kiss
~~~
Aurora took the plate and smiled at him "We will be leaving soon, I hope you are ready." She said gently before heading for the door. She was hopping htey could get out and save the others that were trapped quickly and safely.
~~~
Sorcha took a breath at the touch as she looked into his eyes as well. She shook her head a little then smiled softly. "I do not know any way, there is no mind to see the past here, and I know you won't let either of us be harmed, though I do not like the use of that magic. I do trust you."
~~~
Bardou bowed as well, amazed at the three dragons there.

Foneth bowed her head then introduced her guards as well. She looked back to the queen again and smiled softly. "We only have a day before the call will start to call us back home again, I hope this is not a bad time for us to come." She said a bit apologetically.

Echo team soon had a spark net set up to take care of the bugs, killing them off and setting up a perimeter for the bigger creatures. so they would have a 'safe' space to fight from and take a breath

"So," thought Asclepius aloud," are fairy dragons named thus because they are small and colorful, or because they truly straddle both fae and dragonkind?"

Slygotha, though she could barely see through the vines and the darkness spell, had been feeling very smug, but that was now fading away as the reptiles started to pour in from the trees and the river. The crocodiles, keen on the easy meal, would nonetheless only go a short way from the river, but any close to the river would quickly get drowned and eaten by them if they weren't paying attention. She could hear the insects dying, the buzzing across the landing and the burnt smell wafting through told her that her subtlety was lost here. These interlopers refused to die or leave, and they weren't scared of her tricks. She was still loathe to reveal herself, and her senses warned her that something was disturbing the earth nearby, digging methodically, probing her barriers. Things were getting serious. Trogdor had crept from the hoard pile and nosed the broodmother's foreleg, his eyes questioning.
She rumbled, a growl escaping. " I told you to hide in the cavern. It's dug out of the stone, to protect the gold, and it will protect you too," she hissed, trying to keep her voice low .
"But mother, why are we hiding? I don't understand," whined Trogdor loudly.
"Shhh! Just do as I say! I am broodmother!" She growled. Trogdor retreated, looking a bit like a sad puppy.
Even though the various snakes and lizards were creeping in from the jungle, Slygotha could not hear screams of anguish from the interlopers. At this point, it was time to get more serious. They were obviously strong, whatever they were, and resilient too. It was time to make better use of her overgrowth. A few twisting tendrils nodded, still very slowly climbing as her overgrowth spell waned. Summoning her strength, she closed her eyes, and jammed her claws deep into the muck layering the bottom of the cave, touching the roots of the magical vines. She guided the roots to entwine and embed in her claws, feeding the overgrowth with more of her inner magic. Reacting violently, the vines rippled to life once more, catching up any caught near or in the tangled confines, twisting into shape. She siezed the tunneling intruder, squeezing and wrapping around that which had disturbed her roots. The vine had become an extension of herself. Continuing to grow as it picked up the struggling biped, the vines on the edges of the landing receded into the new burgeoning shape, now growing strangely draconic features. They continued changing, with mounds of twisting vines springing forth from the slimy mire, each mound taking on a shape like a dragon's neck and head, with sunken pits where the eyes would be, and dotted throughout with the poison spewing flowers. A dozen heads now waved strangely, the largest one towering with the struggling intruder in it's throat. Slygotha hoped to crush the life out of it first, since it was obviously immune to acid. One of the heads, closest to the edge, turned to the armored bipeds stationed just out of reach. She only knew the local dialects and draconic, but she cursed at them, then demanded," what do you vermin want?"

Nidhogg's eyes fluttered a little as she was gently lifted away from the ground. Still bound, she groaned a little through her muzzle, dizzy.

One of the group stepped forward a little, though the vines were frightening. She knew the local dialects and could speak for the group "You are a black dragon of these woods, correct? You lost a young one recently?" She asked kindly "Please, stop with the tricks and come out to talk to us." She waited for a reaction, trying to play innocent and nice to the dragon inside.
