Logan didn't have a real plan, or any plan for that matter. "Only thing I can think of right now is either throw stuff at them, or fake sleep and jump them, but both those require us being vulnerable."

Kali growled and forced herself to stand, moving away a bit. "They want me, I'm different." She said before shifting to her fea wolf form. She was already tired, but she got a rush from being in this form. She moved, going to the tables and pushing one towards the door to act as a barrier.

Jura watched as Kali the she wolf stood and changed shape, but not to her human form but to something entirely different. So this was why they wanted her, this is what made her special. Jura moved to help her push the table towards the door, figuring she could help her and help defend as well. Even in this impressive new form the she wolf was weak from whatever had happened before she had entered the room.

Valstrath took the crudely made pouch necklace and slipped it over his head. "Thank you broodmother. I shall heed your words." He replied with words far beyond his young years. This attack had made them all grow up so fast.

Razeth however took the offered seeds and nodded quietly. He was thinking about how beautiful and safe the vines had made him feel. He secretly mourned their loss and sacrifice.

Reaper softly cried for the loss of his baby girl. He held Trogdor all the closer because of the frailty of their circumstance and the uncertainty of his mate's survival with the rest of their wyrmlings.
Slygotha the Broodmother thought as she led her wyrmlings towards the river. The river would eventually wind down into the sea (with all that itchy yucky salt water), to where humans lived in masses. Physically, they would blend into the local population easily. They just would avoid talking to the humans if possible. The clothes, though. The clothing on the corpses that littered the landing around the den was pretty rank. And honestly, she wasn't sure if she had the skills necessary to craft passable clothing.
She did have one covering she could craft, but it might make them stand out for different reasons than festering uncured animal skins or clothing peeled from corpses. She would craft them all shrouds of darkness like her own. It was a simple spell, and self sustained once cast, depending upon how much is sunk into the initial spell.
She had taken them to the river's edge. It would be safest to remain in the water as long as possible. The river twisted lazily away, spread wide. The dead trees nearby dipped their branches into the murky waters.
" Wyrmlings, I will craft you each a shroud of darkness. It will be very similar to mine," here she pointed to the obsidian colored stone embedded in her chest. It radiated a faint darkness, like a black hole pulling the surrounding light into it. Closing her eyes, she squeezed her palms together, her eyes turning black while darkness crept from around her, swirling into her palms instead of spreading outward. Her brows furrowed with concentration, her eyes taking on the appearance of bottomless pits. As strands of darkness gathered faster into her pressed palms, Slygotha started chanting to direct the spell, weaving enchantment into three stonelike objects, similar to her own, but smaller in scale to suit her young. With a final flourish, she closed her vacant black hole eyes, her voice reaching a cresendo.
When she opened her eyes again, they had returned to normal. Revealing her palms, there lay three black obsidian colored stones, emitting a faint darkness. She presented one to each wyrmling, showing them how to plant the stone into their chest and work the spell.
Nidhogg was unsure of herself, but watched closely everything going on. She affixed the spell stone to her chest, feeling a weird surge of energy. Immediately, the stone reacted to Nidhogg, expanding into a shapeless black mass with her as its nexus.
"Help mother!" Squealed Nidhogg.
" Just calm yourself down, little one, and command the stone. It will take some practice, but it is easy enough."

Aurora looked at Pyro then away "My child can be headstrong. I am glad she made it out alright." She said softly "Having them work together against you...well, it's not good, though her getting the new dragon type on our side is good."

Jackie moved her hand to hug Sergio against her arm. She liked the demons presence with her.

Logan turned to Hunter, trying to get him to wake faster.
"I am grateful my lack of vigilance didn't come to tragedy. I have learned it is rather hard to keep track of twins." Pyro said as he landed on the beach. He gently set Aurora's feet down just inside the range of the water lapping at the shore.

Sergio settled down from the excitement and yawned under Jackie's and moved out of sight once again.

The table actually worked to the shooters favor. Before the wingless dragon could move too far, the shock net was fired at her to snag her in it. With her incapacitated, they had full access to the wolves. The shooter assigned to take down Kali, aimed for the tongue in her mouth. The only spot that didn't have plaited thorn armor. The cannon shooter drop the cannon and picked up his rifle to take aim at Logan and fired.

Kali yelped at the dart's hit, stumbling back then falling again. As soon as she was unconscious it forced a shift to her natural wolf form, leaving her defenseless and asleep.

Logan soon followed as the Russians shot at him again, though he, like Hunter, remained in their human forms. It was their natural forms, that they had been born to.

~~~
Aurora sighed as the waves reached to almost greet her. She nodded to Pyro then walked out a few steps before sitting in the lapping water, letting it swirl around her, constantly in motion. "I never expected all of this when Estelle hatched. Having her get blown away then taken by Marcus and cloned by Xavier. Now she is testing out her rights as a queen, or Elle is. I have no idea what is going to happen. There is only supposed to be one queen, yet they are one even as two different girls." She may have sounded a bit mad, but she couldn't keep all this in anymore, not in this state.
~~~
Jackie sighed softly again, felling Sergio move and curl up for some sleep. The young demon was dear to her, and she wanted her to remain in good health.

Andorra small group moved in to pick up the she wolf and retreat with her sleep form. Where several other moved in with collars for the males. Once clicked into place, the bolted to the other room. Mission accomplished they left with the prize. After removing the dart and slipping a restrictive collar on her. It would allow her to keep her wolf or human shape, but nothing larger.

Pyro settled on the shore in his dragon form. He listened and weighting his thoughts and interpretations of the way things had turned out. At the risk of Aurora's ire, Pyro offered, " It is not for us to know the how's or why's. Your daughter, Estelle was ment to be queen in the old world. But with the tampering of the magic of the founding spell , it has offset the harmony of the shifter's world. Perhaps Elle as a doppelganger, may very well be needed to make the unnatural hybrid dragons come to balance, if not come to heal. I do not attempt to know these things. I'm merely speculating a viable outcome. " Pyro looked to the sand and doodled at it with his claw. "You know, I remember a kingdom in the Dark Ages that was ruled by brother Kings. Though their kingdom did not know there was two of them. They were identical twins and their people did not find out until one died publicly. Now don't focus on the death. That's not why I brought this up. Focus on the duel leadership and shared responsibility instead. " He concluded as he looked up to Aurora finally.

Bertram came into the kitchen and got a large glass of water to drink. He nodded to the ones helping to stir the large pots. "That smells so good from outside. I just had to come in to check in. Maybe sample some?" He whispered softly so Jackie wouldn't hear.

The girl giggled and held up the wooden spoon. "I'll pop you on the hand if you try. I was warned about you Kelpie." She said teasingly.

Bertram pouted piteously as he batted his eyelashes for effect.

Razeth took the stone carefully and held it in the middle of his chest right over his sternum. He yelped as iron adhered with a slight pinch. Then the dark cloud grew in proportion to his body. He quickly thought up the shape of where he saw the humans wearing their clothing. After some practice, it settled down into a synonyms of clothing.

Valstrath took the last of the ebony colored stones with shaking hands. He gripped it to tightly and almost shot it out into the murky water. With a flurry of grabs, he managed to capture it before it was gone forever. He let out a soft breath and glanced to his siblings to mimick their actions as he attached the stone to his small chest. He cried out in surprise as the stone cleaved to his flesh. He then watched as the smoke poured out of the tiny stone. We bit his lips for courage and stood his ground as he did a broodmother said. Command the stone, command the stone....because his only thought. But nothing was happening.

Jura screamed in rage and surprise as the net closed in around her. She tore at it but it was no use. It shocked her until she fell to the ground with a thump, her body twitching slightly but she was no threat any longer. She watched with heavy lids and sullen eyes as the wolves were collected and collared, much in the way she had been for all of her life. And now that they had what they wanted she wondered what they would do with her. If she would be terminated or allowed to live in a cell like she had in the past. At this point she wondered if death would be kinder.

Slygotha dutifully reassured Valstrath and Nidhogg, touching each of them with her snout in turn. "Calm yourselves. The stone reacts to your commands, and to a lesser extent, your emotions. Concentrate, and don't let your emotions cloud your thoughts."
Nidhogg took a deep breath and gathered her resolve. Focus. Focus. Breath slow, clear out fear and anger... Finally, she achieved some semblance of control, albeit very wobbly. The black mist behaved for her like an unruly child, and she would need much practice before she would control it.
Slygotha stated, "with time, you will do it. You must. You can practice while we swim down the river."

Asclepius took note of the movement across Jackie's arm. "Do you have a demon familiar too? I got one of them too!" Blurted Asclepius, hooking a thumb at his chest proudly. "Actually, it's a Duke and his 26 legions, but for all intents and purposes, he's sort of.... Um... My familiar. You know, when he feels like it.." Asclepius's voice trailed off a bit. " I have him trapped in a book. He's quite brilliant, but he's rather unfriendly."
