High Heat And Egg Laying

Hit 114 today. Got 5 eggs out of 16 hens.... 2 marans, 2 ameraucanas and a polish. miracles never cease.

I have also seen a major decrease in egg production from m chickens, but I keep a kiddie pool filled with water in the shade for my girls. This week has been triple digits in panhandle. and even my ducks don't want to leave the pond even at night.
