No, but I plan on publishing at least one book someday. I love writing and have been doing it for as long as I can remember.

Let me tell you a thing.
Your character wants this thing, right? He want it bad. But when he starts, he has a sore, but he keeps going because he's tough.
Along the way, he comes across another problem, and he pushes past, but it leaves him scuffed. The sore is getting worse.
Now it starts to snow. Scuffs are bleeding, sore is raw.

Unfortunately, this is where most stop. You know what you need? A purpose for the want.

Maybe he's running a race to get funds for his little girl in the hospital. Trying to prove that short people can be great at basketball, too. Saving the universe because "I'm one of the idiots that lives in it."
