High nest

I have a broody. Shes been sitting for 5 days now. I was wondering if its an issue that the nest is about 3 1/2 to 4 feet off the ground. Will the chicks be able to safely get to the ground with mom once they hatch? Do I have to build a ramp?

The chicks can fall down okay (they're pretty resilient) but what might be better is when hatch day comes, just block off the entrance to the nest with chicken wire or something similar, and then after all the chicks have hatched you can take them out and set them down yourself

Will they be able to get back up into the nest?

No, so she'll have to take them elsewhere to sleep at night.
