Fay stayed with her for now, watching over her as she slept. She may have to leave later on, but for now, she would be a pillow and a comfort to the dragon
Phoebe woke suddenly, an urgent feeling taking hold as contractions started in her body. It wasn't comfortable, but it didn't hurt as much as human women would say. The nice thing about eggs was that they tended to just slide on out, nothing to get hung up on. Grunting, she lumbered to the nest, making ready to deposit the first of several winding their way down. Thank goodness these would be the last, and no more would be forced.

"Maybe they got her. Maybe they got dad! He was fighting so hard when he sent me away! " Nidhogg was afraid.

Asclepius brightened upon hearing this. " Thank you, Xatia. You truly are a princess! Still, I will have to help Phoebe when I am done helping everyone here."
Asclepius poked his index fingers together nervously. He wasn't sure if he was ready to face Phoebe yet.

"Magic has many rules, so it takes time and persistence to learn them all" Jackie said gently. Her kind did at any rate.

Anna showed him her phone and smiled "I sent texts to their families. They should bring something soon, I just hope those we can't track are with the wolves."

Aurora did look at the crates then shivered "It's an overseas carrier. I am guessing, but with the language we heard I think they are taking us to Russia." She shook her head after a moment and started to knock on the crates to see if they held living cargo too while watching for anything they could use as a weapon and for the crew of the ship.

One of the crew looked up, hearing the out of place sounds as he walked. He stopped and tilted his head, turning to his companion "Hear that?"
Zypher nodded with a relaxed smile at Jackie's gentle words and understanding of his naivety of magic. He looked to Anna's phone and nodded, "It would make sense that they are all traveling together, especially since they're displaced. But as you said, it's no guarantee." Zypher reasoned aloud.
~~~
Aeval put her ear to the crates to see if she heard any movement within them or call for help. Her head wiped away as he heard vocals from below. She looked wide-eyed to Aurora and grabbed her hand to move in between two to hide.
"Hear what? You're big lips a flapping? Yeah! I hear that just fine." The crewman retorted.
"In Anstropfia, we fae like to see each new day as a way to improve upon the last. Don't carry your regrets with you, Asclepius. They add a burden that only make your journey harder and that much longer. Go see Phoebe, I believe you'll find her mood much-improved. If not, just give her time." Xatia said reasonably.
Fay was surprised by her sudden movement, but soon realized what was going on. She wasn't sure she should interfere though, so stayed quiet and out of the way.
Jackie reached over and patted Anna's arm gently "I will do what I can. I will prepare for the scrying." She said before heading into the cabin
The man looked to his companion, giving him a gesture then looking around again before walking away. The crate tehy had knocked on made no sounds, it was empty of life, though there were cloths in it.
Phoebe focused on the task at hand, and soon pushed an egg out, depositing it neatly into her nest. She exhaled heavily, relieved that her belly felt lighter. Only a few left to go! She turned to look at the new egg. Gasping, she exclaimed," what is this? The dancing flame should be a tiny gold embryo. This! It is... A blue flame? How can this... Wait... It must be the sire's influence. What sort of dragon is he, I wonder?"
"Yes, I cannot hide forever. I feel badly that she was captured. Because no males answered her Call, I suppose she is frustrated that it led to her capture. I chose not to answer, but I had that choice. She's not royalty, after all, but still, there is certainly a measure of guilt there. We can never know the what ifs. And you are right in asserting that dwelling on the past won't help anyone move forward. I will do as you suggest, princess, and visit her, But I will not neglect these people gathered here. I won't neglect my allies. When we are all safe, that's when I will leave." Asclepius nodded to Xatia, a weight lifted from his heart. He almost felt silly for being worried about what she might think.
